Abstract

Trust is very important in a management. Good management is supported by good leadership. Leadership is founded on trust. When self-confidence is fragile, the leader will soon collapse. Similar to leadership standing in education on the basis of trust. Therefore, the most basic and important thing when being a leader is to instill trust in the members or subordinates because of the way that a leader will be respected and respected in an organization. Instilling trust in the leadership of subordinates is influenced by the type of person and the type of leadership style depends on the person.

Abstract

With the rapid development of the internet and digital information technology and coupled with a pandemic, humans need to adapt and change many aspects of their lives, including in the learning process, especially when there is a strong urge to adapt technology more quickly due to the ongoing pandemic outbreak. Learning that was previously done outside the network is now taking place online during a pandemic. The disruption that has occurred in the learning process throughout the pandemic will certainly not restore the habits that existed in learning before the pandemic when the pandemic ends. Actually every normal before the disruption will change to normal after the disruption.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activity and learning outcomes of economics class XII IPS Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Tanah Laut through the use of the Snowball Throwing learning method in economic subjects for the 2018/2019 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in two cycles. The first cycle consisted of two meetings and the second cycle consisted of one meeting. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were students of class XII IPS, totaling 22 students. The success indicator in this study is if 75% of students are actively involved in learning and there is also an increase in learning outcomes in each cycle through the post test and if 75% of students can achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) determined by the school, which is 75. The results showed that with the application of the Snowball Throwing method in class XII IPS, the students' learning activeness scores on each indicator overall increased by 19.17%, from an average of 60% in the first cycle and became 79.17% in the second cycle. The increase in mastery of student learning outcomes increased from the first cycle as much as 74% to 84%. Thus, student learning outcomes have reached the KKM score in cycle II.

Abstract

Success in educational programs in the teaching and learning process is strongly influenced by several factors, namely students, curriculum, teachers, funds, infrastructure, and environmental factors. If these factors are carried out properly and of good quality and the learning process will result in an increase in the quality of education. One of the factors that support the success of educational programs and influence the learning process is the facilities and infrastructure. In this study the author uses the library method, which is a data collection method that is directed at searching for data and information through documents, both written documents, photographs, pictures, and electronic documents that can support. Educational facilities are a means of supporting the teaching-learning process. According to the Preparation Team for Standardization of Educational Media Standards at the Ministry of Education and Culture, what is meant by: "Educational facilities are all facilities needed in the teaching and learning process, both movable and immovable so that the achievement of educational goals can run smoothly, regularly, effectively and efficient". Management standards are national education standards relating to planning, implementation, and supervision of educational activities at the level of education units, districts/cities, provinces, or nationally in order to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the administration of education. Facilities and infrastructure and standard processing are needed for the progress and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process in schools.

Abstract

SD Negeri 112 Pekanbaru and SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru are basic education units located in the Sidomulyoa Timur Village, Marpoyan Damaia District, Pekanbaru City. The theoretical concept used in this study is the theory of According to Robbins (2006), measuring employee performance individually. The method used in this research is an qualitative method by using a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used is by using interview and documentation techniques. The purpose of this research is to find out the performance of teachers at public elementary schools in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, and to find out the factors that hinder teacher performance at public elementary schools in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. The results of the study found that the performance of teachers at State Elementary Schools in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City was not optimal. The factors that hinder the performance of teachers at State Elementary Schools in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City are the ability and expertise of teachers, limited resources, and awards. To improve the performance of teachers at State Elementary Schools in Sidomulyo aTimura Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, all teachers, especially teachers at SD Negeri 112 Pekanbaru and SD Negeri 161 Pekanbaru, need to improve their respective abilities and expertise, in addition to the related Dinar and the Principal need to add school resources that still do not meet school needs and need to improve teacher welfare, as a form of appreciation for improving teacher performance at State Elementary Schools in East Sidomulyo Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

In the world of education, assessment is an important thing for teachers to do. This is because it has become a right of students to get value from learning outcomes and it is an obligation for teachers to provide results to students. From an assessment the teacher can find out the learning outcomes of students. It is the teacher's job to collect information/data about learning achievement. This assessment is very influential in the goal of achieving student learning achievement. Therefore, the assessment must be truly in accordance with the elements. If in the assessment students cannot achieve the objectives of learning, the teacher will correct these deficiencies by conducting a learning evaluation. The assessment is carried out in accordance with the elements that have been determined in order to achieve the learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' social studies learning outcomes through the application of the Back To Back Technique learning model. The subjects of this study were class IX students of SMP Negeri 20 Makassar in the 2020/2021 academic year with a total of 20 students. This research is a classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 4 meetings. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of the Back To Back Technique learning model could improve student learning outcomes. The increase in learning outcomes is shown by the results of research from cycle I to cycle II, namely the average value of student learning outcomes increases from 70 to 80. The results of this study can be concluded that the application of the Back To Back Technique learning model can improve class student learning outcomes. IX SMP Negeri 20 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether Rensia Sanvira's TikTok content affects character strengthening in children aged 2-6 years. In this study, the authors took the data by filling out a questionnaire with closed answers using google Forms. The object of the study is parents (born 1980-1999) who looked at Rensia Sanvira TikTok content and had children aged 2-6 years, with a total of 26 people. The research method used in research is a qualitative research method, with the approach used in the study being the content analysis approach. Based on the author's research, it can be divided into two parents who see Rensia Sanvira content (73.1%) and who do not see Rensia Sanvira content (26.9%). The results of filling out the questionnaire (94.7%) get a method of strengthening character in children through Rensia Sanvira content (94.7%). The technique given by Rensia Sanvira, through its content, affects the development of supporting the nature of children at home. Rensia Sanvira suggests character strengthening education in children through its content, namely: 1) Maintaining good communication and 2) Having an attitude of respect towards children. Based on the research results that the author conducted, it can be concluded that Rensia Sanvira TikTok content helps and affects the strengthening of the character of children aged 2-6 years who uphold the values of kindness make children have good morals and ethics for further personal development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the problem solving ability of students in solving story problems on a two variable system of linear equations based on the Polya at SMP Negeri 3 Tondano. This research method is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Collecting data using tests and interviews. This study was followed by 20 students from class VIIIA. Essay test by 20 students and from the results of the descriptions test, 3 students were taken to be interview subjects representing high skill subjects, medium ability subjects and low ability subjects. The research subjects used purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used are data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results of this study are high ability subjects are able to carry out the four stages of Polya moderately capable subjects are able to perform three stages of Polya and low ability subjects are able to carry out two stages of Polya.

Abstract

The current mathematical learning model demands a standardized process that can promote various learning abilities, one of which is the ability to understand mathematical concepts. After a survey was conducted in one of the schools in the Motoling sub-district, namely SMA Negeri 1 Motoling, it turned out that a problem was found during the covid-19 pandemic, namely the lack of understanding of students' mathematical concepts in matrix material which can be seen from the results of student tests on matrix material, it is suspected that this problem is caused by learning models that are less precise and varied to be used in this pandemic period because students tend to learn online and offline, so a learning model is needed in this case. Based on this, experimental research was conducted to determine the differences in students' mathematical concept understanding abilities between classes taught using the flipped classroom model and classes taught using traditional learning models. The selected research subjects were 2 homogeneous classes, with the number of students in the experimental class being 30 people and the number of students in the control class being 30 people. The results showed that the average ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who were taught using the flipped classroom model was 88.3 while students who were taught using the traditional model were 66.07. Based on the results of testing the research hypothesis using the t-test, it can be concluded that the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts in the matrix material of students who are taught using the flipped classroom learning model is more than students who are taught using the traditional (conventional) model.
