Abstract

Productivity is a comparison between the results of an employee's work with the sacrifices that have been spent. Increasing work productivity is possible only by humans. Therefore labor is an important factor in measuring productivity. Age and length of service are factors that are directly related to work productivity. Age and length of service felt by employees can reduce productivity or increase employee work productivity. This study was conducted at the Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi Islamic Hospital, aiming to determine the effect of age and working period on employee work productivity. The data collection used in this study was by using questionnaires. The population in the study was 212 employees of the Ibn Sina Bukittinggi Islamic Hospital. In this study using quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. As independent variables, namely age and length of work, while dependent variables are labor productivity. The results of the data analysis obtained that the variables of age and length of service have a positive effect on work productivity, this can be seen from the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) showing that the percentage of contribution of the influence of independent variables (Age and Working Period) is 33.1% on the work productivity of employees of Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi Islamic Hospital.

Abstract

This research is used to see a comparison of the assessment of public service delivery in 2021 with 2022. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to explain the developed public service delivery assessment. An ombudsman institution in Indonesia assesses public service delivery called the Ombudsman RI. The results of this study found that there was indeed a comparison of the assessment of public service delivery in 2021 with 2022. First, the results of public services in 2022 will result in a Public Service Supervision Opinion, while 2021 only divides it into compliance zones. Second, the assessment method in 2022 will be more varied, ranging from interviews, data collection, and documentary evidence supporting services to observation. Interviews will be divided into service officer interviews and community interviews. If in 2021, only physical observation. Third, the locus of assessment of public service delivery in 2022 is broader than in 2021. Fourth, institutional assessments are divided into two categories: non-vertical and vertical institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of service at the office of the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) Tirta Siak Pekanbaru City and what are the inhibiting factors. The theory used is the theory of Zeithaml Parassuraman &; Berry there are five dimensions to measure service quality, namely tangibbles, realbility, responsive, assurance, empathy. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach obtained through interviews, documentation, and observation. There are two population groups and samples in this study, namely 3 employees and 10 customers. The sampling technique used in determining individuals is purposive sampling. The results of this study show that the service quality of PDAM Tirta Siak Kota Pekanbaru is still not running well in accordance with customer satisfaction, only one indicator is assurance that has been running well to its customers. While the tangibbles, reability, responsive, empathy indicators are concluded that they have not been implemented properly. The inhibiting factors that affect the quality of PDAM Tirta Siak Kota Pekanbaru services are lack of human resources, absence of working time SOPs and lack of equitable distribution of routine checks every month to customers' homes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the degree of impact influence work productivity has on community satisfaction at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Tanah Datar Regency. In order to achieve this goal, the researchers collected data by distributing questionnaires with a population of 101 people (community). Data processing uses quantitative analysis to determine the effect of work productivity on community satisfaction. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a positive influence of work productivity on community satisfaction which had been tested using SPSS ver 16, the work productivity variable (X) on Community Satisfaction (Y) had a significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. . And the percentage contribution of the X variable to the Y variable is 77.2%. So from this value, it can be concluded that the higher the work productivity, the higher the community's satisfaction with the work productivity produced by employees. This research was conducted to improve the trust and legitimacy of the government and bureaucracy in the community's.

Abstract

In March 2020, Covid-19 entered Indonesia. The widespread spread of COVID-19 has had an impact on society, the economy and business. Previously, businesses could function independently; Now, to stop the spread of disease, businesses must provide dedicated, adaptable physical environments and allow employees to work from home. Hotels need staff members who perform well in running hotel operations. Human resources (HR) are now viewed by organizations and businesses as important assets, not just as resources in the current era of globalization. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of anxiety due to layoffs on the motivation of hotel employees in Padang City to maintain their jobs. This research uses quantitative methods, a form of research that is included in the descriptive research category. This particular method uses a correlational approach. A simple regression analysis method was used to analyze the research. Based on the research results of the anxiety variable with a t-value of 2.188 and a sig value (0.031 < 0.05) with df = 100-2 = 98, a t table of 1.960 is obtained. From the results above it can be seen that tcount > ttable or 2,188 > 1,960, meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that anxiety about facing layoffs has a positive and significant effect on the work motivation of hotel employees in Padang City.

Abstract

This research aim of being able to describe how the Implementation of the Merit System in Transfers of Civil Servant Positions at the Sungai Beremas Sub-district Office, West Pasaman Regency and to find out the Inhibiting Factors and Also whether there are supporting factors in the implementation of the System the merits. The application of the merit system at the Sungai Beremas Subdistrict Office, Pasaman Regency in implementing promotion of positions prioritizes employees who have managerial competence and technical competence. Promotions are given to employees who have above average abilities. It is hoped that this will provide competition for employees to improve performance in their respective work units at the Sungai Beremas District Office, Pasaman Regency. The obstacle faced in the implementation of the Merit System in Sungai Beremas District, West Pasaman Regency, is the replacement of the Head of Sub-District Head at the Sungai Beremas District Office, Pasamanya Regency, once every 5 years. With the substitution of this Camat, of course there will be other management changes. Then the Camat's Commitment as PPK emphasizes loyalty rather than qualifications, education, competence and performance. So that sometimes employees do not know their main duties, because they are not experts in the field, with the Camat's commitment as PPK which places more emphasis on loyalty than qualifications, education, competence and performance.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone including the government has implemented WFH (Work From Home) or working from home. This condition forces people to be able to adapt to new technology and habits so they can continue to live life as they should. Thus, in order to support the smooth running of services to the community, the head of the Padang City population and civil registration service published an online service application called Si Rancak. However, it cannot be denied that there are still several problems or inhibiting factors in providing services to the community. This research aims to explain what are the inhibiting factors of Si Rancak's online-based service innovation to provide excellent service to the community in the Padang City Dukcapil Office. The research method used is qualitative research. The types and sources of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Testing the validity of this research data uses source triangulation and method triangulation techniques. The analysis technique is using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that there are internal and external factors that hinder the public's access to the Si Rancak application. Internal factors such as people not having smartphones, not understanding information technology, age factors, educational and employment status, and disabilities. Meanwhile, external factors such as unstable internet network problems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Evaluation of  Implementation Sumbar Sadar Vaksin Program (Sumdarsin) by the Seberang Padang Health Center. This type of research is qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the analysis of several aspects for the Evaluation of  Implementation Sumbar Sadar Vaksin Program (Sumdarsin) by the Seberang Padang Health Center includes reducing the transmission or transmission of Covid-19, reducing morbidity and mortality due to Covid-19, and protecting the public from covid-19 to remain socially and economically productive. The obstacles found in the Evaluation of  Implementation Sumbar Sadar Vaksin Program (Sumdarsin) by the Seberang Padang Health Center include limited socialization of vaccinations to the community, public distrust of vaccines, and the lack of available facilities.

Abstract

This research is intended to find out how effective the agency's technical implementation unit (UPTB) is in serving rural and urban land and building taxes (PBB-P2) at Bapenda Padang City. In relation to this study, the researcher used descriptive qualitative methods, and to determine research informants used purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Furthermore, the validity of the data uses the source triangulation technique and will then be analyzed by the researcher. Based on the results of the researchers' findings, the effectiveness of the agency's technical implementation unit (UPTB) in providing rural and urban land and building tax services (PBB-P2) at Bapenda Kota Padang has not been fully effective. The obstacles faced by UPTB in PBB services, especially in changing PBB data, are constrained by the long time to complete data changes because there are many administrative requirements for taxpayers who are lacking. One of the efforts made by UPTB in optimizing PBB services is by utilizing technology, which without having to come to Bapenda or UPTB, the community can check information related to PBB P2 data through an application.

Abstract

This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, in determining researcher informants using purposive sampling methods and techniques. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. In testing the validity of the data, researchers used method triangulation techniques. As for data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study conclude as follows; (1) The role of the Social Service towards people with social welfare problems (PMKS) in Fifty City District, namely (1) the role of facilitators by providing education and training to people with social welfare problems in order to improve their skills in overcoming problems and building independence. (2) the role of education carried out by raising awareness such as children facing the law (ABH). (3) representational roles by building partnerships. The representational role of the Fifty City District Social Office involves building partnerships with various parties, including NGOs, community organizations, and other related parties.  (4) the technical role of the Fifty City District Social Office towards people with social welfare problems by providing social service delivery includes the provision of financial assistance, access to mental health services, housing services, counseling, and employment guidance. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors  for the role of Social Services towards people with social welfare problems (PMKS) in Fifty City Regency are limited resources and lack of public awareness.
