Abstract

Abstrack: The research aims to describe word classes that contained in the ‘Maaf’ by Putu Wijaya’s short story. Word class is a word classifiation in units of language with based on the form categories, function, and meaning in the system grammatical. The function of word class is to develop sentence properly based on patterns sentence raw in order to avoid a mistake in the writing of the setence. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by analyzing the documents that have been obtained and then explained based on word class, compared and combined to form a systematic and a whole results of the study. It can be concluded that the result of the research from ‘Maaf’ by Putu Wijaya’s short story are (1) Noun 613 words. (2) Verb 436 words. (3) Conjunction or particle obtained 424 words. (4) Adverb 303 words. (5) Pronoun 274 words. (6) Adjektive 223 words. (7) Numerals which is only 46 words. Keywords : Morphology, part of speech, short story

Abstract

Abstract: An analytical study of Athillah Afro Sandi's poem entitled Aku Si Pencemburu and Pulanglah in terms of the physical structure and inner structure was carried out to find out what inner structure and physical structure are contained in the two poems. The research method of this study follows a qualitative descriptive method in which the process and meaning are highlighted in qualitative research. Then the research data were analyzed using the results of poetry analysis before concluding. The results indicate that the poem “Aku Si Pencemburu contains conventional typography, connotative diction, olfactory images, visual images, tactile images, concrete words, personification figure of speech, full rhyme, the theme of jealousy, excessive jealousy, threatening tone, and a message that overly jealous people can harm their partner. Meanwhile,Pulanglah contains conventional typography, the diction of confusion, hopes and requests, tactile and vision images, concrete words, broken rhymes and rhymes with the theme of a place to go home, a sense of hope, a tone of storytelling and pleading, and a message that there will always be a place to go home after traveling so far. Abstract

Abstract: Throughout the course of human civilization since prehistoric times, rivers have been the main determinant in choosing residential locations, including the Batanghari River area. Archaeological research data showed that the distribution of ancient settlements follows the pattern of the Batanghari watershed from upstream to downstream to the estuary. In the upstream area there is the Dharmasraya temple area, and in the downstream there is the Muarajambi temple area, both of which became the center of ancient Malay civilization between the VII and XIV centuries AD. This phenomenon raised a fundamental question, whether the two were related or connected, especially related to religion or religious background? This question was answered by a qualitative research method with a social archeology approach with stages of data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation. The theory of " Entanglemen of humans and things " states by Ian Hodder (2011) is used as a conceptual basis in the analysis and interpretation stage, which then result in the assumption that there was a religious relationship between the Dhamasraya temple in the upstream and the Muarajambi temple in the downstream, both of which were set in Mahayana Tantrayana Buddhism. There were also differences, upstream religion was in the form of tantrayana a widya or left-wing, while downstream was tantrayana widya or right-wing. The similarities and differences were influenced by its position in the Batanghari watershed area. Keywords: Civilization, Batanghari River, Ancient Malay.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the phonological aspect of 'Kita Saksikan' poem by Sapardi Djoko Damono. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explain the results of phonological aspect in Sapardi Djoko Damono's poem ‘Kita Saksikan’. Based on the results of the stylistic studies that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the poem 'Kita Saksikan' by Sapardi Djoko Damono is a type of poetry that has an efony orchestrated sound. Phonological elements in the form of alliteration are /d/, /k/, /l/ , /m/, /n/, /p/, /r/, /s/ and /t/ , assonance sounds are /a/, /u/, /i/ and /e/. The final rhyme is in the form of a-a-a-a, the inner rhyme is in the form of an, ak and am sounds.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the moral values ??in the KKN novel in Desa Penari by Simpleman. The data source for this research is the novel KKN in the Penari Village by Simpleman which has 260 pages published by PT Bukune Kreatif Cipta, printed second in October 2019. The research data is the moral values ??in the KKN Desa Penari Karya Simpleman novel. This research method uses descriptive methods by collecting data, describing data, and analyzing data. The instrument used in this study was a documentation guide. The data analysis technique used was reading the novel repeatedly, internalizing, understanding, collecting data, underlining, describing, and concluding the results of the research. The results of the study found moral values ??which consist of values the moral relationship between humans and God, the relationship between humans and oneself, and the relationship between humans and humans. Abstract

Abstract: Learning social studies has an important role for students because social studies is related to various aspects of human life which involve behavior in meeting aspects of life's needs and social studies is related to how humans use their efforts to meet their needs. In essence, what is studied in social studies is how to study, examine, study the system of human life in society. The needs of the 21st century demand that the learning model applied in the social studies learning process is able to develop students' high-level thinking skills which in Bloom's Taxonomy include the ability to analyze (C4), evaluate (C5) and create (C6). Thus the learning process produces excellent human resources, capable of critical thinking and readiness to face rapid changes in global society. Abstract

Abstract: Along with the times, now the indigenous Mandailing people can be found in various regions throughout Indonesia. One of the areas where the Mandailing indigenous people can be found is in the Rokan Hulu Regency of Riau. The Mandailing indigenous people in the area live by customary values ??brought from their place of origin, including in the field of marriage. The author is interested in researching how traditional marriages are carried out in the Mandailing community, especially nasution in the current era of globalization. This research was conducted using empirical methods, using primary data, and inductively concluded. The results of the study show that in the development of people's lives, especially in the current era of globalization, some members of the community do not practice it due to economic factors that make it difficult to make honest money payments to women, there are changes in people's thinking that are influenced by modernization or also influenced by foreign cultures. Keywords: Traditional marriage; Development Marga nasution Abstrak: Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, sekarang masyarakat adat Mandailing dapat ditemui di berbagai daerah di seluruh Indonesia. Salah satu daerah dimana dapat ditemui masyarakat adat Mandailing adalah di daerah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Riau. Masyarakat adat mandailing di daerah tersebut hidup dengan nilai-nilai adat yang dibawa dari daerah asal, termasuk di bidang perkawinan. Penulis tertarik meneliti bagaimana pelaksanaan perkawinan adat di lingkungan masyarkat Mandailing khususnya nasution di era globalisasi saat ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan dnegan metode empiris, menggunakan data primer dan menyimpulkan secara induktif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasanya dalam perkembangan kehidupan masyarakat, terutama di era globalisisasi saat ini, sebahagian anggota masyarakat tidak menjalankannya dikarenakan faktor ekonomi yang sulit untuk melakukan pembayaran uang jujur kepada pihak perempuan, adanya perubahan pemikiran masyarakat yang dipengaruhi oleh modernisasi atau dipengaruhi juga oleh budaya asing. Abstrak: Perkawinan Sesuku merupakan perbuatan yang dilarang oleh adat istiadat yang berlaku Pada Masyarakat Adat Kenegerian Logas Tanah Darat (Luhak Nan Sambilan) Riau. Tetapi fenomena yang terjadi masih adanya masyarakat yang melangsungkan perkawinan Sesuku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab larangan perkawinan sesuku dan peran ninik mamak dalam menangani permasalahan terjadinya perkawinan sesuku. Permasalahan penelitian ini tentang penyebab larangan perkawinan sesuku dan peran ninik mamak dalam menangani permasalahan terjadinya perkawinan sesuku di Kenegerian Logas Tanah Darat (Luhak Nan Sambilan) Riau. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian Observasi, dengan melakukan wawancara dan kuisioner terhadap objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian penyebab dilarangnya perkawinan sesuku adalah orang yang melakukan perkawinan sesuku sama saja dengan menikahi saudaranya sendiri, karena pada jaman nenek moyang dahulu mereka merupakan saudara sesusuan, menyempitkan pergaulan, melahirkan keturunan yang kurang berkualitas, serta pisikologis anak. Abstract

Abstract: Researchers conducted research on the Review of the Position of Widows in the Traditional Inheritance System in the Batak Toba Society Study in Sitapongan Village, Sijama Polang District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra Province. Most of the Batak people who live in Sitapongan Village still adhere to a patrilineal kinship system which does not allow widows as heirs and does not recognize the division of inheritance/inheritance. The purpose of this study was to determine the position of widows in the customary inheritance system, in the Toba Batak community, especially in Sitapongan Village, Sijama Polang District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra Province. The type of research used in this research is observational research by means of a survey, meaning that a research conducted by the author directly goes down to the field to obtain information and data related to the author's research. The results of the study concluded that the position of the widow in the customary inheritance system in the Batak Toba Community due to the death of her husband has 2 options, namely the widow can remain under power and in the circle of relatives of her late husband and not remarry and the widow can return to her relatives (parboru). Settlement of disputes that occurred against widows who were abandoned in Batak custom in Sitapongan village, ended in marhata settlements or family settlements, there was no effort by the widows who were sampled to carry out settlements through the courts. Keywords: position of widow; traditional inheritance Abstrak: Peneliti melakukan penelitian tentang Tinjauan Kedudukan Janda Dalam Sistem Waris Adat Pada Masyarakat Batak Toba Studi Di Desa Sitapongan Kecamatan Sijama Polang Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Sebagian besar masyarakat Batak yang hidup di Desa Sitapongan masih menganut sistem kekerabatan patrilineal yang tidak memperbolehkan janda sebagai ahli waris dan tidak mengenal adanya pembagian harta peninggalan/ warisan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kedudukan janda dalam sistem waris adat,pada masyarakat Batak Toba khususnya di Desa Sitapongan Kecamatan Sijama Polang Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian observational research dengan cara survei, artinya suatu penelitian yang dilakukan penulis secara langsung turun kelapangan untuk memperoleh informasi dan data yang berkaitan dengan penelitian penulis. Hasil penelitian yang disimpulkan ialah kedudukan janda dalam sistem waris adat pada Masyarakat Batak Toba karena kematian suami memiliki 2 pilihan yaitu janda dapat tetap tinggal dibawah kuasa dan di dalam lingkaran kerabat almarhum suaminya serta tidak menikah lagi dan janda dapat Kembali ke kerabatnya (parboru). Penyelesaian sengketa yang terjadi terhadap janda yang ditinggalkan dalam adat batak di desa Sitapongan, berakhir dalam penyelesaian marhata atau penyelesesaian secara keluarga, tidak adanya upaya janda yang menjadi sampel untuk melakukan penyelesaian melalui pengadilan.
