Abstract

This study examines the influence of Self Control and Financial Planning Behaviour on Financial Risk Attitude and online loan decision making, with Financial Stress as a moderating variable in the context of digital financial services. The rapid growth of financial technology has increased access to online lending and raised concerns about irrational financial decisions. This study aims to analyze how psychological and behavioral factors influence financial decisions in using online loans. A quantitative explanatory approach was used with data collected from 200 respondents in Surabaya through questionnaires. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that Financial Planning Behaviour has a positive and significant effect on Financial Risk Attitude and online loan decisions, while Self Control and Financial Risk Attitude do not have significant effects. Financial Stress significantly moderates the relationship between variables and online loan decisions. In conclusion, financial planning is a key factor in rational decision making, while Financial Stress influences behavior in digital financial contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of transformational leadership and AI-based competency development on employees’ green innovative work behavior, with innovation knowledge sharing serving as a mediating variable. The research aims to understand how leadership practices and technological competencies can encourage environmentally oriented innovation within organizations. A quantitative research approach was employed using survey data collected from employees through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique to evaluate the relationships among the variables. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly influences innovation knowledge sharing and green innovative work behavior. Similarly, AI-based competency development positively affects innovation knowledge sharing and green innovative work behavior. In addition, innovation knowledge sharing has a significant positive effect on employees’ green innovative work behavior. The mediation analysis further demonstrates that innovation knowledge sharing partially mediates the relationships between transformational leadership, AI-based competency development, and green innovative work behavior. These findings highlight the importance of integrating leadership practices, technological competency development, and collaborative knowledge-sharing culture to promote sustainable innovation in organizations. This study contributes to the fields of organizational behavior and innovation management by providing empirical evidence on how leadership and AI-related competencies can foster environmentally oriented innovative behavior among employees in modern organizations.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of ecological literacy into Sundanese language learning through a game-based medium, ecological literacy quartet cards, designed for elementary school students. The research responds to the need for contextual, interdisciplinary education that fosters environmental awareness while strengthening language skills, in line with the Kurikulum Merdeka and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The cards embed nine ecological domains (endangered animals, energy sources, types of waste, pollution, green actions, climate change, ecosystems, marine animals, and natural disasters) combined with Sundanese language literacy tasks such as sentence construction, vocabulary enrichment, and role-play. Employing a descriptive quantitative approach, the study involved 32 fifth-grade students in Lebak district, with ecological literacy measured through a 20-item multiple-choice test after the learning intervention. Results showed high achievement across most domains, with mean scores of 90.00 (SD = 6.48), and strongest performance in “Endangered Animals” and “Marine Animals,” indicating the effectiveness of visual narratives and cultural relevance in enhancing retention. Lower performance in “Types of Waste” and “Green Actions” highlights the need for more application-oriented activities to translate knowledge into behavior. The findings demonstrate that integrating ecological and language literacy through simple, low-cost, and culturally embedded game-based media can promote cognitive and affective learning outcomes. This model offers potential scalability for other regional languages and ecological themes, contributing to language preservation and environmental education

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in oral traditions. Oral traditions currently face serious challenges due to modernization and globalization. One oral tradition that still survives but faces the challenge of regeneration is Basiacuong, which is embodied in the Kampar Malay community. This study aims to analyze the regeneration process of Basiacuong oral tradition speakers in Alam Panjang Village, Kampar Regency. The study used a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, thematic categorization, narrative presentation, and triangulation of sources and techniques to maintain the validity of the findings. The results show that the regeneration of Basiacuong speakers in Alam Panjang Village is driven by the self-reliance of traditional leaders (niniok mamak) who built halls as routine training centers. The regeneration process takes place dialogically and gradually, with an emphasis on mastering the core structure (batang) before language ornamentation (bunga). This model creates an inclusive and consistent space for cultural reproduction. However, regeneration still tends to be reactive because the motivation to learn often arises after someone obtains a traditional title.

Abstract

This study attempts to examine the concept of local wisdom and food security among farmers who are practicing farming rocky lands in Burangasi Village in Lapandewa District, South Buton Regency. The data collection method used was ethnographic wherein data was gathered by employing the participant observation method and in-depth interviews. Data obtained were then measured in qualitative descriptive measures. The results indicate that the farmers at Burangasi Village are not pessimistic of the constraints of their lands. Rather, they proactively take these limits as a challenge by realizing local wisdom of the ancestors. This acquired knowledge acts as a type of intangible capital and helps farmers in overcoming land-related issues and being adjusted to the natural environment around them. There are a number of land-use strategies designed to suit plant traits among them being growing on rock surfaces, rock cavities as well as in between rocks and rocky soil. Consequently, there is not a single piece of idle land. Farmers implement different adaptive measures in order to increase food security. These involve controlling planting systems with crop diversification (polyculture), specifically of staple foods; planting one crop on multiple plots; staggered and continuous harvesting systems; and preservation of harvested products by processing it into various products to lengthen the shelf life and prevent.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the background of the different models of women's coolie clothing in the Deli tobacco plantation and the factors that affect it. The method used is the Kuntowijoyo historical method with the stages of topic selection, heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study show that the background of different clothing models is influenced by differences in ethnic origin and economic conditions, so that female coolies continue to use clothes brought from their home regions. Chinese female coolies wear simple long-sleeved blouses, Javanese coolies wear kebaya with batik cloth or sarongs, and Indian coolies wear traditional sarees. In addition, the difference in clothing models was also influenced by low wages, social stratification in colonial society, and changes in roles from ordinary coolies to nyai. The novelty of this research lies in the use of colonial photo archives as the main source for studying women's coolie clothing models. This study describes the clothing of various ethnicities and analyzes the differences in clothing models between Chinese, Javanese, and Indian coolies. This approach provides a new perspective by placing clothing as a social representation related to ethnic identity, economic conditions, and social stratification in colonial-era plantations.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and Board Gender Diversity on firm value, with corporate reputation proxied by Return on Assets as a moderating variable. The increasing importance of sustainability and governance practices has raised questions regarding their actual contribution to firm value, particularly in emerging markets where investor preferences may differ from developed economies. This study aims to provide empirical evidence on whether ESG and board diversity are valued by the market and whether corporate reputation strengthens these relationships. The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression on 57 non-financial firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the period 2021 to 2024, resulting in 228 firm-year observations. The findings reveal that ESG performance and Board Gender Diversity do not have a significant effect on firm value. In contrast, corporate reputation has a positive and significant effect, indicating that profitability remains a key determinant of market valuation. Furthermore, the moderating effect of corporate reputation is not supported, suggesting that financial performance does not strengthen the relationship between ESG, board diversity, and firm value. These results indicate that investors in emerging markets place greater emphasis on financial outcomes than on sustainability and governance attributes. This study contributes to the literature by highlighting the gap between ESG implementation and market recognition, and suggests that firms need to align sustainability initiatives with financial performance to enhance firm value

Abstract

This study examines cross cultural interaction and social cohesion in a multicultural school environment at SMA Negeri 2 Minas, Riau. Cultural diversity in Indonesian schools continues to grow, bringing students from different ethnic backgrounds into shared social spaces. Differences in language, communication styles, and cultural values influence interaction patterns and shape the quality of social relationships among students. The study aims to analyze the dynamics of cross cultural interaction, to explore students’ lived experiences, and to examine the formation of social cohesion in a multietnic school setting. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed. Data were collected through in depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving students and teachers. Data analysis included data reduction, categorization, and interpretation to identify patterns and meanings. The findings indicate that cross cultural interaction occurs in both formal and informal activities. Students experience acceptance and comfort, as well as challenges such as miscommunication, stereotypes, and group based interaction. Social cohesion develops through shared activities, common interests, and the role of teachers in facilitating interaction, although it is not evenly distributed across all groups. In conclusion, cross cultural interaction shapes students’ social experiences and contributes to the gradual formation of social cohesion through ongoing interaction and adaptation in a multicultural school environment.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the CINTA Curriculum through managerial supervision to enhance madrasah quality and culture. The enactment of the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 1503 of 2025 emphasizes the integration of character values into madrasah education, requiring adaptive and value-oriented management. However, empirical evidence on how managerial supervision facilitates the internalization of these values remains limited. This study aims to develop and analyze a value-based managerial supervision model to strengthen the implementation of the CINTA Curriculum. This research employed a qualitative approach with a multisite case study design. The study was conducted in several madrasahs implementing the CINTA Curriculum, involving madrasah principals, supervisors, teachers, and relevant stakeholders. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques. The findings reveal that systematic and reflective managerial supervision significantly enhances teacher performance, institutional effectiveness, and the internalization of CINTA values—intelligence, inclusivity, nationalism, resilience, and religiosity—within learning practices and madrasah culture. The integration of value-based supervision also promotes holistic learning and strengthens character education. In conclusion, managerial supervision functions not only as a quality assurance mechanism but also as a transformative strategy for embedding character values in educational practices. This study offers a contextual supervision model that supports curriculum policy implementation and contributes to improving madrasah governance and educational quality.

Abstract

Waqf is a strategic Islamic social finance instrument that supports socio?economic development, particularly through productive waqf and waqf?based entrepreneurship (wakafpreneurship) models. In Malay communities, the economic thought of Tenas Effendy in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu offers a strong ethical and cultural foundation that has not yet been systematically integrated into waqf?based economic empowerment models. This article aims to formulate a conceptual model of Malay community economic empowerment based on wakafpreneurship rooted in Malay Islamic cultural values. The study employs a qualitative, conceptual approach through a literature review of productive waqf and Islamic social finance, waqf?based entrepreneurship and economic empowerment, and studies on Tunjuk Ajar Melayu and Tenas Effendy’s thought. The analysis involves literature selection, thematic coding, and conceptual synthesis oriented toward developing a model compatible with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS?SEM). The findings indicate that values such as trustworthiness, justice, social solidarity, and balance between worldly and hereafter benefits can be crystallized into the Malay Islamic Cultural Values (MICV) construct, which conceptually influences waqf literacy, wakafpreneur orientation, and waqf governance. The article proposes six reflective latent constructs MICV, Waqf Literacy, Wakafpreneur Orientation, Waqf Governance, Community Economic Empowerment, and Social Welfare as an initial framework for future empirical testing in Malay communities.
