Abstract

Student involvement in the learning process is crucial as it affects their learning success. The implementation of online learning at UNISA Yogyakarta faced obstacles due to low student participation. Student interest in accessing the LMS is influenced by the quality of the LMS. The results of LMS monitoring and evaluation over the past year showed an average score of 2.28 (categorized as sufficient). Courses with good LMS evaluation scores accounted for 23.6%. The development of the LMS is an effort to increase student involvement in cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and performance aspects. This research is a collaborative study on LMS development in partnership with Universiti Malaysia Pahang. The development method uses the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The measurement of learning engagement, as the impact of CLMS development, was conducted using the Online Student Engagement Scale (OSE) adapted from Dixson (2015). Data analysis employed qualitative analysis and statistical frequency distribution for each engagement component. The results showed that the average engagement of respondents at UNISA Yogyakarta before CLMS development was 74.7, and the post-test average was 78.8, indicating a score increase of 5% (4.1). Meanwhile, the average engagement score of respondents at UMP was 73.4. The effectiveness test resulted in a p-value of 0.002 (p<0.05), indicating that CLMS development is effective in improving student learning engagement. Each course is expected to develop innovative teaching media within the LMS to enhance the student learning process.

Abstract

INTRODUCTION Infection by Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL)-producing bacteria in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is associated with treatment failure, prolonged hospital stay, increased costs and patient mortality. The factors of infection by ESBL-producing bacteria are important to figure out so that prevention and control efforts can be made. The aim of the study is to understand the risk factors associated with ESBL-producing bacteria infections in ICU of Jogja Hospital. METHOD This retrospective case control study included ICU’s patients who have an infection with confirmed E. coli or K. pneumoniae based on microbiological examination from January-December 2023. The patient’s data were obtained from the medical record to find the risks factors. Cases were defined as E. coli or K. pneumoniae ESBL, while controls were defined as non ESBL E. coli or K. pneumoniae. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. Bivariate analysis was carried out on independent variables (sex, age, length of hospitalization, comorbidity, cephalosporin usage, duration of antibiotic, utilization of urinary catheter and central venous catheter, exposure to mechanical ventilation, and presence of open wounds). Risk factors with P values <0.25 on bivariate analysis were included in multivariate logistic regression analysis. Two-sided P values less than 0,05 were considered statistically significant. RESULT Based our findings, there were 30 patients with ESBL-producing E. coli or K. pneumoniae (cases) and 32 patients with non ESBL-producing E. coli or K. pneumoniae (controls). P value <0.05 is the presence of open wounds. Based on multivariate analysis in table 3, the presence of open wounds has statistical significance, OR 6.52 (IK 95% p = 0.011). CONCLUSION The presence of open wounds is associated with the occurrence ESBL-producing E. coli or K. pneumoniae infection in ICU of Jogja Hospital.

Abstract

Community stigma towards people with mental disorders (ODGJ) is still widely found throughout the world, including Indonesia. Stigma can have a negative impact on the order of human life, including mental health services. This study aims to determine the impact of community stigma on ODGJ. The research method used was systematic literature review. The data base sources are google scholar, pubmed and science direct using the keywords impact, community stigma and people with mental disorders. 149 literature were obtained, then for the assessment of the quality of literature using the PRISMA method, and 6 literature were selected that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the study showed that all the literature stated that the impact of community stigma on ODGJ was not getting the right treatment and four literatures stated the disintegration of ODGJ with the community. Conclusion: The impact of community stigma towards ODGJ is that ODGJ do not get proper treatment, and it is even difficult to get proper treatment because ODGJ tend to be hidden, ostracized and even shackled. The next impact is that ODGJ experience disintegration with the community due to the labeling given by the community. Therefore, interventions are needed to increase community knowledge about the diagnosis of mental disorders, so that the community can accept ODGJ like other chronic disease sufferers and ODGJ can live more optimally like other members of the community.

Abstract

A Getting breast milk is the right of every baby. To reduce infant mortality and mortality, Word Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) recommend exclusive breastfeeding for babies for 6 months and continue breastfeeding until the baby is two years old. Insufficient breast milk will have a bad impacton the baby, namely the death of the baby and result in stunting and a decrease in brain intelligence. One of the efforts that can be used to increase breast milk production is to use acupressure techniques.Acupressure therapy in an effort to increase the amount of breast milkis carried out by applying gentle pressure to the point at the corner ofthe outer little finger nail (SI 1), just below the fifth rib just below the nipple (ST 18), the middle part of the body between the two breasts parallel to the sixth rib 3 x a day for a duration of 1-3 minutes. The research method used quantitatively with a pre-experimental design, namely one group pre-test post-test design, the number of respondents was 15 postpartum mothers. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling, namely all populations. The data collection tool used is an observation sheet on breast milk production. The results of the study also showed that most of the postpartum mothers who did not have enough breast milk production before being given acupressure therapy were 13 respondents (86.7%), but after being given acupressure therapy at the meridian point (SI 1) and (ST 18) 3 times a day with a duration of 1-3 minutes, breast milk production in postpartum mothers increased to 15 respondents (100%).Conclusion: Acupressure therapy is effective in increasing breast milk production of postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is a major public health problem in the world and is the second cause of death from infectious diseases. The main complaints experienced by pulmonary TB sufferers include coughing for more than 3 weeks, coughing up phlegm, coughing up blood, chest pain, fever, night sweats, malaise, decreased appetite, decreased weight, shortness of breath, and accumulation of secretions that are difficult to expel. The consequences of not expelling sputum smoothly cause the airway to become ineffective so that sufferers experience difficulty breathing. Efforts that can be given to pulmonary TB sufferers to overcome ineffective airway clearance are by doing breathing exercises. Breathing exercises are a nursing action in the management of patients with respiratory system problems. Breathing exercises that can be done by pulmonary TB sufferers are Active Cycle Of Breathing Technique. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of giving active cycle of breathing technique (ACBT) therapy on improving breathing patterns in pulmonary tuberculosis sufferers. The research method used is a quantitative type of research, with the research design used being a pre-experimental approach with a one group pre test and post test research design. The location of this research was carried out in the Jasmin room at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province and the time this research began was July - August 2024. The sample technique for this research was random sampling. The number of samples in the study was 17 people.
