Abstract

This qualitative study aims to find out how to instill the values ​​of environmentally responsible characters and responsibilities in students at Adiwiyata School. This research was conducted at Pleburan 04 Semarang Elementary School which is the PPK and Adiwiyata Schools. Routine activities in the context of forming environmental character in students are carried out through daily, weekly and occasional activities. The activity of forming an environmentally friendly character in students of the adiwiyata elementary school Pleburan 04 Semarang which is done at any time is the habituation of LISA operations (See Trash Take) to maintain school cleanliness. This activity is effective in forming the habit of caring for the environment in all adiwiyata students at SD Negeri Pleburan 04 Semarang because there are no student attitudes that are not in accordance with the direction of the goal of forming the main values ​​of the character, the teacher always conducts ongoing training so that the formation of character values ​​becomes a habit and a living culture adiwiyata school student Pleburan 04 Public Elementary School Semarang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' critical thinking skills and communication skills that have not been maximally developed in the learning process. During this time, the implementation of learning is dominated by the use of lecture methods whose activities are more centered on the teacher. This research uses a quantitative approach, a quasi-experimental method with the Nonequivalent Control Group design. The population in this study were all sample students in class V with 41 students. Data collection tools used were test questions, observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the following research questionnaire: (1) students are still experiencing difficulties in answering questions that require the analysis process. (2) students are still unable to identify problems related to the surrounding environment (3) students have not been able to have active discussions in the learning process, so that it can be concluded that to answer the problems above it is necessary to have a strategy that is an active learning strategy type of peer lesson can be applied as one strategies in learning Natural Science in the Water Cycle Material because based on the documentation of student learning outcomes the material is very difficult for students to understand

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the media ko Ajib (Magic Box) Based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) in the concept of addition material. This research was conducted with research subjects to class I students in one of the Public Elementary Schools in Surakarta City in the first semester of 2018/2019 academic year as many as 24 students, consisting of 7 male students and 17 female students. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research with patterns: planning, implementation, observation, reflection, revision. Data collection techniques using the method of discussion, observation, tests, field notes and documentation. From the results of the study it was found that student learning outcomes had increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, cycle I (70.83%), cycle II (91.66%). The conclusion of this study is through the use of Ko Ajib teaching aids (Magic Box) based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) on the summing concept material can improve learning outcomes of first grade students of Public Elementary Schools in Surakarta City Semester I Academic Year 2018 / 2019

Abstract

This research was conduct to describe the correlation between peer acceptance and learning motivation with learning achievement, the correlation between peer acceptance and learning achievement, and the correlation between learning motivation and student achievement in 5th grade in SDN Subdistrict of Klojen, Malang. This research was an ex-post facto by using quantitative approach with correlational methods. The subject of this research was 209 5th grade students taken from 7 elementary schools. The research result: 1) Have a positive and significant correlation between peer acceptance and learning motivation with learning achievement by Fcount 44.885>Ftable 3.039 with a significance level of 5%, and the significance value was 0.000<0.05. An effective contribution of 30%, while the remaining 70% is explained by other variables. 2) Have a positive and significant correlation between peer acceptance and learning achievement by tcount 3.060>ttable 1.972 and the significance value is 0.003<0.05. 3) Have a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning by tcount 4.341>ttable 1.972 and the significance value is 0.000<0.05.

Abstract

Based on field observation since 1999 until now, children who use the Tamong language as the first language often make mistakes in expressing thoughts, both verbally and writing. These errors can be observed in the pronunciation and writing of Indonesian vocabulary since they are in primary education up to secondary education. This causes errors and doubts in the interpretation of the meaning of the word by the recipient of the message from another area. This study aims to describe the analysis of the ability to write Indonesian vocabulary for third grade students of 19 Rambai Primary School Bengkayang Regency. This study use descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using documents and observation. The writer acts as an instrument for collecting data. Using data analysis techniques interactive analysis models through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this study were all students of third grade 2018/2019 school year. The number of students are 33 people. The results show that the writing of third grade students in terms of the position and number of consonant letters in one word shows variations in change from c to s, s to c, r to l, and l to r. Based on the results of this research and discussion, it can be concluded that the ability to writing Indonesian language vocabulary for third grade students of 19 Rambai Primary School, Bengkayang Regency has showed a changed in the variations consonant letter due to the influence of Tamong regional language usage habits that do not recognize phonemes /c/ and /r/, also students lack of understanding of the spelling and the meaning of Indonesian vocabulary

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (a) to find out the effect of experimental learning methods on student learning outcomes in class V-C, (b) Knowing the level of mastery of healthy thematic subject matter is important by applying the experimental method. This study uses two rounds of action research. Each round consists of two stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflections and refissions. The target of this research is V-C Class Students of Dukuh Menanggal I Surabaya Elementary School in 2018-2019 Academic Year. The results showed that learning by applying experimental learning methods obtained the following results, the average value of student achievement in the first cycle reached 76.35 and in the second cycle scored 84.53. Meanwhile, classical completeness in cycle I obtained a percentage of 75% and cycle II of 93.75%. The conclusion of this research is that the experimental learning method can positively influence the improvement of the learning outcomes of the V-C class of SDN Dukuh Menanggal I Surabaya in the 2018-2019 academic year, and this learning model can be used as an alternativ tematik learning.

Abstract

Teaching is an art, and the teacher as a planner of all activities in the class must be able to provide varied teaching. In addition to avoiding monotonous teaching, there are also demands to activate students in learning. So that students of school teacher education are trained in teaching science with a different approach in every practice or simulation of each activity in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of PGSD students to apply the process skills approach in implementing simulations in science learning classes. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and data sources data from the assessment of lesson plans and simulations in front of the class. Data collection techniques began with an assessment of the learning implementation plan they made and compared with the results of the simulation they did. The material used is energy subject material at grade IV elementary school. The results of the assessment of the Learning Implementation Plan found that 70% with good criteria, and 30% with sufficient criteria, and the average assessment was 80.40. And from the simulation results obtained 39% run Learning Implementation Plan with the process skills approach with excellent categories, 31% with good categories, 23% are sufficient categories, but there are still 8% who run simulations in the poor category, and an average rating of 80, 71.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to think critically through problem-based learning models in social studies class IV Elementary School. This research uses the Action Research model by choosing the Kemmis and Mc Tanggart models, namely planning (planning), acting (acting), observing (observing) and reflection (reflection). Abstract

Since March 2020 all education units in Indonesia have implemented the Home Study, or Distance Learning (PJJ) program, precisely since corona virus disease or Covid-19 was declared to enter Indonesia. The Regent and the Head of the Purwakarta Regency Education Office readily gave orders to all students to study at home and to apply Distance Learning starting on March 16, 2020 - May 29, 2020. The PJJ was implemented in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 Virus so that it would not be spread throughout Community in Purwakarta. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of Distance Learning for the Students of SD Scholar Purwakarta. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative design (case study). Data collection techniques using a questionnaire / questionnaire online using google form. Distance learning with several methods is quite effective to do. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire given to respondents from the 6 questions raised by almost all the average respondents support and assess that distance learning is effectively done to students.

Abstract

Mastery of learning materials is one of the main goals in education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the active learning model snowball throwing type with the index card match type in the ability to understand the concept of learners in elementary school. This research was conducted on students in grade IV SDN Cikampek Barat II, Cikampek District, Karawang City. The number of participants in this study were 26 students in the experimental class 1 who applied the snowball throwing learning model and as many as 26 students in the experimental class 2 who used the index card match learning model. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with the matching pretest posttest control group design. The data of this study were collected using test instruments and assessment rubrics. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the index card match learning model is more effective in increasing students' understanding of the concept of existing home material and traditional Indonesian clothing compared to the snowball throwing learning model.
