Abstract

This paper is the result of a qualitative descriptive study that aims to find out empirical evidence about the implementation of guidance and counseling at Bakung 1 Elementary School in Bandar Lampung. The results of the study show that the implementation of guidance and counseling refers to the results of understanding of students. The strategies applied by classroom teachers consist of integrating guidance and counseling material into the subject matter, choosing the right method and media, remedial, building empathic communication, setting an example, appreciating and strengthening, identifying and choosing assistance programs, and transfer of hands. Class teacher competence still needs to be improved so that the implementation of guidance and counseling in Elementary Schools can be programmed well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop teaching materials (IPA) thematic-based Integrated grade IV Primary School This research uses research and development methods that recommend the development model of Dick and Carey in developing learning products. From preliminary study through observation, interview and field questionnaire indicated that integrated science learning that took place at SDN Kelapa Dua 06 Pagi, still minimal teaching materials used and teaching materials that have not improved the condition of student inquiry, it is necessary to develop teaching materials (learning ) Integrated Science with integrated thematic based for fourth grade students of elementary school. Validation of teaching materials (learning) is carried out by learning design experts, learning media experts and learning material experts. After the revision was then piloted through a one-to-one test, the results showed that thematic Integrated Science materials based on the 2013 curriculum were in either category. Respondents who participated in this research were fourth grade students of SDN Kelapa Dua 06 Pagi in West Jakarta. The results of the experiments show that the developed materials still need material reduction and specific revisions to produce teaching materials that are in accordance with the needs of the fourth grade students.

Abstract

This research have a purpose for knowing the effect of classroom management and motivation of learning on the students' critical thinking skills in science subjects in class V SDN of Waled Cirebon. The research sample was in class V of SDN Waled as many as 100 respondents taken by the Cluster Sampling Area technique. In this study, we can conclude that there is a direct influence of the classroom management for the critical thinking of 0,603, there is a direct influence of motivation of learners to the critical thinking of 0,786, and there is a direct influence of the classroom management on motivation to learners at 0.536

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the inhibiting factors for the completion of Elementary Education Teacher students’ bachelor thesis (hereinafter will be called PGSD Students) in terms of internal and external factors. This research is qualitative descriptive using mixed method approach. The data of this research were collected using questionnaire and interview. The data analysis was performed by counting the percentage from frequent number that emerge in the questionnaires, then describes. The collected data were grouped and presented so that it can be easy top read, then analyzed and concluded using percentage technique. The result of this study showed that (1) The highest obstacle experienced by students in completing a thesis is psychological barrier with cognitive sub-indicator, it has 62 voters with percentage 67,39%; (2) The lack of books or references with 61 voters with a percentage of 66.30%; (3) physical barriers with pain sub-indicator were chosen by 60 voters with a percentage of 65.21%; (4) psychological barriers with affective sub indicator has the number of voters as many as 57 with a percentage of 61.95%; (5) counseling problems with a total of 55 voters with a percentage of 59.78; (6) meeting with supervisors problem were chosen by a total of 52 voters with a percentage of 56.52%; (7) Psychic or mental obstacle problems with psychomotor sub-indicators with 50 voters with a percentage of 54.34%; (8) the costs / funds problems with a total of 49 voters with a percentage of 53.26%; (9) on-campus activities with a total of 46 voters with a percentage of 50%; (10) problems with off-campus activities and the influence of parents with a total of 39 voters with a percentage of 42.39%; (11) pregnancy problems with 37 voters with a percentage of 40.21%; (12) family problems with 27 voters with a percentage of 29.34%. Based on the results of the analysis above, it is expected to be an evaluation material

Abstract

This article aims to identify or assess the confidence of elementary school studentsbased on the results of a review of the Bandura theory and the results of recent research. Thescope of study of these problems includes the concept of self confidence, the factors formedand processes that affect the development. The benefits based on the kajisan content of thisarticle are expected to be able to support in developing a self confidence learning strategy.Based on the findings of the observation, there is still a loss of confidence in students, especiallywhen faced with challenges or new situations when the learning process takes place. Thiscertainly results in a low sense of self-confidence through various smart efforts that can developa sense of self-confidence in students more developed through various strategies andapproaches to better learning. The results developed in the learning strategy are able to fosterconfidence. The method used in this discussion uses the review literature review method basedon the results of the latest research.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the situation of the learning process by using the tube-assisted recitation method and knowing the ability of students to create learning media through you tube assisted recitation learning methods can develop. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The subjects of this study were 5th semester students, PGSD FKIP Pakuan University. The instruments used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that you tube assisted recitation method can improve student independence, motivation to display the best, creativity and self-confidence of students in making learning media in elementary school. But there needs to be an emphasis on the importance of involving IT and the importance of including a reference list.

Abstract

“Media diorama adalah media yang menggambarkan suatu kejadian baik yang mempunyai nilai sejarah atau tidak yang disajikan dalam bentuk mini atau kecil” (Kustandi dan Sutjipto, 2011, hal.58). Media diorama ini dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada tema benda-benda disekitar kita materi pokok kenampakan alam. Pada penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah tema benda-benda disekitar kita materi pokok kenampakan alam yang memuat berbagai macam pengetahuan tentang kenampakan alam. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah (1.) Untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan media pembelajaran diorama materi pokok kenampakan alam pada Tema benda-benda di sekitar kita untuk Kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Tamban. (2.) Untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas media pembelajaran diorama materi pokok kenampakan alam pada Tema benda-benda di sekitar kita untuk Kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Tamban yang dikembangkan. (3.) Untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar dari penggunaan media pembelajaran diorama materi pokok kenampakan alam pada Tema benda-benda di sekitar kita untuk Kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Tamban yang dikembangkan. dalam penelitian pengembangan ini, peneliti mengacu pada model prosedural adalah model yang bersifat deskriptif, yaitu menggariskan langkah-langkah yang harus diikuti untuk menghasilkan produk. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Media yang selesai dibuat kemudian divalidasi oleh dosen ahli media, dosen ahli materi dan dosen ahli RPP. Kualitas media yang telah dikembangkan adalah baik dengan tingkat kevalidan 75-100%. (2) Kemenarikan media pembelajaran ini dilihat dari hasil implementasi media dilihat dari hasil perolehan penilaian angket siswa dengan perolehan presentase 99%. (3) Keefektifan hasil belajar siswa pada pretest yang tuntas 6 siswa dan jumlah siswa yang tuntas pada posttest adalah 14 siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai posttest lebih baik dari nilai pretest. Jadi ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap penggunaan media diorama yang telah dikembangkan.

Abstract

Krisis keuangan yang melanda Indonesia pada 1996-1999 membawa dampak banyaknya siswa putus sekolah dasar. Kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak pada 2004 ditakutkan membawa akibat yang sama. Untuk memberikan dukungan kepada keluarga miskin, mulai pada tahun 2005 pemerintah Indonesia membuat program dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) untuk sekolah dasar sampai sekolah menengah pertama. Kebijakan ini kemudian diikuti oleh program pendidikan gratis yang diprogramkan oleh berbagai pemerintah provinsi dan pemerintah kota/kabupaten. Penelitian ini menganalisis pelaksanaan pembiayaan pendidikan khususnya mengenai biaya operasional di sekolah dasar di Kota Makassar, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan desain studi kasus dan menerapkan analisis tematik. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data di lapangan dengan meminta tanggapan dari pejabat pemerintah di tingkat daerah, anggota DPRD, penggiat LSM dan responden di tingkat sekolah serta menafsirkan pelaksanaan/ penerapan pembiayaan pendidikan di sekolah dasar melalui wawancara, dokumen dan observasi. Temuan penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masih terdapat pungutan terhadap orang tua siswa, biaya operasional sekolah ternyata belum mencukupi untuk memenuhi semua keperluan pembelajaran di sekolah, serta indikasi kurangnya transparansi antara kepala sekolah dengan guru-guru serta orang tua siswa. Selanjutnya didapati bahwa sekolah yang menjadi sampel, ternyata kurang melibatkan komite sekolah dan tidak adanya pegawai administrasi di sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini menyarankan masih perlu penambahan biaya operasional sekolah, perlunya transparansi dan perlunya perbaikan penggunaan dana di sekolah serta perlunya pengadaan pegawai administrasi di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract: Healthy lifestyle is a behavior related to the efforts or activities of a person to maintain and improve their health. This behavior is very important to be instilled since elementary school age. This research aims to improve healthy lifestyle through a healthy living literacy program. This research method in the form of classroom action research, planning procedures, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of the research development was the first grade students of SDN Rawamangun 05, East Jakarta. The study was conducted in two cycles with the result that the first cycle was 71.35% and the second cycle was 95.88%. It can be concluded that the healthy living literacy program can improve healthy lifestyle in class I students of SDN Rawamangun 05, East Jakarta.
