Adjektiva: Educational Languages and Literature Studies
Jurnal Adjektiva: Educational Languages and Literature Studies (2622-6022) well-known as Adjektiva is an forum for original research on linguistics, literature, eduaction an international forum for original research focused on identities as local contexts, like an identity in linguistics, identity in literature, and identity in language education in global and local contexts, especially in Indonesia. These may include but are not limited to various fields, such as we are interested in interdisciplinary studies examining how issues of linguistics, literature, and education in language influence individual and community identities. In order to publish in Adjektiva, a study must have an overview of previous research or theoretical concepts that are packaged to justify the novelty/uniqueness of this study and central focus on local, foreign, minority, heritage, or indigenous languages (or non-standard dialects) and their intersection with either identity and/or education in language, linguistics and literature. We welcome a variety of topics, theoretical orientations, and methodological approaches (both qualitative and quantitative). Studies that highlight the potential of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (e.g. Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Anthropolinguistics, Ethnolinguistics, Stylistics, Dialectology, LHK, Psychopragmatics, etc.). Critical studies of Literature (e.g. Digitizing literature, new literary theories, applied literature). Identity in language and literature(e.g. Ethnic Identity, vocational identity, job identity, religious identity, moral identity, political identity, etc.). Research on innovations or on the effectiveness of various language education program models (e.g. Learning Curriculum, Learning Strategies, Learning Assessment, BIPA, International Language Coaching).

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the reception of readers, namely students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Class of 2017, Mulawarman University, on the intrinsic elements in Korrie Layun Rampan's short story Perhiasan Bumi and its implications for literary learning in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program based on Rachmat Djoko Pradopo's reception theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used were reading techniques and note taking techniques obtained from research questionnaires, namely questionnaires. The data used in this research is the reader's reception of Korrie Layun Rampan's Perhiasan Bumi short story. The results of this study are in the form of a reader's reception for the short story “Perhiasan Bumi” by Korrie Layun Rampan and its implications for literature learning in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Based on the data analysis, the results obtained include the reader's reception of the intrinsic elements of the short story of the Perhiasan Bumi by Korrie Layun Rampan which was produced after the respondent answered seventeen questions on the questionnaire, and three answers were found that are the same from the respondent on the implications of the reader's reception on the short story in literature learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims were to describe the form of spelling errors, namely the form of letter errors, the form of word writing errors, the form of punctuation errors, and the form of writing errors of absorption elements in the negotiation texts by students of class X Analysts of Health Vocational High School Samarinda. The data was carried out by giving assignments to students for making negotiation texts and giving questions via google form. The data of this study amounted to 20 students negotiation texts. The spelling errors were analyzed by using PUEBI (General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling) with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that there were still many spelling errors in the negotiation texts of student of class X Analysts of Health Vocational High School Samarinda. Spelling errors that found including errors in the use of letters consisting of errors in the use of capital letters and italics. Word writing errors included word combination errors, preposition errors, numbers and numbers writing errors, and pronoun writing errors. Errors in the use of punctuation marks included errors in the use of periods, errors in the use of commas, errors in the use of semicolons, errors in the use of question marks, errors in the use of exclamation points, errors in the use of quotation marks, and errors in the use of hyphens. Errors in writing absorption elements were not found in this study.]]>

<![CDATA[The main aim to make a drama script entitled “Year Ten Thousandth” by Fajri Syamsirani as a research with intend of examining the facts of the story and dismantling the script into elements of deconstruction. This study uses a qualitative method, by deciphering word and symbols full of meaning. Describe the data based on the facts of the story, including; characterization, plot, and setting. As well as dismantling the text with Jacques Derrida’s theory Deconstruction, including; Differance (Delay or Differentiator), Trace, and Sous Rature (Crossmark). Then define this drama script with social relations or society. Based on the results of data analysis, the facts found in the story is chronological plot, the main character is the protagonist and Ratu Babangida as the antagonist character. Both of these characters as actors who have a big role in the course of the story. Based on deconstruction’s theory used, which there are all elements, namely differance in the setting of the first time the incident began , Sous Rature also occurs in the time setting because of the differance in dimensions that occur, then the introduction to the conflict that occurs. Cannot to described in reality , and revealed the Trace or absence of meaning to not leave or neglect to worship. Overall, the intrinsic elements of this research able to offer a space for human awareness not to leave obligation. Let alone neglect to worship. Absolutely the extrinsic explain how to describe a deconstruction theory through out in a drama script.]]>

The aim of the research These are (a) To describe the form of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West; (b) To describe the function the ritual of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West; (c) To describe the meaning of speech of treatment bid ritual in Penyinggahan Village, Kutai Regency West. Methods used in research This is method analsys using observation techniques, structured interviews, note, record and listen. Research results obtained from data analysis that has been done by the author, the results of the research are (i) Mantra consists of several series of rhyming words; (ii) is verbal, magic or magical; (iii) asopheric (a special language between the speaker and the interlocutor); (iv) there are words that are less commonly used in everyday life. Function the bargaining spell of the treatment of the Kutai tribe based on the results of its function analysis, namely (i) The function of the mantra as a social controller; (ii) The spell functions as tolerance; (iii) The function of the mantra as a means to pray.]]>

<![CDATA[The research on the Digdaya novel by Syafruddin Pernyata aims to describe the characters and characterizations as well as social conflicts that occur in society. Characters and characterizations, namely Mustaqim, Fajar Kelana, and Bunga Nirwana as the main characters and there are 36 additional characters, Mustaqim has a protagonist character, Fajar Kelana has a tritagonist character and Bunga Nirwana has a protagonist character. The results of the Digdaya novel research can be concluded that the form of social conflict leads to a dispute or conflict between two forces, namely an argument between Fajar Kelana and his lover Bunga Nirwana because Fajar asked to marry secretly but Bunga refused. The cause of social conflict occurs because of the difference in interests between Fajar Kelana and Mustaqim, hearing the requirements that must be met, according to him, these requirements are unreasonable, causing misunderstandings between characters. Resolution of conflict of consciousness between characters to forgive each other through WhatsApp messages sent by Fajar Kelana character. The impact of social conflict leads to the effects of disputes, namely personality changes. Fajar lived a happy life and managed to get his dream lover, Bunga Nirwana.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the structure of the folklore of the Dayak Tunjung Rentenuukng tribe in Linggang Melapeh Village describe the cultural values contained in the folklore of the Dayak Tunjung Rentenuukng tribe in Linggang Melapeh Village. There are three folk tales of the Tunjung Rentenuukng Dayak tribe in Linggang Melapeh Village which were collected and analyzed, namely the story of Lake Aco which can be classified as a local legend. The folklore of Seek and Lokeek is classified into the fairy tale group, and the folklore of the Orphans is classified into the fairy tale group. In general, the folklore of the Dayak Tunjung Rentenuukng tribe in Linggang Melapeh Village has the theme of the formation of a place and the theme of a person's life journey. The characters in the three stories are dominant humans who don't give up easily and have good character. The cultural values contained in the story of the Dayak Tunjung Rentenuukng tribe in Linggang Melapeh Village are the cultural values of human relations with God, human relations with nature, human relations with society, human relationships with other people, and human relationships with oneself.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the psychological conflict, psychological aspects, and the factors that influence the psychological aspects of the main character Juang. The results show that the conflict experienced by Juang's character is an external conflict which is divided into conflicts between humans. The conflict is based on the stigma that says that Juang's family is someone traitor to the nation, the internal conflict that Juang experienced was when his friends were busy teasing Nadiya while she was reading a book so she felt disturbed and chose to separate herself from the real world and continue reading her book. The psychological aspect of fighting based on Sigmund Freud's theory works perfectly. The understanding of the id is the most basic personality system, the system that is innate instincts lives with instinctive desires. The fighting ego cannot fulfill the id then the superego works less than perfect and cannot control the id's instinctive desires. Broadly speaking, Juang Juang's psychological turmoil is divided into 2, namely, (1) Factors that influence Juang to be strong in living life as an idealist, including competence motives, love motives, values motives, and attitudes. (2) Factors that influence Juang's feelings include curiosity motives, cultural factors and ecological factors.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe the sound layer, the meaning layer, the object world layer, the world layer, and the metaphysical layer in the poem “Mother Pertiwi and Royan Reformasi” by Hasan Aspahani. The data collection technique used in this research is library technique. The result of the research from poetry data using Roman Ingarden strata norm analysis obtained layer of sound, namely mixed rhymes with continuous and broken rhymes and the sound of kakofoni. The layer of meaning obtained are the layer of the world of objects are obtained, namely the main character “nature” and the background of the feeling of sadness, chaos and sadness. The layer of the world, namely the author describe the sadness and state of nature due to the actions of irresponsible humans, so that humans can realize that they can use and protect nature simultaneously. It is found that metaphysical layer of the poet wants to convey how suffering nature is due to irresponsible human hands, arid forests land that is no longer fertile, barren mountains, and damaged oceans, this can result in nature disasters.]]>

<![CDATA[This study is focused on the social actors (individual or group) who are described by the writers in the news. The type of research used is a qualitative approach with descriptive presentation of the results. The data were collected by using observation, documentation and writing method. The data analysis technique used is the discourse of Theo Van Leeuwen model with the stages of data analysis are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data in this research is the sentences of the news which contain Theo Van Leeuwen model discourse theory. The data resource of this study is from an online media, Sketsaunmul.co website, specifically released from November to December 2019 with 36 news total. After analyzing data, the result of Critical Discourse Analysis of Campus News Texts on Online Media Sketsaunmul.co: A Theo Van Leeuwen Model study was found. The writers try to show or cite clearly the social actors who is involved in an certain event, so found inclusion strategic (entry process) the social actors in the news text. Then, every data in the sentence form would be explained by each strategic inclusion category according to Theo Van Leeuwen theory.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe Indonesian spelling errors in official letters issued by the General Sub-Section of the East Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Service Office. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach by collecting, compiling and presenting data. The technique used by the writer in this research is observation, documentation, listening technique and note-taking technique. The author analyzes or finds out spelling errors by listening to the letters one by one, then notes and counts spelling errors as a whole. Based on the results of the research that the author examined on official letters, there were still spelling errors in Indonesian which focused on errors: 1) writing the use of letters, 2) writing punctuation marks and 3) writing words. From this description, the author concludes that in writing the Indonesian spelling in an official letter in the General Sub-Section of the East Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Service Office, there are still some errors in the writing, as evidenced by the results of research conducted by the author.]]>
