Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 7 Semarang pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang dikumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata skor keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 52 (kategori rendah) dan 22% siswa memperoleh nilai kognitif di atas KKM, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 70 (kategori cukup) dan 58% siswa memperoleh nilai kognitif di atas KKM dan pada siklus III diperoleh rata-rata skor keterampilan proses sains siswa yaitu sebesar 88 (kategori baik) serta terdapat 74% memperoleh nilai kognitif di atas KKM. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains yang berdampak pada meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of initial observations and interviews, it was found that students were less enthusiastic about physics lessons. The learning process that occurs in the teacher's classroom is more dominant than the students. This causes students to be less motivated to be more active in the learning process and less involved in the learning process. In addition, the results of interviews with students who were only presented with practice questions and more listening to material explanations could lead to a lack of interaction between teachers and students in the learning process. The teacher also has never applied a problem-based learning model when teaching static fluid material. This study aims to describe students' creative thinking skills in static fluid material using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SMAN 2 Kuala Pemburan. This research uses the type of experimental research. The research was carried out in class XI MIPA SMAN 2 Kuala Pemburan in the odd semester which was conducted in July on the subject matter of Static Fluids for the 2021/2022 teachings. The instruments used are in the form of test questions about creative thinking skills, lesson plans (RPP), student worksheets, and observation sheets. The population used was students of class XI MIPA at SMAN 2 Kuala Pembuang.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the application of the Discovery Learning learning model. This research was conducted in class VIII G of SMP Negeri 20 Semarang in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year with 32 students. This research was conducted in three cycles. Data obtained based on the results of observations and tests. Data collection was carried out using descriptive comparative statistical analysis. The research subjects were class VIII G with a total of 32 students. The results of the first cycle of research showed that the students' critical thinking skills were in the very high category 6.25%, the high category was 12.50%, the medium category was 62.50%, and the low category was 18.75%. In cycle II the increase was shown from the students' critical thinking skills in the very high category 40.62%, the high category 37.50%, the medium category 15.62%, the low category 6.25%, and the very low category did not exist. In cycle III the increase was shown from the students' critical thinking skills in the very high category 65.62%, the high category 28.12%, and the medium category 6.25%. The results showed that the Discovery learning model was proven to be able to improve students' critical thinking skills, where the indicator of the success of this study was an increase in the average value of mastery of critical thinking skills during learning in each cycle. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve critical thinking skills which have an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which aims to determine the improvement of students' collaboration skills by using Project Based Learning learning model. This research was conducted in class VII E of SMP Negeri 29 Semarang in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 34 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data collection was carried out by direct observation during the learning process. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, where the indicator of the success of this study was an increase in the average student collaboration skills in each cycle. The results showed that in the first cycle, an average percentage score of students' collaboration skills was obtained by 54%. Whereas in cycle II there was an increase with an average percentage of student collaboration skills scores of 74%. It can be concluded that the use of Project Based Learning learning models can improve students' collaboration skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in the science subject on Earth and the Solar System for class VII H Semester II at SMP N 2 Tengaran by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were students in class VII H of SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year, a total of 34 students. Data collection was carried out by learning achievement tests and observations. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. From the results of the analysis it was found that the learning outcomes of students experienced an increase, namely, cycle I (58%) and cycle II (88%). The conclusion from this study is that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model has a positive influence on improving the learning outcomes of class VII H students on Earth and the Solar System at SMP N 2 Tengaran.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase student activity through the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model. This research was conducted in class VIII G of SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a total of 34 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data collection was carried out using observation and learning achievement tests. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, where an indicator of the success of this study was an increase in the average value of mastery of science process skills during learning in each cycle. The results showed that in cycle I, an average score of 63 was obtained for 3 students with active criteria, and 31 students got an average score of 57 with moderately active criteria. Cycle II experienced an increase with an activeness score of 83 for 23 students with very active criteria, and as many as 11 students scored 79.5 with active criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model can increase student activity which has an impact on increasing student learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh nilai siswa yang masih tergolong rendah, dimana banyak siswa belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM). Hasil prasiklus menunjukan dari 12 siswa hanya 33,3% yang berhasil mencapai KKM dan 66,7% masi belum tuntas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi operasi perkalian siswa kelas II SDN 2 Belanting dengan menerapkan metode bermain kartu bilangan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain kartu bilangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 2 SDN 2 Belanting pada materi operasi perkalian. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa jumlah siswa yang tuntas meningkat secara signifikan dari siklus sebelumnya dengan ketuntasan 4 siswa dengan skor rata-rata 63,75 dan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 41,83. Kemudian pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan siswa yang tuntas menjadi 7 siswa dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 70,83 dan ketuntasan sebesar 68,24%. Pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang tuntas bertambah menjadi 10 siswa menjadi 27 siswa dengan skor rata-rata 80,08%.

Abstract

Learning media is important to support activities in the learning process. One of them is the use of E-media in the form of online modules, namely the use of DL-based E-modules. The use of DL-based E-modules is used to see the effect on students' scientific literacy material on sound waves MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya class XI. The research uses a quantitative descriptive research type using the Pre-Experimental Designs One – Group Pretest-Posttest Design method. Data analysis from the average pretest score was 34,31 and the posttest average score was 83.282. The results of the data analysis of paired sample t-test obtained tcount > ttable = 2,00191 > 1.753 and one-way significance test = 0.03 <0.05 obtained H1 was accepted so that it was concluded that there was an effect of using DL-based E-module on students' scientific literacy .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' understanding of the concept after usinge-handout based on POE on students' harmonic vibration material. This type of research is a quantitative study using pre-experimental methodsone group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument was a concept understanding test consisting of 12 questions. The data obtained from the analysis of understanding the concept gets an averagepretest of 32.333 and posttest of 79.933. The results of the analysis wit hpaired samples t-test ie tcount < ttablenamely 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an effect after using the POE-based e-handout on students' understanding of concepts.

Abstract

This research is a systematic review of mobile learning media as a support for MIPA (mathematics and natural sciences) learning in Indonesia. In this study, an exploration of related journals was carried out, as well as an analysis of the suitability and effectiveness of using mobile learning in MIPA learning in Indonesia. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR), with planning, implementation, and reporting stages. In the implementation phase, a journal search is carried out using Google Scholar with the help of the Publish or Perish 8 application, with the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data obtained was analyzed to assess the quality of the journal and extract information according to the research topic. The results of the analysis show that mobile learning media has feasibility in MIPA learning in Indonesia by increasing the accessibility, flexibility, interactivity and involvement of students. The advantages of this medium including increased motivation, interactive learning experiences, and the ability to monitor learning progress. However, it is necessary to pay attention to deficiencies such as limited internet access and lack of content development in accordance with the curriculum. This research provides an in-depth understanding of mobile learning media in the context of MIPA learning in Indonesia and can be used as a basis for better development and implementation.
