Abstract

Abstract: Irregular menstrual cycles may alter the amount of blood loss during menstruation and potentially affect hemoglobin (Hb) levels. Persistent decreases in hemoglobin levels can increase the risk of anemia among adolescent girls and female college students. This study aimed to describe hemoglobin levels among female students of the D3 Health Analyst Study Program at Abdurrab University who experienced irregular menstrual cycles. This research employed a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 30 respondents were selected using purposive sampling according to the inclusion criteria. Hemoglobin levels were measured using the Cyanmethemoglobin method with a spectrophotometer. The results showed that 19 respondents (63.3%) were classified as anemic with Hb levels 12 g/dL, while 11 respondents (36.7%) had normal Hb levels. Based on menstrual cycle characteristics, 17 respondents (56.7%) had cycles longer than 35 days, and 13 respondents (43.3%) had cycles shorter than 21 days. Among respondents with menstrual cycles shorter than 21 days, 11 were anemic and only 2 had normal Hb levels. It can be concluded that most female students with irregular menstrual cycles experienced anemia, particularly those with menstrual cycles shorter than 21 days. Keywords: Hemoglobin, Namenia, Irregular Menstrual Cycle, Female Students.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to explain the legal reasons behind the narrative of the judgments taken by judges regarding the justification for limiting internet access rights as the construction of articles on content restrictions involving violations of the law in the ITE Law is contrary to human rights principles and describe how the application of human rights principles used in decisions as a metawacana that underlies judges to adopt these human rights principles, both constitutionally and based on derivative laws and regulations. This study examines decision number 230/G/TF/2019/PTUN-JKT. This study is a normative-philosophical legal research through a statutory, conceptual, and case study approach. The author concludes that every Indonesian citizen has a good reason to get and enjoy Internet access as a human right. Internet access is not only a luxury for those who can afford it, but also necessary for individuals to live a minimally decent life especially in area far from the State Capital such as Papua and West Papua. Therefore, the restriction and/or slowdown of internet access (throttling/blocking) carried out by the government through press releases from the ministry of communication and information in the Papua and West Papua regions as a preventive effort to prevent the spread of fake, provocative, hoax, and hate speech is an act against state/government law because (1) the product of limiting human rights to access the internet (internet rights) through throttling/blocking can only be carried out based on the law and the principle of proportionality (2) the government's authority is only limited to terminating access to electronic information and/or electronic documents that have unlawful content and do not include severing internet network access, (3) the government's actions substantially contradict the requirements of human rights restrictions. The application of universal human rights principles is accommodated in the decision as stipulated in Article 28 J paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution, Article 73 of the Human Rights Law, Article 19 paragraph (3) of the ICCPR. Keywords: Internet Rights, Human Rights, Decisions, And Law Country.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are one of the groups at high risk for iron-deficiency anemia. Adolescent girls during puberty are particularly vulnerable to iron-deficiency anemia. This vulnerability is primarily due to increased iron requirements during periods of rapid growth, as well as regular blood loss through menstruation. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors contributing to non-compliance among adolescent girls regarding the consumption of iron supplements. The study design used in this research was cross-sectional. The study was conducted at a high school in Mamuju. The research was carried out in April 2025. The study sample consisted of 65 female students. Simple random sampling was used as the sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results indicated an association between knowledge (p-value: 0.000) and exposure to information (p-value: 0.025) with non-compliance in iron tablet consumption. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is that the police, as public servants, are expected to perform their duties more professionally and independently. Therefore, in serving the community, they must be ready to help whenever a problem arises. Samapta is a technical police function that carries out preventive tasks to create a conducive security situation by providing protection, guidance, and services to the community. Samapta is often associated with patrols, being present among the people, especially in activity centers, residential areas, and places that require police presence. The competence of Samapta members at the Sorong City Police in carrying out first-response duties at traffic incident sites aims to evaluate how the Samapta members perform their duties according to existing legal regulations, particularly at the Sorong City Police. The practice of handling accidents starts after receiving reports or complaints from the public. Then, some officers will immediately head to the scene to check the report and carry out crime scene processing. The research used is normative-empirical research, which will be carried out by gathering information in the field (Field Research). Normative-empirical research is used to analyze or find out how far regulations or laws are being effectively implemented. Therefore, the research location chosen is at the Sorong City Police Department in Southwest Papua Province. Based on the source, data is divided into two types: primary data, which is data created by the researcher for a specific purpose to solve the problem being handled directly by the researcher from the first source or the place where the research object is conducted, related to the competence of Samapta Polres Sorong members; and secondary data, which is data that has been collected for purposes other than solving the current problem, from literature, articles, journals, and websites on the internet related to the research, to provide explanations, seek interpretations from respondents, or draw conclusions. The authority of Samapta Polres Sorong Kota members in carrying out initial actions at traffic crime scenes emphasizes that Samapta acts as first responders who maintain security, provide assistance, and manage traffic around the scene. Samapta's authority is limited to securing and handling the initial situation, not investigating. The legal process afterward remains the responsibility of the Traffic and Criminal Investigation units. Cross-functional coordination is very important so that handling the crime scene is effective, fast, and according to legal procedures. The role of Samapta can be optimized through ongoing training, improved facilities, and synergy between units at Polres Sorong Kota. Improving the competence of Samapta members at Sorong City Police in handling traffic crime scenes involves a combination of continuous training, adequate facilities, clear SOPs, and cross-unit coordination. With these steps, handling traffic accidents will be more professional, faster, and lawful, directly impacting public safety and the police's image. Keywords: Samapta, Sorong City Police, Competence, Traffic Incidents.

Abstract

Abstract: The charging system is a vital component on motorcycles because it functions to supply electric current and recharge the battery. The 2014 Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle uses a halfwave charging system that only utilizes half the cycle of alternating current waves so that the charging current is relatively small and unstable, especially when overloaded with an LED lighting system that requires direct current. This study aims to compare the stability of current and battery voltage between halfwave and fullwave charging systems when using lighting loads, bulbs, and full LED lights. The study used an experimental quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design, in which the standard charging system (halfwave) was modified to fullwave. The parameters measured include regulator voltage, battery voltage, State of Health (SOH), State of Charge (SOC), and ripple frequency at engine off and engine running conditions of 1,400 RPM. The results showed that the voltage of the fullwave regulator (13.04 V) was higher than that of the halfwave (10.84 V). In the condition of the engine running with full LED load, only the fullwave system experienced an increase in battery voltage by +1.40 V, while other combinations experienced a decrease. The SOH and SOC values in the fullwave system are more maintained, and the ripple frequency of the fullwave (maximum 45.70 Hz) is lower than that of the halfwave (maximum 84.70 Hz). It can be concluded that a fullwave charging system is more effective at maintaining current and voltage stability as well as battery life than halfwave. Keywords: Charging System, Halfwave, Fullwave, LED Light, Battery Life, Ripple

Abstract

Abstract : The use of e-cigarettes is increasing and is often considered safer than conventional cigarettes. However, chemical compounds such as nicotine, glycerin, and carbonyl compounds in e-cigarettes still have the potential to affect health, especially the cardiovascular and metabolic systems. This study aims to determine the levels of fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, and uric acid in e-cigarette users in Kecamatan Payung Sekaki. This is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach involving 22 male respondents aged 20–35 years who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Laboratory examinations were conducted using the GOD-PAP, GPO-PAP, CHOD-PAP, and Uricase-PAP methods. The results showed that 36.36% of respondents had above-normal fasting blood glucose levels, 22.73% had high triglyceride levels, 54.55% had abnormal total cholesterol levels, and 50% had abnormal uric acid levels. In addition, a trend towards an increase in all parameters was found in respondents who had used e-cigarettes for more than 3 years. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that e-cigarette users show a tendency toward abnormalities in several metabolic parameters associated with the risk of cardiovascular disease, especially with long-term use. Keywords: e-cigarettes, fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, uric acid
