Abstract

Quiz-based media learning is a combination of quiz elements and information technology to create an interactive and engaging learning experience. The purpose of this journal is to explore the effectiveness of quiz-based media learning in enhancing student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. This journal reviews the concepts and theories underlying the use of quiz-based media learning and analyzes the factors that influence its effectiveness, including instructional design, technological aspects, and student characteristics. Successful case studies are also presented to demonstrate the success of using quiz-based media learning. Through this journal, readers will gain a better understanding of the benefits and potential of using quiz-based media learning in the student learning process. The recommendations and guidelines presented in this journal are expected to serve as a guide for curriculum developers, instructors, and educational institutions to effectively adopt and utilize quiz-based media learning in the context of higher education.

Abstract

An efficient and integrated information system plays a very important role in lecture management in higher education. In this context, this study aims to develop a web-based student lecture data information system using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. This system is designed to facilitate the process of managing lecture data, including student data, course data, class schedule data and announcement data for students. MySQL was chosen as a database management system to store and manage student lecture data. Students can easily find student data, course data, class schedule data and announcement data for students. smoothly through a responsive web interface. This system provides an efficient and integrated solution for lecture management, enabling users to easily manage student lecture data.

Abstract

Website-based game top up information systems have become an important component in the modern gaming industry. This system allows users to top up their game balance easily and quickly via a convenient web platform. In this research, we develop and implement a website-based game reload information system that has key features, such as integration with payment service providers, managing user accounts, and secure transaction processing. We also analyze system performance in terms of response time and reliability. The results show that this game refill information system can provide a good user experience and provide efficient and reliable refill services.

Abstract

In today's quickly changing world, it is critical to provide students with the skills and information needed to flourish in STEM disciplines. Flipped learning, an innovative educational strategy, has gained appeal as a means to increase student engagement and deepen comprehension of STEM disciplines. This article provides a thorough examination of flipped learning in primary school STEM teaching, supported by relevant theories and literature. Flipped learning flips the traditional classroom approach by delivering instructional information outside of class, freeing up in-class time for active learning, hands-on activities, and collaborative problem-solving. The Cognitive Load Theory provides a theoretical underpinning for flipped learning by reducing cognitive load and allowing students to actively interact with difficult STEM subjects. Flipped learning boosts student motivation, critical thinking abilities, and information acquisition in STEM courses, according to research. This study confirms the positive impact of flipped learning on student engagement, critical thinking abilities, and enthusiasm for STEM disciplines in elementary school using a comprehensive methodology that includes literature analysis, classroom observations, and interactions with educators and students. Flipped learning is emerging as a valuable tool for preparing students with the skills they need to excel in STEM professions, encouraging additional investigation and collaboration among educators.

Abstract

This study presents valuable information for educators in Indonesia who want to build long-term and inspiring learning experiences. Teachers can foster long-term English language competency by adopting sustainable strategies such as immersive language settings, authentic resources, formative evaluation, collaborative learning, and language skill integration. Implementing project-based learning (PBL) alongside curricular requirements, ongoing professional development, student reflection, and community collaborations provides engaging and long-lasting educational experiences. In addition, encouraging student interest in creative writing across the curriculum enhances communication and critical thinking skills. Students are empowered to become responsible global citizens through sustainable cultural and global education in sustainable agriculture. Educators foster involvement and ownership by incorporating student interests into class planning. Educators in Indonesia can create transformative and impactful learning environments that empower students for lifelong success by embracing these concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a performance evaluation model for Arabic language teachers in the context of higher education through a literature review of relevant indicators and instruments. The primary goal is to design a holistic evaluation approach that is in line with the needs of higher education in Arabic language instruction. The research method involves an in-depth analysis of literature covering indicators such as teaching ability, material comprehension, student engagement, and technology integration, as well as assessment instruments such as classroom observation, project assessment, and the use of information technology. The research findings highlight the importance of stakeholder integration, including Arabic language professors, students, and other relevant parties, in the development of the evaluation model. The results of the literature review provide a strong foundation for designing a model that can advance the quality of Arabic language teaching in higher education. The research conclusion emphasizes the urgency of improving the quality of Arabic language instruction and underscores the vital role of the evaluation model in achieving this goal. Therefore, this research makes a significant contribution by providing a theoretical basis for the development of a more effective evaluation model to enhance the quality of Arabic language education at the higher education level.

Abstract

Character and moral education are crucial aspects in shaping the personal development of elementary school students. Teachers, as primary agents in the educational process, bear significant ethical responsibilities in guiding and fostering the moral growth of their students. This literature review adopts a descriptive approach to explore the pivotal role of elementary school teachers in educating students' character and morals, as well as the ethical challenges they encounter in this endeavor. The study reviews existing literature to identify effective strategies for integrating character education into the elementary school curriculum. The findings of this review are expected to contribute to strengthening ethical professionalism among teachers and enhancing the quality of moral education at the elementary level.

Abstract

 This article aims to determine the role of students through the Youth Elite Exchange Program (YEEP) student exchange program at National Quemoy University in 2022 in Taiwan. The type of approach used is qualitative through descriptive method. This method is used to describe the factual conditions that occur in the field during the program. Data collection was done through holistic observation (factual and literal) and documentation. Data analysis was done qualitatively through data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the data analysis showed that the activities and events that the students participated in during the program not only contributed to the enhancement of their experience in academic and non-academic aspects, but also expanded their network of social and professional relationships. Involvement in these activities develops students' new skills, meets people from different backgrounds, and builds useful connections. This research is important in uncovering the benefits of foreign exchange programs, as well as potentially increasing the motivation of other students to participate. This activity is also an attraction for students from certain campuses or other campuses. Thus, the program has a significant impact in preparing students to face challenges in the world of work and social life.

Abstract

Study aims at analyzing male and female lecturer talk in EFL classroom. Theanalysis was meant to find out the realization of mood in lecturer talk, the realization of mood in lecturer's role, and the mood realization difference between male and female lectures talk in EFL classroom. It was designed as a descriptive — qualitative research, and discourse analysis. Data were collected through observations i.e. recording and note- taking as the main source. The data were 'analyzed using mood structure analysis suggested by M.A.K Halliday. To gain deeper analysis, the data were triangulated by interviewing the participants, two senior English lecturers' i.e. male and female lecture, and one linguist. Based on •the results of the data analysis, the findings of this research can be stated as follow: (I) male lecturer employed/ seven speech functions and female lecturer •employed eight speech functions during their classroom interaction. Those speech functions were commonly realized in two types: typical clause mood and nontypical clause mood in making interpersonal meaning among the student, (2) the dominant use almost all speech functions in a certain role i.e. a controller role indicates that there is a relation between lecture's role and mood realization (3) there are some differences of male and female lecture talk in selecting mood system in expressing interpersonal meaning to the student i.e. in giving information, in asking a question, in demanding the student to do something and in offering something to students. Cultural and social factor of the lecturers are believed as the contributions to the differences.
