Abstract

The problem of unemployment has remained a reoccurring issues in Awka, Anambra State and Nigeria as a whole. In bid to this problem, the study focused on the effect of entrepreneurship on job creation in Awka, Anambra State. The study was anchored on Human Capital Theory by Becker (2002). Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study and complete enumeration was used to determine the sample size of 270 which also is the population size of the study. Data were collected with the aid of structured questionnaire while bio data were presented using simple frequency and percentage tables. Data were analyzed using arithmetic mean and hypotheses were tested using Simple Regression analysis with the aid of Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS version 27). Findings revealed that there is significant effect of entrepreneurship development on job creation in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria by indicating positive effect of entrepreneurship education on job creation, secondly, positive relationship between entrepreneurship skill training and job creation; and lastly, positive effect of entrepreneurship continuity on job creation. The study concluded that entrepreneurship development significantly contributes to job creation as indicators of entrepreneurship development such as entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship skill training and entrepreneurship continuity promotes self-employment and generate employment for others. The study therefore, recommended that both government and non-government organizations should focus on entrepreneurship developmental programmes as solution to unemployment situation in Awka, Anambra State.

Abstract

The growth of the Muslim fashion industry, particularly the hijab among Muslim women many of whom can be found in Jepara, particularly at the Lovable Hijab Shop on Shopee is the driving force for this study. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how lifestyle, flash deals, and online reviews affect consumers' intentions to repurchase. (Study of Lovable Hijab Customers at Shopee). The population in this research are Lovable Hijab customers at Shopee who took part in the Flash Sale program. The sample used in the research was 99 respondents taken using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique uses the Random Sampling method (chosen at random), namely Lovable Hijab customers at Shopee who take part in the Flash Sale program. The independent variables of this research are lifestyle (X1), Flash Sale (X2), and Online Review (X3) as well as the dependent variable Repurchase Intention (Y). The results of this research show that the variables Life Style, Flash Sale, and Online Review have a positive influence on Repurchase Intention for Lovable Hijab on Shopee. The coefficient of determination value is 0.412. This shows that 41.2% of the factors influencing Repurchase Intention can be determined by lifestyle, Flash Sale, and Online Review. Meanwhile, factors not included in this study account for the remaining 58.8%.

Abstract

This paper attempts to find the right concept to overcome the significant challenges related to environmental quality degradation due to development activities in the port area. Environmental damage, including the impact of port development, has become an increasingly pressing global issue. To face this challenge, countries are trying to integrate sustainability principles through the application of the Port Sustainability concept, with an emphasis on the digitalization of information technology. This approach aims to increase port operational efficiency, minimize excessive use of resources, and ensure environmental sustainability and port operations in the long term.Methodology/approach - research method using Conceptual Framework Development. Where researchers try to analyze the literature on sustainable ports, environmental management, and information technology as key elements in sustainable port operations. The result is a conceptual framework that can be used as a basis for implementing further research. Findings – This research presents a theoretical framework and serves as a basis for further research that will analyze the influence of environmental management on sustainable port operations, the impact of environmental management on information technology development, the relationship between information technology development and the sustainability of port operations, as well as the mediating role of information technology in relation to environmental management and sustainability of port operations The novelty/value of this research concept includes the mediation of information technology in relation to environmental management and the sustainability of port operations, especially port operations, where little research has been carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of organizational culture, work environment, and compensation on job satisfaction. The sample in this study were 40 employees, with the data analysis technique used was sequential equation modelling. The study results explain that the influence of organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Work Motivation has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Organization climate, work motivation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to provide new evidence on the comparison of the implementation of Corporate governance on the financial performance of Indonesian and Malaysian Islamic banking from 2016 to 2020. The authors uses multiple regression analysis with samples of Indonesian and Malaysian Islamic banks from 2016 to 2020. The data used are obtained from the financial statements of Indonesian and Malaysian Islamic banks from 2016 to 2020. Financial performance is measured by profitability ratios using return on assets (ROA). CSR from the test results were not able to moderate the financial performance of Indonesian and Malaysian Islamic companies from 2016 to 2020. This study is a comparative study of the effect of the implementation of Corporate governance on the financial performance of Islamic banking companies in Indonesia and Malaysia with CSR as the moderating variable.

Abstract

The conflict between Israel and Palestine has impact on the issue of trust, product boycotts and public awareness to leave pro-Israel products hit the world community, especially the people of Indonesia. Research method the approach used quantitative approach, with population is domestic companies and MSMEs located in Tegal. The sample of 34 respondents with non-probability sampling techniques and accidental sampling methods. The collected priner data will be analyzed statistically using SPSS 25, then analyzed by multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing, namely the t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination. Result the reseach is the Consumer Trust Issue has positive value of 0.979, the t test results with tcount value of 9.817>1.696, significant value of 0.000<0.05, which means H1 is accepted; Boycott Pro-Israel Product has positive value of 0.515, the t test results with tcount value of 2.451>1.696 significant value of 0.020<0.05, which means H2 is accepted; The Brand Awareness has positive value of 0.613; the t test results with tcount value of 2.473>1.696 with significant value of 0.019> 0.05 which means H3 is accepted. The results of the F test obtained an Fcount value of 54.670>2.69 with a significance value of 0.000<0.005, meaning that H4 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Financial Incentives, Non-Financial Incentives, and Employee Performance variables on Employee Job Satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative method where a questionnaire is used to obtain primary data, for samples taken from a private company, using simple random sampling, for data processing and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 23. It was found that it was concluded that Financial Incentives affect Employee Job Satisfaction. Non-Financial Incentives do not affect Employee Job Satisfaction. Employee Performance affects Employee Job Satisfaction. shows that Financial Incentives, Non-Financial Incentives, Employee Performance simultaneously affect Employee Job Satisfaction
