Abstract

This research is driven by a need to gain insight into the key roles that effective leadership plays in achieving optimal performance within teams. In order to fully comprehend the dynamics of team leadership, it is essential to have a robust theoretical and conceptual framework in place. This understanding will help us to identify the factors that influence team performance, and in particular, the role that effective communication, positive feedback, rewards and recognition, and the creation of a supportive work environment plays in motivating teams. In addition, it is vital to consider the key factors that influence the performance of high-functioning teams, which include elements such as team trust, collaboration, effective communication, and leader support. This research employs the methodology of a literature study to ascertain the role of leadership in organizations. In conclusion, team leadership plays an essential role in achieving effective team performance in organizations. By developing a robust theoretical and conceptual framework, leaders can cultivate the practical and strategic insights necessary to lead teams effectively. Effective leaders influence team performance motivation, manage conflict, build cooperation, and create a supportive work environment. The significance of effective team performance is also evidenced by the key factors that influence great team performance. In practice, leaders must be able to apply these insights in a practical manner in order to achieve the desired results.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the work environment and compensation on the performance of employees of the Surya Market Regional Company, Surabaya City. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study were all employees of the Surya Market Regional Company, Surabaya City, totaling 43 employees. The sampling technique uses a saturated sampling method. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires, while the data analysis technique used SEM PLS with Smart PLS software. The results of this research indicate that the work environment has a contribution to the performance of employees of the Surya Market Regional Company, Surabaya City. This is demonstrated by the work environment variance having a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Surya Market Regional Company, Surabaya City. Meanwhile, compensation does not contribute to the performance of employees of the Surabaya City Surya Market Regional Company. This is demonstrated by the compensation variable which has no significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Surya Market Regional Company, Surabaya City.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the palm oil plantation industry and its social impacts on local communities in Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. Palm oil plantations have become an important economic sector in the region, contributing significantly to the local and national economy. However, on the other hand, the expansion of this industry has also given rise to a variety of complex social and environmental problems. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis to examine the socio-economic impacts on local communities. The results show an increase in the economic welfare of local communities through job creation and infrastructure improvements. However, negative impacts such as land conflicts, environmental degradation, and changes in culture and traditional livelihoods were also found. This study underlines the need for more sustainable and equitable policies in the management of palm oil plantations to minimize negative impacts on local communities and the environment in Jambi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between population size, economic growth, education level, and unemployment rate on the poverty level in Tuban Regency. Tuban Regency is a district with a poverty percentage reaching 14.91% in 2022. The researchers used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the population size has a positive effect on the poverty level, economic growth has a negative effect on the poverty level, the education level has a positive effect on the poverty level, and the unemployment rate has a positive effect on the poverty level in Tuban Regency. The data used in this study include secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and other related sources. This research provides significant contributions to understanding the factors influencing poverty in the area, which can serve as a basis for policy formulation to reduce poverty. Potential policies include improving the quality of education, creating new job opportunities, and promoting inclusive economic growth. Improving the quality of education is expected to enhance the skills and competitiveness of the workforce, while the creation of new jobs can reduce the unemployment rate. Inclusive economic growth ensures that the benefits of economic growth are felt by all layers of society, particularly the poor. Therefore, this study offers comprehensive insights into the relationship between these variables and provides policy recommendations that can help reduce the poverty rate in Tuban Regency.

Abstract

This research examines Talent Management in the Digital Era with a focus on the application of technology for recruitment and retention at PT. Arutmin Indonesia. This company has successfully implemented a technology-based talent management strategy using digital platforms, artificial intelligence and data analysis. Recruitment processes, career development and employee retention management through technology have a positive impact on efficiency, effectiveness and employee satisfaction. The research results show that PT. Arutmin Indonesia faces challenges, including employee resistance to technology and data security. Companies address these challenges through technology training, involvement of IT experts, and implementation of strict data security policies. In facing changes in higher education governance, PT. Arutmin Indonesia also implements innovation and change management strategies. Therefore, the conclusion is to increase technology integration, develop data analysis, and strengthen technology-based skills development. The application of intelligent technologies, such as artificial intelligence, may be a future focus for improving talent management. The conclusion confirms that the technological approach to talent management has had a positive impact and provides valuable insights for other companies that wish to involve technology in managing their human resources in the digital era.

Abstract

This research focuses on companies engaged in manufacturing because manufacturing companies are one of the important things for economic growth in Indonesia. Indonesian manufacturing companies are currently not diversified and only export relatively few types of products. This study aims to prove and analyze the relationship between investment decisions, funding decisions, operational decisions, financial distress, GCG on firm value. The sample in this study namelya manufacturing company engaged in the industrial sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with a financial reporting period of 3 years, period 2019 to 2021. Tests were carried out using SmartPLS with an analysis of the outer model test and the inner model test. The research results show that operational decisions have a significant effect on financial distress, operational decisions have a significant effect on firm value andGood Corporate Governance (GCG)on firm value has a significant effect. The relationship of other variables shows no significant results on financial distress and firm value.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has reshaped healthcare, with mobile apps such as Halodoc emerging as key tools for quick and efficient access to medical services and information. However, the success of such health apps depends on customer trust. This study investigated the relationship between social information processing (SIP) theory, perceived usefulness, and customer trust among Halodoc users in Surabaya City using quantitative methods. A total of 157 respondents were sampled, and data analysis was conducted using the SPSS application. The results showed that social information processing and perceived usefulness are simultaneously and partially significant in influencing the development of customer trust, where users assess Halodoc's information features and express satisfaction with its services, which then fosters trust. The findings highlight the importance of social information processing and perceived usefulness in building customer trust, offer insights for increasing trust in healthcare applications and inform marketing and product development strategies in the telemedicine industry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leverage and investment decisions on company value with financial performance as an intervening variable in property, real estate & building construction sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. This type of research is associative clause. The population used in this study are property, real estate & building construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. The type of data used in this study is secondary data and data collection using the documentation method. While taking samples in this study using purposive sampling technique. The research population data totaled 97 companies and obtained a sample of 61 companies so that the research data totaled 204 after going through the outlier test. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the study show that 1.) Leverage has no effect on firm value; 2.) Investment decisions have an effect on firm value; 3.) Leverage has no effect on firm value through financial performance; 4.) Investment decisions have no effect on firm value through financial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the Contribution of the Tourism Sector to Economic Growth in Banyuwangi Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative research with field research type. Field research is one way to collect data directly from the location or object of research. This type of research is generally conducted by observing, interviewing, or measuring and sampling. The location of this research is in Banyuwangi Regency, specifically in the tourist attractions of Pulau Merah Beach and Teluk Hijau. As for the interviewees, they are employees of the Tourism Office and residents around the tourist attractions. The results of this study indicate that the tourism sector is an economic sector that has great potential in contributing to the economic growth of a country and region. Tourism can create jobs, increase foreign exchange earnings, and strengthen local economic growth. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the development of tourism in Banyuwangi Regency contributes to the local economy and community directly.

Abstract

The Objective of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of financial ratios, company size, previous year's audit opinion, and auditor's reputation on going concern audit opinions on mining companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2014-2018. A total of 15 mining companies were studied in this study. The sample selection used purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using logistic regression. The results obtained are simultaneously, liquidity, profitability ratios, leverage ratios, company size, previous year's audit opinion and auditor's reputation affect going concern audit opinions, while partially, liquidity ratios, profitability ratios, leverage ratios, company size and auditor's reputation s have no effect on going concern audit opinion. The previous year's audit opinion has an effect on going concern audit opinion.
