Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effects of service quality, security, and price perception on consumer trust and purchasing decisions on Tokopedia. Additionally, this study also aims to examine the mediating role of consumer trust in the relationship between the variables of service quality, security, price perception, and purchase decisions. The research was conducted in Yogyakarta using the snowball sampling method to select a sample of Tokopedia customers. A total of 250 respondents participated in the study. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires using a Likert scale of 1-5. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method with Smart PLS 3.3.3 software. The results showed that the security variable and price perception significantly influenced consumer trust, while service quality had a significant negative relationship with purchasing decisions. However, the variables of service quality, security, and price perception did not have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Consumer trust was found to mediate the effects of security and price perception on purchasing decisions, but it was unable to mediate the effect of service quality. Overall, Tokopedia needs to improve communication regarding service quality, ensure a high level of security, consider other factors that influence purchasing decisions, and continue to build consumer trust.

Abstract

In line with the automotive industry's unstoppable growth, a pervasive phenomenon of counterfeit lubricants and motorcycle oils circulating in the market has emerged, with some of them increasingly mimicking the appearance of genuine oil products. Counterfeit oil manufacturers not only imitate various characteristics of the packaging but also innovate by replicating the label technology developed by reputable oil brands. This has caused consumers to worry about the quality of the products and lose trust in several well-known oil brands. Therefore, researchers became interested in conducting a study on the variables of Trust and Product Quality influencing repurchase intention. This study utilized a quantitative descriptive research approach and non-probability sampling with a purposive sample strategy among 105 users of Yamalube Oil products in Gresik Regency. All hypotheses in this study were investigated using component-based SEM analysis with PLS. The research instrument in this study was an online questionnaire created using Google Forms. Based on statistical calculations, the researchers found that Trust and product quality significantly effect repurchase intention for Yamalube oil products in Gresik Regency. The results of this study explain that the repurchase intention variable, effected by the independent variables of Trust and Product Quality, accounts for 88,9% of the variance, while the remaining 11,1% is explained by other variables outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

The problem of fiscal deficits in the Indonesian economy has prompted the government to increase debt as a solution to reduce the deficit. Debt withdrawal in the long term without the support of an increase in state revenues has had a negative impact. Government debt increased sharply. Efforts to increase state revenue through tax collection in post-Covid 19 economic conditions that have not yet recovered will only reduce economic activity. This requires efforts to suppress government debt growth amidst a fiscal deficit. This study aims to analyze the effect of foreign direct investment, inflation and the exchange rate on government debt. Foreign direct investment is believed to be a source of financing that cannot be made through state revenue. Especially public infrastructure financing. The study concluded that it was found: foreign direct investment, inflation, and the exchange rate had a significant effect on government debt. Thus, government efforts are needed to encourage the growth of foreign direct investment, through policies that are oriented towards increasing foreign direct investment.
