Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the Constitutional Court's decision on zakat safeguards it from the risk of becoming a commodity and to emphasize that sakti constitutional law must be integrated into zakat management. We employ a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology for PMI studies, following PRISMA criteria. From a total of 84 articles, after filtering and reviewing the abstracts, the database exclusion process left 45 relevant articles, which were divided and analyzed into themes typical of Islamic economics, including zakat management, Islamic law, and zakat protection. This study concludes that the Constitutional Court's ruling had significant positive implications for ensuring zakat as a socioeconomic instrument, thereby protecting it from profit exploitation. On the other hand, mobile applications and blockchain can digitalize zakat and improve its transparency and effectiveness, even though they face implementation challenges. This article emphasizes the state's role in zakat management and how technology can improve zakat administration. This study indicates that stronger government interventions are needed to promote the use of technology and improve zakat governance. Research on zakat, especially in light of the Constitutional Court's decision, should be a very important part of discussions on how to implement it and its regional effects, whilst exploring how digitalization can lead to greater transparency and cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing Subject-Specific Pedagogy (SSP) based on the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework on students' scientific literacy skills in science learning. The study employed a quantitative experimental design with a one-group pre-test–post-test. The participants were students from the Elementary Teacher Education Program at Universitas Muria Kudus, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a scientific literacy test covering scientific knowledge, scientific competence, and contextual understanding. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normalized gain (N-gain), and a paired sample t-test. The results showed that students' scientific literacy skills increased significantly after the implementation of a TPACK-based SSP, as indicated by an improvement in the average score from the medium category in the pre-test to the very high category in the post-test, with an N-gain in the moderate category and a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. These findings indicate that integrating pedagogy, content, and technology through TPACK-based SSP effectively enhances students' scientific literacy. This study contributes to science education by providing empirical evidence that a TPACK-based SSP can be an effective instructional approach to strengthen scientific literacy among pre-service elementary school teachers and to support the development of science learning aligned with the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

Martial arts education is not only a physical training process but also a social learning environment where communication, group interaction, and shared norms shape students' behavior. Within martial arts communities, conformity to group norms may influence how students interpret discipline, courage, and aggression. This study aims to examine the influence of group conformity and demographic characteristics (age and gender) on aggressive behavior among martial arts students in East Java. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from respondents through a validated Likert-scale questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the influence of the independent variables. The findings show that conformity has a negative, statistically significant effect on aggressive behavior, suggesting that adherence to positive group communication norms can reduce aggression. Age shows a positive and significant effect, while gender does not have a significant partial effect. Simultaneously, conformity, age, and gender explain the variance in aggressive behavior. These findings highlight the importance of communication dynamics and positive group norms in martial arts training environments as mechanisms for reducing aggressive tendencies among students.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education based on local potential, specifically mocaf flour production, at PKBM Pondok Roudlotuttholabah, Pemalang Regency. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation involving program managers, tutors, learners, and business partners. The findings indicate that the empowerment strategy is implemented through four stages: planning, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation, which contribute to improving learners’ technical skills, entrepreneurial attitudes, and self-efficacy. The program also enhances learners’ readiness to establish small-scale businesses and strengthens social participation. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of local resource-based entrepreneurship education within non-formal education settings for school dropouts. This study contributes to the development of a contextual empowerment model that supports economic independence and strengthens the role of non-formal education in sustainable community development.

Abstract

Corruption cases continue to occur, potentially eroding social attitudes, including those of students. Therefore, this study aims to explore the influence of anti-corruption education on social attitudes through perceptions of corruption. The research uses a quantitative approach, survey methods, and a causal design. The population comprises 880 private junior high school students in Bekasi Regency, West Java, while the sample consists of 275 students. Sampling was conducted using a random proportional sampling method at each school. Data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire, and analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling approach based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that anti-corruption education negatively affects perceptions of corruption and positively impacts students' social attitudes. Perceptions of corruption negatively affect students' social attitudes and mediate the influence of anti-corruption education on those attitudes. These findings yield new empirical evidence of the mediating role of perceptions of corruption in the causal relationship between anti-corruption education and students' social attitudes. This model makes theoretical contributions to psychology and educational management, particularly in shaping social attitudes through anti-corruption education. Furthermore, it can be used to optimize anti-corruption education as a strategy to prevent corruption and foster positive social attitudes among students.

Abstract

Reading and writing are basic skills that students must master. This study aims to describe the needs for literacy media, develop digital literacy media containing local folktales, and test its effectiveness in improving students' reading and writing skills. This study uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The analysis indicates the need for media that is engaging and aligned with students' characteristics. The developed media was deemed valid by content experts, feasible by media experts, and received very positive responses from teachers and students. The effectiveness test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group's average score was higher than the control group's. These findings indicate that digital media containing local folklore are effective in improving students' reading and writing skills and contribute to learning grounded in local wisdom.

Abstract

This study analyzes elementary school learning needs based on the local potential of the Tuban Mangrove Center to strengthen students' scientific literacy in ecosystem topics. This study was motivated by the persistently low level of students' scientific literacy, largely attributed to concept-oriented instruction that insufficiently contextualizes learning within authentic real-world situations. A qualitative needs analysis design was employed involving six elementary school teachers and three purposively selected mangrove center managers. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of instructional documents. Instrument validity was established through expert judgment, while data trustworthiness was enhanced using source and technique triangulation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that science learning is largely textbook-oriented and has not effectively utilized the environment as a learning resource. Limited laboratory facilities and the absence of contextual teaching materials contribute to low authentic learning experiences. Although the Tuban Mangrove Center has strong potential as a natural laboratory for scientific observation and investigation, its use remains unsystematic. This study highlights the need for structured, contextual learning designs based on local potential to enhance students' scientific literacy and ecological awareness.

Abstract

One of the 21st-century competencies is digital literacy. However, science assessment in junior high schools is less integrated with digital literacy and contextual content. Few studies examine integrating literacy assessment tools with local wisdom and interactive platforms, such as Nearpod. This gap highlights the need for innovative, context-based digital assessment tools. This research aims to develop a digital literacy assessment tool in Nearpod using coconut shell processing on the topic of substances and their transformations. It used a Research and Development (RD) model modified from the Borg and Gall model, with eight phases: needs analysis, planning, instrument design, expert validation, initial revision, small-scale testing, product revision, and large-scale field testing. The tool included a series of multiple-choice items in an interactive Nearpod format. Findings show very high validity. Out of 50 items, 20 of them were valid in the small-scale test and were all valid in the large-scale test. Items were well discriminated and of equal difficulty. By combining locally relevant content with Nearpod-based assessments, this research highlights a previously underexplored area in science assessment, resulting in a culturally meaningful and digitally engaging instrument for junior high school students.

Abstract

Cultural integration in teaching Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) was recognized as a crucial element for developing authentic intercultural competence, particularly in addressing sociocultural adaptation challenges faced by international students. Although the immersion method had been widely acknowledged as a transformative approach, its practical implementation in connecting experiential learning theory with local cultural wisdom still required deeper exploration. Therefore, this study examined the experiential learning practices of BIPA teachers in utilizing cultural immersion to introduce Minangkabau culture to foreign learners in West Sumatra. A mixed-methods approach with a descriptive design was employed. Quantitative data were collected from 48 BIPA teachers through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire, while qualitative data were obtained from observation sheets based on learning practice videos. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis to provide a comprehensive understanding of teaching practices. The findings indicated that experiential and cultural immersion-based BIPA learning had been implemented effectively through structured planning, authentic cultural activities, and the integration of language and culture in real-life contexts. Teachers demonstrated highly positive perceptions of this approach, as reflected in strong student engagement, reflective learning processes, and active language use. However, challenges related to time constraints, limited facilities, and uneven student participation remained evident, suggesting the need for further optimization.
