Abstract

In the era of rapid technological advancement and digitalization, access to financial services has become increasingly easy. This study aims to examine the effects of financial literacy and risk perception on the use of online lending and consumptive behavior, as well as the effect of consumptive behavior on online lending usage, and its mediating role between financial literacy, risk perception, and online lending. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5), with 271 active students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Jambi, selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that financial literacy and risk perception have a negative and significant effect on both consumptive behavior and online lending usage, while consumptive behavior has a positive and significant effect on online lending usage. Furthermore, consumptive behavior partially mediates the relationship between financial literacy and risk perception on the use of online lending. Abstract

The rapid growth of the café industry has intensified competition based on customer experience and emotional relationships. This study aims to examine the effects of brand personality and emotional attachment on customer loyalty at Kafe Senandung. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from 100 respondents and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results indicate that brand personality (β = 0.547; p < 0.05) and emotional attachment (β = 0.441; p < 0.05) have positive and significant effects on customer loyalty. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence customer loyalty (F = 43.807; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination of R² = 0.475. These findings suggest that customer loyalty in local cafés is more effectively developed through emotional attachment reinforced by a consistent brand personality

Abstract

Profitability is one of the key indicators in assessing a company's financial performance, particularly for distribution companies that rely on sales effectiveness and accounts receivable management. This research aims to analyze the influence of sales and accounts receivable on profitability at CV. Dima Mandiri Sejahtera. Specifically, this study examines the significant influence of sales on profitability, the significant influence of accounts receivable on profitability, and the simultaneous significant influence of sales and accounts receivable on company profitability. The study population consisted of 476 stores, with a sample of 134 obtained through purposive sampling and non-probability sampling techniques. The research approach uses a quantitative method with a ratio measurement scale. Data was obtained from the company's sales and accounts receivable reports, which were then analyzed using the Statistical Product and Services Solution (SPSS) version 22 application. The research results indicate that sales have a more significant impact on profitability compared to accounts receivable. Meanwhile, the influence of accounts receivable on profitability was found to be smaller. This finding indicates that improved corporate profitability can be achieved by strengthening sales activities and more efficiently managing receivables to maintain cash flow stability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of trust as a mediating variable in the relationship between green marketing and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions for Mi Lemonilo. This research is motivated by increasing public awareness of the importance of products that support a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, so that companies are required to implement green marketing strategies and maintain optimal product quality to build trust and encourage consumer purchasing decisions. The approach used in this study is quantitative with the Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) data analysis method. The results show that green marketing and product quality have a positive and significant influence on trust and purchasing decisions. In addition, trust is proven to be able to mediate the influence of green marketing and product quality on purchasing decisions, thereby strengthening the relationship between these variables. This research provides strategic implications for companies in designing green marketing strategies, improving product quality, and building consumer trust to improve purchasing decisions. Abstract

This study uses desk research methodology to examine asset and liability management in Islamic banks. The main objective of this study is to understand the principles and mechanisms of asset and liability management, the differences between Islamic banks and conventional banks, the workings and efficiency of asset and liability management, and the risks and difficulties faced by Islamic banks. The research findings show that Islamic banks handle assets and liabilities in accordance with sharia principles such as the prohibition of usury and over- speculation, using sharia channels such as murabahah, mudarabah, and ijarah. The differences with conventional banks are mostly found in the operational and revenue streams. Islamic banking generally aims to achieve optimal efficiency in managing assets and liabilities, despite various risks and challenges such as adverse economic conditions and conflicts with conventional banks. Therefore, the management of assets and liabilities in Islamic banks has unique characteristics that necessitate the development of specialized lending strategies to achieve stability and efficiency. Abstract

Abstract Employees at PT Masyithah Yarsi Sumbar Cleaning Service Department at Ibnu Sina Hospital Bukittinggi experienced significant variation in achieving monthly performance targets. Some months their performance showed quite good improvement, but in certain months there was a significant decline. There was a low desire from some employees to achieve the targets that had been set, which may be caused by unclear direction and support from the leadership, as well as inadequate incentives. This study aims to examine the effect of leadership and incentives on the performance of employees of PT Masyithah Yarsi Sumbar Cleaning Service Department at Ibnu Sina Hospital Bukittinggi. This study used quantitative methods. The type of data in this study is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees of PT Masyithah Yarsi Sumbar Cleaning Service Department at Ibnu Sina Hospital Bukittinggi. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling; the number of employees sampled in this study was 33 people who used the accounting information system. The analysis technique uses a test tool with the help of SmartPLS software version 3. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing that have been described in the research results, it shows that leadership has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, and incentives have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The digital era demands that every company integrate technology into its work systems. Society 5.0, with its people-centered approach, advocates leveraging technology to achieve employee well-being. The reality on the ground suggests the opposite: digitalization is actually leading to employee bore-out, a phenomenon researchers call the "digitalization paradox." The study aims to uncover whether the implementation of digitalization for bank employees will lead to positive outcomes or instill bore-out. This phenomenological study examined 12 bank employees with varying positions, length of service, and ages. The analysis used interpretive phenomenological analysis with the aid of coding through NVIVO. The results show that, based on three dimensions of bore-out, digitalization diminishes the meaning of work because high efficiency creates unproductive free time. Employees feel the technology they use in their tasks is no longer suited to their capabilities, especially long-serving employees with extensive experience and knowledge. Employees admit their work is boring. Furthermore, an unclear promotion system increases employee sentiment due to the mismatch between expectations and reality. The findings demonstrate that the researchers' notion of the digitalization paradox requires alignment with job design and employee capacity to avoid the "bored-out" syndrome described in the study. These findings cannot be generalized, as the concept of "bored-out" is still premature. Further, in-depth and specific studies are needed to more comprehensively uncover this paradox.

Abstract

Sustainable development requires development planning that integrates economic, social, and environmental dimensions while remaining adaptive to future uncertainties. Strategic planning plays a crucial role in guiding long-term policies to address challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation, and global development dynamics. This study aims to examine key approaches and challenges in strategic planning for sustainable development using a systematic literature review (SLR). The review applies the PRISMA framework to academic publications from 2011–2025 obtained from Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and ProQuest. The findings indicate that strategic planning approaches have evolved in a multidisciplinary manner, including quantitative SWOT analysis, spatial modeling and GIS, stochastic optimization, nature-based solutions, and information technology integration. However, their implementation faces persistent challenges, such as limited institutional capacity, weak cross-sectoral coordination, data constraints, low public participation, and environmental and climate uncertainty. This study highlights the need for adaptive, evidence-based, and collaborative strategic planning to effectively support sustainable development goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how customer satisfaction at Yasmin Salon in Bangkinang City is impacted by service quality. Customers of Yasmin Salon are given questionnaires as part of this study's quantitative survey strategy, which collects data. 97 individuals were randomly selected to participate in this study as respondents. Simple linear regression analysis was used to examine the gathered data. The findings of the study demonstrate that customer happiness is significantly impacted by service quality.Aspects of service quality such as reliability, responsiveness, certainty, empathy, and physical evidence all contribute positively to customer satisfaction. The conclusion of this research is that improving the quality of service at Yasmin Salon can increase the level of customer satisfaction, which in turn can increase customer loyalty and trust in the services provided by the salon.

Abstract

This study aims to descriptively analyze work motivation, competence, work engagement, and the performance of teachers and supervisors at Insan Cendekia Boarding School (ICBS) Harau Payakumbuh. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a total of 211 respondents. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistical techniques, including mean scores and class interval categorization. The results indicate that, in general, work motivation, competence, work engagement, and the performance of teachers and supervisors fall into the good category. However, several indicators related to welfare and professional development remain in the fairly good category, particularly those concerning allowances, future security, and the production of scientific publications. These findings provide managerial implications for educational institution administrators in formulating sustainable human resource management policies.
