Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of production costs, land area, and selling prices on the income of oil palm farmers in Rambah Jaya Village. This study applies a quantitative approach by collecting primary data through distributing questionnaires to 50 oil palm farmers who were used as respondents. The sampling technique was carried out using the simple random sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using data quality tests, descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing processed using the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that partially production costs do not significantly affect the income of oil palm farmers, while land area and selling prices have a positive and significant effect on the income of oil palm farmers. Simultaneously, production costs, land area, and selling prices together have a significant effect on the income of oil palm farmers. This study is expected to be a consideration for farmers and related parties in efforts to increase income.

Abstract

This study aims to determine or how to see the influence of promotions and product quality on impulsive purchases at my Dimsum shop in Pasir Pengaraian. This study was conducted using a purposive sampling method, the population in this study were buyers of my dimsum shop, the sample used in this study was 155 people. The variables in this study consisted of 2 independent variables, namely Promotion, as a variable (X1), Product Quality as a variable (X2), and the dependent variable, namely Impulsive Purchase as a variable (Y). The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data analysis used the SmartPLS 4.1.9.2 program. The results obtained in this study are, the independent variable Promotion is proven to have a significant effect on the dependent variable Impulsive Purchase, the independent variable product quality is proven to have a significant effect on the dependent variable impulsive purchase. Then it can be seen that both independent variables studied simultaneously affect the dependent variable impulsive purchase. My dimsum shop needs to maintain or improve promotions and product quality so that consumers or customers always buy dimsum products at my Dimsum shop in Pasir Pengaraian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality of tofu businesses on customer satisfaction in Koto Tinggi Village. The phenomenon found in the field shows that the price of tofu is not commensurate with the quality of tofu products that often change, such as texture, taste, and aroma of tofu, which often affects customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is an important factor in maintaining business continuity. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive with multiple linear regression analysis techniques assisted by SPSS software version 21. The population in this study were all consumers of tofu businesses in Koto Tinggi Village with a sample size of 110 respondents. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique where the sample was selected based on criteria determined by the researcher. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that price has a positive effect on customer satisfaction of tofu businesses in Koto Tinggi Village. The variable of product quality also has a positive effect on customer satisfaction of tofu businesses in Koto Tinggi Village. Simultaneously, price and product quality influence customer satisfaction of tofu businesses in Koto Tinggi Village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality on consumer purchasing interest at Grosir Ferry in Pasir Pengaraian. Increasingly tight competition in the grocery retail business requires businesses to set appropriate prices and maintain product quality to attract and maintain consumer purchasing interest. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of 97 respondents who were Grosir Ferry consumers. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. Data testing included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, coefficient of determination tests, and partial and simultaneous hypothesis tests. The results of the study indicate that price influences consumer purchasing interest, product quality influences consumer purchasing interest, and price and product quality simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer purchasing interest at Grosir Ferry in Pasir Pengaraian. The results of this study indicate that appropriate pricing and maintained product quality can increase consumer purchasing interest. This study is expected to be a consideration for Grosir Ferry managers in developing pricing strategies and improving product quality to increase consumer purchasing interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector in increasing community income in Serombou Indah Village, Rambah Hilir District. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study amounted to 15 MSMEs in the culinary sector who run businesses in Serombou Indah Village. The results of the study indicate that MSMEs in the culinary sector have a significant role in increasing community income. Culinary MSMEs are able to create small-scale employment opportunities by involving family members and the surrounding environment, encourage economic development through business development efforts, and create economic equality by utilizing local raw materials. In addition, income obtained from culinary MSMEs is able to meet the household needs of business actors, both as a primary and additional source of income, and contribute to the village economic cycle. Thus, MSMEs in the culinary sector play a role as one of the drivers of the village economy in increasing community income in Serombou Indah Village, Rambah Hilir District, although they still face limitations in capital and marketing.

Abstract

The phenomenon found in the field shows that although tilapia is one of the fishery commodities that is in high demand by the public, tilapia purchasing decisions show a complex interaction between price, product quality and purchasing decisions. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques assisted by SPSS version 21 software. The population in this research is all tilapia buyers in Koto Tinggi Village. The sample determination is carried out using the Accidental sampling technique, while the number of samples is calculated using the Hair et al formula, resulting in 110 research subjects. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and distribution of questionnaires to tilapia buyers in Koto Tinggi Village who are used as research subjects. The collected data is then analyzed to determine the impact of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of the research show that price has a positive and significant impact on tilapia purchasing decisions in Koto Tinggi Village. Furthermore, product quality has also been shown to have a positive and significant impact on tilapia purchasing decisions in Koto Tinggi Village. Simultaneously, price and product quality have a positive and significant impact on tilapia purchasing decisions in Koto Tinggi Village.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of product quality and price on consumer preferences for Mas Adi's broiler chicken in DU SKPA Village. Empirical phenomena in the field indicate that there are differences in consumer preferences in choosing where to buy broiler chicken in DU SKPA Village. Consumers tend to prefer buying broiler chicken from Mas Adi's business compared to other sellers because they consider the quality of the product and the price offered. This study uses a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression analysis method processed using SPSS version 21 software. The study population includes all consumers of Mas Adi's broiler chicken in DU SKPA Village, whose number is unknown. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling, with the number of samples determined based on the formula of Hair et al., resulting in 140 respondents. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to consumers of Mas Adi's broiler chicken who served as research respondents. The collected data were then analyzed to identify the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of the analysis indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer preferences for Mas Adi's broiler chicken in DU SKPA Village. In addition, price has also been shown to have a positive and significant effect on consumer preferences. Simultaneously, the product quality and price variables have a positive and significant effect on consumer preferences for Mas Adi's broiler chicken in DU SKPA Village.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure on Return on Equity (ROE) in Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. Capital structure is measured using the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Long-Term Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER), while ROE is used as a profitability indicator. The study population includes all Food and Beverage companies listed during the period, using a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria. The data used are secondary data from the company's annual financial statements. The analysis was conducted quantitatively using SmartPLS with the PLS-SEM approach to test the validity, reliability, and partial effect of independent variables on ROE. The results show that capital structure has an effect on ROE. Partially, only LDER has a significant effect on ROE, so long-term debt management is a more determining factor in influencing the level of return on equity than the overall debt structure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze cash management and cash flow in the culinary sector of MSMEs in Rambah Hilir District, using Nanin's Cake as a case study. The main problems encountered are the lack of a structured financial recording system, the mixing of personal and business cash, and the lack of regular cash flow reports. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology, collecting data through documentation, interviews, and observations. The findings indicate that cash management is still carried out simply and manually, potentially causing cash flow instability, especially when there is an increase in raw material expenditure. This study recommends the implementation of more systematic financial recording, the separation of personal and business cash, and the preparation of regular cash flow reports to maintain business stability and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and inclusion on the sustainability of food vendors' businesses at Pasir Pengaraian Modern Market, Rokan Hulu Regency. The survey research method uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 400 food vendors at Pasir Pengaraian Modern Market, while the sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique of 80 respondents. The research data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The discussion of the research results shows that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on business sustainability, meaning that the better the ability of business actors to understand and manage finances, the greater the business's opportunity to survive and grow. Financial inclusion also has a positive and significant effect on business sustainability, indicating that access to formal financial services makes it easier for business actors to obtain capital and manage business transactions more effectively. The conclusion of this study is that financial literacy and financial inclusion, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on the sustainability of food vendors' businesses at Pasir Pengaraian Modern Market, Rokan Hulu Regency. Thus, improving financial literacy and expanding financial inclusion are important factors in supporting the sustainability of traders' businesses.
