Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this service aims to increase sales of bird cages to the Budi Sangka craftsman group. The Budi Sangkar craftsmen group is a group of bird cage craftsmen who are located in Banjarsari Village, Ajibarang, Banyumas. This service is carried out by accompanying and training the Budi Sangkar craftsman group in terms of management, digital marketing, and advertising/promotion style to increase the sales of the craftsmen group during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: This service uses a methodology that is divided into 3 steps:1) team coordination with partners, 2) training and mentoring, and 3) monitoring and evaluation. Result: The result of the services show that partner’s sales and profit increased by doing: 1) counseling on management, 2) training on making marketing plans, 3) training on managing good human resources so that motivation and performance increase, 4) training and digital marketing assistance through social media and e-commerce, 5) training on promotional diction or language style in marketing/advertising/promotion that is appropriate and appropriate for HR to improve speaking and writing skills in promoting their craft, 6) training and assistance in managing social media, 7) training and assistance in making promotional flyers so that improve the company's brand image. Limitation: The limitation of this service has not been carried out continuously and requires continuity of mentoring activity. Contribution: The contribution is increasing the partner’s sales and profits.

Abstract

Purpose: The research departs from the problem of the need for more understanding of students majoring in Islamic accounting regarding the use of social theory (ethnomethodology) for the study of cultural accounting. This is reflected, among others, that there are still many students majoring in Sharia accounting who have yet to be able to complete their studies on time. This study aims to increase the understanding of students majoring in Islamic accounting about the ethnomethodology approach, especially the use of this approach in cultural accounting research. Methodology: There are three methods in the implementation of the training. First, the presentation of ethnomethodology, which includes the definition of ethnomethodology, indexicality data analysis techniques, and reflexivity data analysis techniques, and giving examples of the use of ethnomethodology in everyday life. Second, giving examples of cultural accounting research using an ethnomethodology approach that has been published in nationally accredited journals, there are three examples of previous research provided, namely research published in Sinta journals. Third, training on the use of ethnomethodology for accounting research. Results: Corrupt behavior among regional elites still occurs because The training results show an increase in the understanding of students majoring in Islamic accounting about the use of ethnomethodology for cultural accounting research. Furthermore, students have used this approach in cultural accounting research. Conclusion: through this activity, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' understanding of the use of an ethnomethodological approach to cultural accounting research

Abstract

Purpose: MSME Mr. Takoyaki is to encourage business actors to reveal their potential so that they are able to create and develop their business which is located at Jalan Kemantren Tulangan Sidoarjo. Methodology: This research uses qualitative methods, which focus more on conducting in-depth understanding by examining problems specifically The MSMEs that we assist are MSME Result: Mr. Takoyaki which is located at Jalan Kemantren Reinforcement, Sidoarjo. The results of Mr. Takoyaki's MSME assistance are improvements to product packaging, product labels, payment systems, and marketing. Efforts to develop MSMEs in Indonesia are one aspect that is of concern to the government in economic development. MSME mentoring by students is one of the community service activities, based on a survey conducted there are several problems that must be developed so that MSMEs can develop gradually, therefore MSME owners need to be equipped with knowledge and socialization about good digital marketing service activities. community service is part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, therefore it must be carried out both for each student and for the Implementation Team to carry out this service consisting of Management students at the Faculty of Economics, Nahdatul Ulama University. Conclusions: The goals to be achieved in this activity are: Improving MSMEs Mr. Takoyaki Mr.s. Eni Rahmawati so that the payment system for Mr. Takoyaki is more updated, determining Google Maps so that consumers can find out where Mr. Takoyaki is, and is better known by consumers with a wider range.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to find out how to make Trigona Sp beehives using non-B3 solid waste in the form of used PMK pipes and tank plates and to see the savings and handling of household waste handled by Trigona Sp beehives made from PMK pipes. Apart from that, through this research we can also see the contribution of the KTH Aok group in utilizing household waste in the form of used cooking oil in the Dul village area as a natural pesticide. Methodology: The method used in this research is a case study where direct observations are made of the innovations implemented at KTH Aok and will be explained using qualitative descriptive methods. This research will be carried out in the cultivation garden of the Community Empowerment Program run by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Pangkal Balam "Aok Bee Farm" in Dul Village, Pangkalan Baru Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Result: non-B3 solid waste in the form of PMK pipes and tank plates can be used as stands for Trigona Sp beehives which are sturdier and more resistant to unpredictable weather. To make it, simply cut the used PMK pipe and tank plate according to the specified size, then weld the cut pipe and plate to join the two parts together until it is finished and can be used as a tool for Trigona Sp bee nests. Through this tool, we can handle Non-B3 waste as well as household waste in the form of used cooking oil which is placed in a container in this tool which is useful for pesticides for pests that attack bee colonies. Conclusion: By using this innovative Trigona Sp beehive holder, you can handle non-B3 solid waste in the form of used PMK pipes and tank plates by cutting and shaping them in such a way that it becomes a holder that can place Trigona Sp beehives.

Abstract

Purpose: The contribution of this activity is that these young Entrepreneurs can be more creative in increasing product value. With creativity in the technique of making logos on packaging and photography products techniques, it is hoped that it will be able to increase consumer awareness and interest in buying these products so that they can increase sales. Methodology/approach: This community service activity is carried out through various stages, namely observations and interviews with target participants regarding the efforts that have been implemented and the obstacles faced as material or ideas for community service themes, then the service team offers solutions to the problems faced. Then the service team provided material related to making logos on packaging and photography techniques. Followed by the Coaching Clinic Method in the form of assistance in creating logos and product photography techniques. Results/findings: Based on the results of the logo work that has been created by the training participants, it can be seen that the participants have been able to master attractive packaging techniques by creating logos using color and typography. Also in terms of product photography techniques, participants have been able to master interesting product photography techniques, taking photos from good angles, good lighting techniques, and using supporting materials that support the quality of attractive product photography. Limitation: Through online marketing, the level of consumer awareness of these beverage products increases, thereby increasing sales levels. Contribution: The contribution of this activity is that after attending the training and coaching clinic, young Lampung entrepreneurs can be more creative in designing logos on packaging and making attractive photography so they can create attractive promotional designs through online marketing, namely WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to review customer satisfaction at the Cipta Usaha Mandiri Cooperative. Methodology/approach: This research applies a qualitative case study method using service quality to measure customer satisfaction at the Cipta Usaha Mandiri Cooperative. Results/findings: The results of the research and discussion show that one of the indicators of service quality is responsiveness, the importance of employees' willingness and ability to help customers and respond to their requests, so employees must serve customers quickly so that customers feel satisfied and if they are satisfied, customers will return for more information. use the services of the Cipta Usaha Mandiri Cooperative. One indicator of service quality is reliability which refers to discipline, the importance of time discipline in working to increase customer satisfaction because it can have a positive impact on customer satisfaction. If employees are disciplined on time when billing customers, the customer will certainly be ready to prepare funds to pay the bill, so that the customer will feel satisfied with the services at the Cipta Usaha Mandiri Cooperative. Limitation: The limitations of this research were that the research time was 3 month and the number of respondents was 20, which was considered insufficient. Contribution: Its contribution is to increase customer satisfaction and increase customer members.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this community service activity is, among other things, as a form of education for students and youth as part of the millennial generation by providing knowledge and understanding of Sharia economics and Sharia economic literacy. Apart from that, it can be a stimulus for the attitudes of students and youth towards Sharia economic development trends. Methodology/approach: The form of implementation of this Sharia economic education activity is socialization using lecture and discussion methods to explain material regarding Sharia economics to participants, followed by a question and answer/discussion session between the presenter and service participants. Conclusion: The community service activity program (PKM) through Sharia economic education was implemented well. In conclusion, educational participants have an understanding of the basic concepts of Sharia economics. After participants received material regarding Sharia economics and Sharia economic literacy, they showed increased understanding. Participants had high enthusiasm and responses to the service activities. They hope that there will be discussions regarding Sharia economics more broadly to enrich scientific knowledge. Results/findings: The aim of the service activity was for discussion participants to gain new knowledge regarding the importance of Sharia economics. Students and young people realize that, in fact, Islamic economics is a science that is not only concerned with worldly life but also the life of the afterlife. Limitations: This study focuses on education by attempting to provide an understanding of the fundamentals of the Sharia economy. Contribution: This program serves as a reference for other academics to provide basic understanding (education) to students and youth in the West Lombok district.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the process by which students in the Islamic Social Sciences (IIS) class of MAN 2 South OKU, Indonesia view higher education as important. It explores the factors and influences that shape students’ decisions about pursuing further studies after high school. Methodology/approach: A qualitative approach is likely to be employed, potentially utilizing interviews or focus group discussions with students, teachers, and possibly school officials. Result: This study is expected to reveal factors influencing students' decisions to pursue higher education, such as parental expectations, career aspirations, and exposure to university representatives. Additionally, it may identify methods used to instill the value of higher education within the IIS class, such as the school curriculum, guest lectures, or peer pressure. Contribution: This study can contribute to understanding how schools socialize students towards higher education, particularly within Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The findings can inform educators and policymakers on effective strategies to promote continued education among students in such contexts.

Abstract

Purpose:  The purpose of this community service was to empower women, specifically the members of PKK Desa Purworejo, Kecamatan Negeri Katon, and Pesawaran, by enhancing their public speaking skills. The program aimed to improve students’ knowledge, confidence, and ability to speak effectively in public, enabling them to play a more significant role in their community. Methodology:  The service was conducted in Desa Purworejo, Kecamatan Negeri Katon, Pesawaran, and involved 30 participants from the local PKK organization. Training was facilitated by a team from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Lampung. The methodology included lectures, discussions, and practical exercises for public-speaking techniques. To evaluate the effectiveness of the training, pre- and post-test assessments were administered to measure the participants' improvement in knowledge and skills. Results:  The results of the pre- and post-test evaluations indicated a significant increase in the participants' public speaking abilities. The average pre-test score was 54.83, which improved to 81.5 in the post-test, reflecting an average increase of 26.67 points. Participants not only gained a better understanding of effective communication techniques but also demonstrated increased confidence in applying these skills in practice. Limitations: The program was limited by the small number of participants (30) and its short duration, which may have impacted the long-term retention and application of skills. Contribution: The training program successfully enhanced the participants’ public speaking skills, contributing to their empowerment as active community members. The involvement of local partners and a tailored approach to the community's needs were key factors in the programme’s success. This initiative highlights the potential for expanding similar programs to other communities, promoting sustainable empowerment for women across the region.

Abstract

Purpose:  To address the issue of high lime content in groundwater in Laren Village, making it unsuitable for consumption, BUMDes Jaya Abadi implemented several innovations to improve clean water access. Research Methodology: This qualitative case study uses a phenomenological approach, exploring innovations through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Key informants included BUMDes managers, local residents, and government officials. Results: The innovations increased clean water production from 10 m³ to 30 m³ per day and raised village revenue by 20 million rupiah annually. The adoption of solar-powered pumps and nanotechnology-based filtration reduced environmental impact by minimizing reliance on fossil fuels and harmful chemicals. Conclusions: The study highlights the importance of technological and managerial innovations in rural water management and provides a replicable model for other villages. Limitations: The study is limited by its focus on a single village and the short timeframe for assessing long-term impacts. Contribution: This study contributes to the broader discourse on sustainable rural development and the role of local enterprises in addressing water scarcity.
