Abstract

Perilaku altruisme pada siswa sudah mengalami kemunduran terhadap isu-isu yang terjadi di kehidupan sehari-hari yang salah satunya pada tingkat sekolah menengah pertama. Hal ini terlihat bahwasanya terdapat siswa di sekolah yang tidak membantu temannya ketika sedang mengalami kesusahan. Altruisme diartikan sebagai suatu pertolongan yang diberikan secara murni, tulus dan tanpa mengharapkan timbal balik atau balasan dari orang lain dan juga tidak memberikan manfaat apapun bagi dirinya sendiri. Perilaku altruisme dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor internal salah satunya adalah jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku altruisme ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI MTsN 6 Kota Padang yang populasi dari penelitian berjumlah 771 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 264 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu independent sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 20.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa MTsN 6 Kota Padang terdapat perbedaan perilaku altruisme bila ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Dimana F = 3,108 dengan p = 0,00 < 0,05 artinya ada perbedaan perilaku altruisme siswa ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Dimana perempuan lebih tinggi perilaku altruismenya dibandingkan laki-laki. Dari hasil penelitian ini yitu terdapat perbedaan perilaku altruisme ditinjau dari jenis kelamin di MTsN 6 Kota Padang.

Abstract

Marriages that occur between husband and wife who do not live together or live in two different areas are called long distance marriages. Long-distance marriage relationships require trust and confidence in the partner so as not to cause conflict in the marriage. The initial phenomenon in the field is that there are wives who have low subjective well-being when undergoing long distance marriages. The aim of this research is to describe the subjective well-being of wives who undergo long-distance marriages on the cognitive and affective aspects. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The population in this study were wives who underwent long distance marriages in Sasak Ranah Pasisie District with a sample of 72 people, who were selected by total sampling technique. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire using a Likert scale model. The results of this study revealed that in general, the subjective well-being of wives undergoing long-distance marriages in Sasak Ranah Pasisie District was in the moderate category with a percentage of 52.8%. Based on the subjective well-being aspect, it is categorized: (1) the cognitive aspect is in the high category with a percentage of 56.9%, (2) the affective aspect is in the medium category with a percentage of 44.4%. So it can be interpreted that wives who undergo long distance marriages have quite good subjective well-being. The results of this study can be used as input for counselors to provide premarital counseling and family counseling, and are expected to be able to provide counseling services to clients undergoing long distance marriage who have problems related to low subjective well-being through individual counseling and information services.

Abstract

Interest in continuing higher education is a desire that comes from within students, which is accompanied by determination and effort. Interests have a very important role in a person's life and have a big impact on his attitude and behavior. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest of SMK students to continue their education to tertiary institutions. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study were 7 people, 3 main subjects namely vocational students who had an interest in continuing their education in tertiary institutions, 4 informants consisting of parents and teachers using the Snowball Sampling technique. The instruments in this study were interview guides, observations , recording equipment and documentation, while the analysis of the data that has been obtained from the results of the interviews, is then used as a transcript, coded, and given a theme as a result of the findings and after that the data is interpreted. The results of the study show that there are two factors that influence the interest of vocational students in continuing their education to tertiary institutions, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors that influence the interest of vocational students to continue their education to tertiary institutions are attention, desire, motivation and needs. While the external factors are encouragement from parents, encouragement from peers, encouragement from teachers, availability of facilities and infrastructure, and environmental conditions.

Abstract

Masalah perencanaan karier yang dihadapi siswa sendiri yaitu kurangnya motivasi siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bimbingan karier di SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, bagaimana perencanaan karier siswa di SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, dan apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara bimbingan karier dengan perencanaan karier siswa di SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XII SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang berjumlah 221 orang. Sampel yang diterapkan dengan cara teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 142 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket bimbingan karier dan angket perencanaan karier. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) gambaran bimbingan karier siswa SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman lebih banyak pada kategori baik, (2) gambaran perencanaan karier yang disiapkan oleh siswa SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman lebih banyak pada kategori baik, (3) terdapat hubungan positif bimbingan karier dengan perencanaan karier siswa SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman sebesar 0.844 dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 dan nilai Pearson Correlation yaitu 1.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that many students feel that their current majors are not in accordance with their desires. This happens because of the supporting factors in choosing a major. The supporting factors in choosing the major include internal factors consisting of (1) talent, (2) interest, (3) motivation and external factors consisting of (1) the role of parents, (2) peers, (3) society. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The research sample amounted to 115 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire of supporting factors in choosing a Guttman Scale model major. The results showed that internal factors were in the high category, consisting of talent in the medium category, interest in the high category, and motivation in the medium category, while external factors were in the medium category, consisting of parental role factors in the high category, peer factors in the medium category, and community factors in the medium category.

Abstract

Bullying adalah keinginan untuk mendominasi orang lain dan menyerang secara psikologis atau fisik terhadap individu atau kelompok yang lebih lemah. Perilaku bullying tidak boleh dibiarkan begitu saja, hal ini harus ditangani oleh pelaku dan korban. Untuk mengatasi perilaku bullying di sekolah, diperlukan adanya upaya dari pihak sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya personel sekolah dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 orang personel sekolah yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, perwakilan siswa, wali kelas, guru PPKN dan guru BK. Subyek penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara mengenai upaya personel sekolah dalam menangani perilaku bullying siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik dengan cara memverifikasi transkrip wawancara. Penelitian ini dibantu dengan perekam suara pada smartphone. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying di SMA N 1 Lubuk Sikaping yaitu bullying verbal, bullying fisik, dan bullying sosial. Upaya yang dilakukan personel sekolah dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying siswa adalah dengan menempelkan poster edukasi, memberikan edukasi pada saat kegiatan sekolah, termasuk permasalahan bullying dalam kegiatan wali kelas, teguran langsung, penanganan yang dilakukan oleh guru pembimbing dan kerjasama dengan pihak luar.

Abstract

Groups are an integral part of students' daily lives, and activities carried out in groups can make students into individuals who have the ability to interact, communicate, and work together to achieve the same goals. However, in reality, there are still students who reduce their efforts to be involved in group activities. This reduced effort is an individual's tendency to engage in social loafing or social laziness. This study aims to describe students' social loafing behavior in several aspects: (1) motivation, (2) activity, (3) responsibility, (4) dompleng (a free ride), and (5) responses to evaluations from other people. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study was 645 students in grades XI and XII at SMAN 16 Padang for the 2021/2022 academic year and a sample of 250 students. sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The collection of data for this study used a behavioral questionnaire on social loafing in students of SMAN 16 Padang. The results of this study indicate that the social loafing behavior of SMAN 16 Padang students is in the moderate category. The results of research on the social loafing behavior of students at SMAN 16 Padang can be seen in detail as follows: (1) The social loafing behavior of students seen from the motivational aspect is in the low category; (2) students' social loafing behavior seen from the aspect of liveliness is in the medium category; (3) students' social loafing behavior seen from the aspect of responsibility is in the medium category; (4) students' social loafing behavior seen from the dompleng aspect is in the medium category; and (5) students' social loafing behavior seen from the aspect of the response to the evaluation is in the medium category.

Abstract

This study was inspired by a real-world incident that occurred in a school when 5 to 10 children frequently showed up late for class. There are students in and out during class hours and break times. During the flag ceremony, there were still some children who were not fully dressed and noisy. This happened because of the following factors: (1) the similarity of parental punishments; (2) group-approved changes; (3) socio-economic conditions of the family; (4) the concept of the role of parents as adults; (5) student behavior; and (6) unexpected events. The research was conducted at SMA N 3 Sawahlunto. This study uses a quantitative descriptive methodology. 30 people make a research sample. The survey is the instrument used. Factors causing student disobedience Likert scale model. Based on the findings, the high category consists of behavior similar to how parents discipline their children in the medium category, group-acceptable adjustments in the high category, family socio-economic status in the very high category, the concept of the role of adults in the high category, state behavior students in the moderate category, and sudden situations in the high category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many obstacles or difficulties students encounter during the learning process. After carrying out the learning process within a certain period of time, the results are obtained, the results of these achievements are referred to as learning achievement, one of the factors that influence learning achievement is academic resilience. The purpose of this research is to test whether there is a significant influence between academic resilience and student achievement at SMA N 11 Padang. The type of research used is correlational quantitative. The sample of this research was the students of SMA N 11 Padang, totaling 255 people who were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used is the scale of academic resilience and learning achievement. Data were analyzed using descriptive and regression analysis techniques. The results of the study revealed that there was a significant influence between academic resilience and student achievement as seen from the Anova F table, the count was 13.242 and a significance of 0.000 which means <0.05.

Abstract

Bullying is a hurtful behavior carried out repeatedly by a strong party against a weak party, the aim is to control and provide physical and verbal assault treatment, so that later it will cause physical and psychological pain. one of the factors that influence bullying is perception. students who have negative social perceptions of students with special needs  will carry out acts of bullying. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach. the population in the study amounted to 536 students of SMP 5 Padang who perceived students with special needs negatively so that they carried out acts of bullying against students with special needs using a stratified random sampling technique. data collection using product moment correlation formula. the results of this study found: 1. social perceptions of students with special needs are in the medium category with a percentage of 47.82%, 2. bullying is in a very low category with a percentage of 32.17%, 3. there is a negative and significant relationship between social perceptions of students with special needs with bullying, with rho=-0.233 and a significance level of 0.000
