Abstract

This research aims to investigate the strategic role of the Khaibar and Wadi Al-Qura wars in the spread of Islam in the early days of Islam. The research method used is literature study, with a focus on analyzing various aspects such as military, diplomacy, economics and culture. The main objective of the research is to understand how these wars influenced the strengthening of the military position of Muslims, handling ethnoreligious conflicts, strengthening the economy, expanding Muslim recruitment, the importance of diplomacy in agreements, and the continuation of Islamic da'wah. Literature studies were carried out by identifying, selecting and analyzing literary sources relevant to the Khaibar and Wadi Al-Qura wars. An in-depth analysis of the literature's content provides a holistic insight into the impact of these wars on the spread of Islam in the Arab region at that time. The research results show that the Khaibar and Wadi Al-Qura wars played an important role in strengthening the military position of Muslims, providing examples in handling ethnoreligious conflicts, strengthening the economy, expanding Muslim recruitment, and proving the importance of diplomacy in forming agreements that support the peaceful spread of Islam.

Abstract

Understanding of mathematical concepts is still low among students at both primary and secondary levels. The use of a learning approach must be the main concern to obtain a good understanding of the concept. This research is to find out whether students' understanding of mathematical concepts is taught using an understanding of mathematical concepts taught using a conventional approach. The population in this study was all 30 class XI PAB HELVETIA students. Class sampling was carried out using a random sampling technique which began with testing class equality. Data was collected using instruments in the form of descriptions and using test techniques. The results of the research show that students' understanding of mathematical concepts taught using a conventional approach is still not good for students' understanding in learning geometry.

Abstract

This research explores the use of digital learning media as a means of increasing students' creativity in solving mathematics problems. Conventional teaching methods are often inadequate to develop students' creative abilities in solving mathematical problems. Through the application of digital learning media, such as educational games and interactive simulations, this research aims to create a learning environment that motivates students to think creatively and apply mathematical concepts in real contexts. This research methodology involves students' active participation in digital interactive activities, followed by an evaluation of their level of creativity in responding to mathematical challenges. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide an in-depth view of the potential of digital learning media as an effective tool for increasing student creativity in learning mathematics

Abstract

Mathematics is a basic science that can be used to solve problems in many other fields of science. However, the fact is that there are still many mathematics learning activities in the field that cause a higher level of learning difficulty than other subjects. Students' inability to complete assignments given by the teacher can also be interpreted as learning difficulties. Students also believe that mathematics is a difficult subject to learn. In accordance with the causal factors, a learning problem solving strategy is an approach chosen and used by an educator to deliver lesson material with the aim of making it easier for students to accept and understand the material and ultimately achieve learning goals.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is a strong influence that shows students' self-confidence, where the effectiveness of self-efficacy in elementary school students in solving problems in mathematics learning can be seen from the results obtained when self-efficacy is good. This research aims to analyze the level of self-confidence or confidence of students regarding the abilities they have in terms of learning mathematics. The results of the analysis in this study show that there are students with several criteria that are produced, namely, how much the students consider the level of difficulty of the task being faced by the students, the sense of ability that students have when dealing with mathematical problems and knowing how much students feel confident. himself with his abilities. The results of the analysis in this study show how much self-confidence students have as explained in the results section of this study when faced with mathematical problems, students will not easily give up or avoid tasks given by the teacher if they have tried hard and the task is difficult to complete. completed, then they may give up if the task is too difficult.

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of a peer assessment model for evaluating mathematics learning as an innovative approach to enhance student understanding and classroom dynamics. Using qualitative methods, the study employs classroom observations, document analysis, and interviews with teachers and students to assess the impact of the model. Results indicate that the peer assessment model fosters student collaboration in the mathematics teaching and learning process. Improved social interaction positively influences concept understanding, with students actively contributing to building collective knowledge. Despite increasing student engagement, challenges such as unequal comprehension levels and the need for additional teacher support were identified. Adaptation for effective integration into the existing mathematics curriculum is necessary, considering students' individual differences. The research affirms that the peer assessment model not only gauges students' final understanding but also underscores the learning process itself. Emphasizing the development of interpersonal and collaboration skills leads to a dynamic learning environment. Consequently, this study recognizes the potential of the peer assessment model as an innovative evaluation tool in mathematics learning. Although adjustments and addressing emerging challenges are required, the model holds promise for significant changes in the evaluation and teaching of mathematics, contributing to a more holistic and contextual approach to learning.

Abstract

This research aims at three things. First, describe the skill of producing procedure text for grade X Student of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Onang, before applying the Project Based Learning model. Secondly, describe the skill of producing procedure text for grade X Student of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Onang, applying the Project Based Learning. Third, analyze the effect of applying the Project Based Learning on the skills of producing procedure text for grade X Student of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Onang.  There are four theories used in this research. (1) the skils producing procedure teks, (3) the application of Project Based Learning models to skills producing procedure texts.  This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive analytical research method. The research design used was the one group pretest and posttest. There are three research procedures, namely pretest, treatment, and posttest. The population of this research is the X grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Onang who are registered in the 2023 school year, and the sample of this study is the students of class X ATPH (Agribisnis Tanaman Pangan dan Holticultura), amounting to 15 students.  Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, the following three things were concluded. First, the skills of producing procedure text for grade X ATPH.I students at SMK Negeri 1 Batang Onang before being applied to the Project Based Learning model are in "almost enough" qualifications with an average grade of 52.40. Secondly, the skills of producing procedure text for grade X ATPH students 1 SMA Negeri 1 Batang Onang after being applied to the Project Based Learning model are in "good" qualifications with an average score of 79.36. Third, there is an effect of the application of the Project Based Learning model on the skills of producing text in class X ATPH 1 student of SMK Negeri I Batang Onang after t-test at 0.95 level, obtained thitung > ttabel or 7.62> 1.70. So, it can be said that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Onang. Batang Onang District. This type of research is classroom action research using an active student learning model which aims to determine the extent to which the use of an active student learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the material of adding fractions. The subjects of this research were class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Onang, with a total of 15 students consisting of 7 girls and 8 boys. From the research carried out, an increase in learning outcomes was obtained where after the action was carried out, the results of the research at the time the pre-cycle was carried out showed that the total score was 587, the average score was 39.1 with the minimum completeness criteria being 65, the percentage of classics that were completed was 20%, and the percentage of classics that had not yet been completed. completed 80%, and the highest score was 87, the lowest score was 25. Then in the implementation of cycle I the total score became 1072, the average student score increased to 71.5 with the percentage of classical completed being 60% and those not yet completed being 40%, and the highest score to 100, the lowest value to 50. Furthermore, after improvements were made, in cycle II the total score became 1295, the average score of students increased to 86, the percentage of completeness became 80% and 20% incomplete with the highest score remaining 100. From the learning results obtained by students, it can be concluded that the use of Active student learning models can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, especially in adding fractions
