Abstract

This study examines the influence of organizational culture on service quality at the Medan Satria Police from the perspective of the community as service recipients. Using a quantitative approach, the study was conducted using a survey method on 100 community respondents who had used the Medan Satria Police services. Data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale that measured community perceptions of seven dimensions of organizational culture and five dimensions of service quality. Data analysis using simple linear regression showed that organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on service quality with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.685. The service orientation dimension provides the largest contribution (32.4%) to improving service quality. The research results indicate the importance of strengthening the implementation of organizational cultural values that are oriented towards community satisfaction through innovative programs and the development of service competencies.

Abstract

The growth of the MSME sector in Indonesia has faced various challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. A survey of 250 MSMEs revealed that 67% experienced a decrease in revenue. One of the primary issues currently confronting MSMEs is marketing. Poor marketing infrastructure has led to a low level of market orientation among these businesses. As a result, it is crucial for MSMEs to strengthen their competitiveness in an increasingly open and competitive market environment. This study explores the integration of Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) e-commerce platforms in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Depok City, Indonesia, in the context of the UMKM Go Digital 2030 Program. Through a descriptive survey research design using quantitative methods, the study identifies how digital infrastructure and platform usability influence MSME performance. Data from 105 MSMEs were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS. The findings highlight the benefits and challenges of digital integration, offering recommendations to strengthen MSME participation in the digital economy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the patterns of price fluctuations in mutual funds over a specific time frame, particularly in relation to political events such as national elections. The primary objective is to evaluate the risk levels of mutual funds in countries undergoing election cycles, which are often associated with heightened economic and political uncertainty. To achieve this, the study employs Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (ARCH) and Generalized ARCH (GARCH) models—two widely recognized econometric tools for analyzing time series data exhibiting volatility clustering. These models enable the classification and comparison of both low and high volatility conditions in mutual fund performance. The dataset comprises mutual fund data from 10 different countries, covering the period between 2019 and 2024. Each selected country has a mature mutual fund market with a focus on equity (stocks) and fixed-income (bonds) instruments. The findings reveal distinct variations in volatility levels among the countries studied, influenced by their respective political climates during election periods. The application of ARCH and GARCH modeling proves effective in capturing these fluctuations. The results offer valuable insights for investors seeking to minimize risk by diversifying their portfolios across more stable mutual funds, especially during times of political transition. This research contributes to better-informed investment decision-making in politically dynamic environments.

Abstract

The development of the global financial system has encouraged various countries to adopt bullion banks as an alternative to the gold-based financial system. However, in Indonesia, the concept of bullion banks is still relatively new and does not yet have a clear legal framework. This study aims to examine the need for bullion bank regulation in Indonesia and to assess the suitability of the national legal framework with international practices. The method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach and comparative studies. The results of the study show that Indonesia does not yet have specific regulations regarding bullion banks, which has the potential to cause legal uncertainty for business actors and investors. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate comprehensive regulations to regulate bullion bank activities specifically to support the stability of the national financial system. This study recommends that policy makers immediately formulate regulations related to bullion banks by referring to best practices in other countries.
