Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of empowering leadership on innovative work behavior with self-efficacy as a mediating variable and clarity of role as moderator at PT. XYZ. PT. XYZ is a food and beverage plastic packaging product manufacturing company located in Krian, Sidoarjo, East Java. The population and sample in this study were PT. XYZ’s 102 permanent employees consists of 5 employees in the Marketing Department, 41 employees in the R&D Department, and 56 employees in the Production Department. Sampling in this study by conducting a census that took the entire population. This research measurement technique uses Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) software version 3.0. The results of this study indicate that empowering leadership has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior, empowering leadership has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior, role clarity positively and significantly moderates the effect of empowering leadership on self-efficacy, and self-efficacy can mediate positively and significantly the effect of empowering leadership on innovative work behavior.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how to evaluate drug management in the pharmaceutical warehouse of the UPTD Manembo-Nembo Hospital type C Bitung. This research uses qualitative research methods by conducting in-depth interviews, document review and observation. This research was conducted at the Pharmacy Warehouse of UPTD Manembo-nembo Hospital Type C Bitung which is located at Jalan SH Sarundajang, Manembo-nembo Tengah Village, Matuari District, Bitung City, North Sulawesi from April to June 2023. The informants of this research are those who have the authority to manage drugs in the Pharmacy Warehouse of the UPTD Manembo-nembo Hospital Type C Bitung. Such as the Head of the Pharmacy Installation, Head of the Hospital Pharmacy Warehouse, Hospital Director, Medical Support and Pharmaceutical Technical Personnel. The results of the study found that Drug Planning at the UPTD Manembo-nembo Hospital Type C Bitung has followed the Guidelines for Planning Drug Needs Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 72 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Hospitals, Drug storage in the Pharmaceutical Warehouse UPTD Manembonembo Hospital Type C Bitung is in accordance with using 21 drug storage parameters used only 2 parameters that are not yet in accordance, namely that there are several boxes of drugs placed on the floor without using pallets on the floor and some drugs have not been placed on the shelves of the medicine cabinet, and Monitoring and evaluation is well underway.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out either the direct or indirect effect of the board of directors, independent commissioners, and audit committees on firm value, with financial performance as the intervening variable. Furthermore, the population was State-Owned Enterprises that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2018-2021. The data collection technique used purposive sampling, which used two criteria for the sample. In line with that, there were 20 companies as the samples which required to be observed. Moreover, the data analysis technique used Path analysis with SPSS. As the result, it concluded that (1) the Board of Directors did not affect the financial performance, (2) Independent Commissioners had a positive effect on financial performance, (3) Audit Committees did not affect the financial performance, (4) the Board of Directors had a positive effect on firm value, (5) Independent Commissioners did not affect firm value, (6) Audit Committees did not affect firm value, (7) Financial Performance had a positive effect on firm value, (8) Financial Performance could not mediate the Board of Directors on firm value, (9) Financial Performance could mediate Independent Commissioners on firm value, and (10) Financial Performance could mediate audit committee on firm value.

Abstract

ccording to the World Health Organization (WHO) Hospital is a medical institution that functions as a provider of curative and rehabilitative health service to the community. Hospital is a health institution that provides comprehensive health services in the form of emergency, outpatient, and inpatient. According to its type, hospitals are devided into Special Hospitals and General Hospitals. Then General Hospitals are devided into Type A, Type B, Type C, and Type D. Satisfaction is a person’s feelings towards the comparison of the results recived and his expectations. The level of patient satisfaction is caused by several factors namely reliability, tangibles, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance. This research is an analytic observational survey research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were patients who were temporarily treated in the inpatient room of Manembo-nembo Type C Hospital, Bitung. The determination of the research sample was carried out using the accidental sampling method. The total number of samples obtained was 70 people. The variable that is significantly related to inpatient satisfaction are reliability (p value = 0,000), tangibles (p value = 0,000), responsiveness (p value = 0,000), empathy (p value = 0,000), and assurance (p value = 0,000). There is a relationship between reliability, tangibles, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance for patient satisfaction at Manembo-nembo Type C Hospital , Bitung.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of moral equity, locus ofcontrol, environment uncertainty, organizational commitment, reward, andmotivation onbudgetary slack: participative budgeting as a moderating variable. The population was all employees who worked at Local Government Organization in East Manggarai Sub-district. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 115 employees as the sample. Furthermore, the instrument in the data collection technique used questionnaires. The research was quantitative. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. As the result, it concluded that: (a) moral equity had a negative effect on budgetary slack; (b) locus of control had a negative effect on budgetary slack; (c) motivation had a negative effect on budgetary slack, (d) participative budgeting strengthened the effect of moral equity on budgetary slack; (e) environment uncertainty did not affect on budgetary slack: (f) organizational commitment did not affect budgetary slack; (g) reward did not affect budgetary slack; (h) participative budgeting did not moderate the effect of locus of control on budgetary slack; (i) participative budgeting did not moderate the effect of environment uncertainty om budgetary slack; (j) participative budgeting did not moderate the effect of organizational commitment on budgetary slack; (k) participative budgeting did not moderate the effect of reward on budgetary slack; and (l) participative budgeting did not moderate the effect of motivation on budgetary slack.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the variables that influence the performance of employees within the Silver Crafts UMKM Association located in Celuk Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The variables employed in this research encompass remuneration, job motivation, and work discipline. The present study employs primary data. The study's population and sample consisted of 45 employees who were affiliated with the UMKM association of silver traders in Celuk Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The sample technique employed in this study utilizes a saturated sampling approach. The present study employs many statistical tests, including validity and reliability assessments, as well as partial and multiple determination coefficient tests. Additionally, the study utilizes partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing through the utilization of the SPSS type 26 application. The findings indicate that (1) partial compensation has a statistically significant impact on Employee Performance, (2) partial work motivation has a statistically significant impact on Employee Performance, (3) partial work discipline does not have a statistically significant impact on Employee Performance, and (4) when considered together, compensation, work motivation, and work discipline have a statistically significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture on employee motivation and discipline in the Education, Youth, and Sports Department of Karawang Regency. Organizational culture is a crucial factor that can influence employee behavior and performance in government organizations. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 65 employees as respondents. The research results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on motivation (R² = 0.68) and employee discipline (R² = 0.72). These findings indicate the importance of strengthening organizational culture to improve motivation and discipline in the public sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture on the effectiveness of staff work at the Horison Job Training Institute (LPK) in Bekasi City. Using a quantitative approach and survey method, this study involved 50 employees as respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through validated questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on staff work effectiveness with a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.724, indicating that 72.4 % of the variation in work effectiveness can be explained by organizational culture. The most influential dimensions of organizational culture are innovation and risk taking, with a contribution of 31.2 % . This study provides practical implications for LPK Horison management in developing strategies to strengthen organizational culture to improve staff work effectiveness.

Abstract

Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) are a crucial component in Indonesia's democratic system that directly influences regional development, including in Bekasi. This study examines how organizational culture plays a role in optimizing interactions between security officers and the community to create supportive conditions during the Pilkada. The study was conducted in Margajaya Village, South Bekasi, using qualitative descriptive methodology. Data collection was conducted through a series of in-depth interviews, direct observation, documentation, and focus group discussions (FGD). The research findings indicate several obstacles in socializing organizational culture , including lack of community knowledge and obstacles in communication. The main challenges include efforts to build trust between officers and residents, and maintaining the professional attitude of officers in the field. Several solutions proposed include community-based socialization, improving officer communication skills, using information technology, and forming a work team.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizationalculture and ethics on the quality of public services at theMedan Satria District Office. Using a quantitativeapproach and survey method, this study involved 200respondents selected through random samplingtechniques from the community using services in MedanSatria District. Data were collected through a structuredquestionnaire and analyzed using multiple regressionanalysis. The results of the study show that organizationalculture has a positive and significant influence on publicservices with a determination coefficient of 0.642(p<0.05), while ethics contributes positively with a valueof 0.583 (p<0.05). Simultaneously, these two variablesinfluence the quality of public services by 71.5%. Thisfinding indicates the importance of strengtheningorganizational culture and implementing service ethics inimproving the quality of public services at the sub-districtlevel. Research recommendations emphasize thedevelopment of employee training programs andstandardization of ethics-based service procedures.
