Abdi Pandawa- Community Service Journal is managed by Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNIS Tangerang . This journal accommodates community service article and students’ research article. Abstract

Global Citizenship Education in Elementary School is a science that shapes students to become competent global citizens, by developing global competencies such as knowledge, skills and character. The implementation of citizenship education in elementary schools needs to instill Global Citizenship education based on multiculturalism in order to be able to maintain the existence of PKN on global soil and help optimize the process of sustainable development in the humanitarian field. The purpose of this research is to develop a model of global citizenship education based on multiculturalism in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods from various sources such as scientific journals, articles and other sources relevant to the research topic. The researcher conducts an analysis, reflection and finalization of the Global Civics model based on Multiculturalism as a Sustainable Development Practice in the Humanitarian Sector. The data obtained are narrated and described to obtain comprehensive results. The data shows that there are five stages consisting of relevance, realization, core, reflection and massive socialization. This stage is carried out as an application of the global Citizenship Education model in elementary schools as a sustainable development practice in the humanitarian field.

Abstract

Currently, waste management is one of the main challenges faced by various regions in Indonesia. Based on the results of field observations, Tanjung Anom Village has experienced an increase in waste volume along population growth, changes in community consumption patterns, lack of public awareness and not balanced with optimal waste management. This service aims to provide waste management solutions through education and innovation in space-saving waste management by providing the Creating a Temporary Waste Disposal Site tool to for the Tanjung Anom village community, Tangerang Regency. The approach method used is Participatory Approach. The participants involved were all village staff, PKK mothers, posyandu cadres, hamlet heads, RT heads, RW heads and Karang Taruna of Tanjung Anom village, Mauk sub-district, Tangerang Regency. The results of the program showed a significant decrease in waste volume and increased community awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management. The socialization succeeded in increasing public awareness of the importance of efficient and environmentally friendly waste management. For future improvements, it is recommended that the Tanjung Anom Village Government purchase a Garbage Motorcycle to transport rubbish from residents' homes to be placed in the TSS site that we have created. Then, once the waste is at the TPSS, the waste is then disposed of at the final disposal site.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze restaurant business standards in the context of tourism, including business qualifications and classifications based on aspects of product, service, and business management. The research methods used include literature review and analysis of related regulations, as well as interviews with restaurant business actors and authorities in the tourism sector. This study also reviewed the implementation of Risk-Based Restaurant Business Standard Certification which includes low- to high-risk businesses, based on occupational safety and health (K3), public health, and environmental (K3L) criteria. The results of the study show that restaurant business certifications and standards implemented through the Online Single Submission Institute (OSS) and the Tourism Business Certification Institute (LSU in the Tourism Sector) are effective in ensuring the fulfillment of safety, health, and service quality standards in the restaurant industry. However, there are challenges in the socialization and implementation of this standard among small and medium business actors. In conclusion, restaurant business standards and certifications play an important role in improving the quality and competitiveness of the restaurant industry in the tourism sector, but there needs to be further efforts to improve the understanding and compliance of business actors with these standards

Abstract

Sexual harassment in the school environment is a serious issue that requires special attention, especially in efforts to prevent and handle it. Students' lack of understanding of the form, impact, and protective measures against sexual harassment can increase the risk of such cases occurring. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of education regarding sexual harassment and its handling strategies for students at SMKN 1 Kiarapedes. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the study show that education provided in the form of seminars, training, and socialization has a significant impact on increasing students' awareness of various forms of sexual harassment, how to prevent it, and reporting procedures available in schools. In addition, the school's policy in providing psychological assistance services to victims has been proven to be helpful in their mental and emotional recovery process. However, this study also found that there are still obstacles in the implementation of education and handling, such as a lack of coordination between schools, parents, and related institutions in handling cases of sexual harassment. In addition, cultural factors and students' fear of reporting are still the main challenges in efforts to prevent and handle cases of harassment in the school environment. Therefore, better synergy is needed between schools, educators, parents, and government agencies to create an educational environment that is safe, comfortable, and free from sexual harassment. In addition, stricter policies and increased training for teachers and education staff are needed in recognizing and following up on cases of sexual harassment in order to provide maximum protection for all students.

Abstract

The formation of Islamic character in students is an important and most important aspect in Islamic-based education. Especially in the current era where the technological system is increasingly sophisticated which makes it easier for humans to be carried away by the current, resulting in a lack of Islamic character, including students. Therefore, there needs to be a program that can improve Islamic character, especially for students. One of the methods that can be applied in the Islamic character formation program of students is the habit of memorizing selected hadiths that are relevant to moral and moral values. This service activity aims to implement an Islamic character formation program with a method of memorizing selected hadiths in Islamic boarding schools. The methods used in this program include lectures, periodic memorization practices that are carried out jointly and gradually, making deposits or memorization tests to the supervisor, and periodic evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the application of the method. The results of the activity show that the habit of memorizing hadith is able to form an attitude of discipline, honesty, and responsibility in daily life. Thus, the application of this method can be an effective strategy in building Islamic character in students.

Abstract

Strengthening organizational capacity, especially in the Mosque Youth Association (IRMA) in Cibukamanah Village, is a strategic step to increase the role of the younger generation in social and religious life. Observations show that the activity of mosque youth only increases during the month of Ramadan, while in other periods there is a decrease in activity due to unclear management and individual busyness. Through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, socialization, knowledge sharing, and dialogue activities are held to map problems and find solutions. The results of this service show the need to prepare a clear organizational structure, increase love for the mosque, and optimize youth participation. The formation of a new management with clear duties and responsibilities has the potential to empower mosque youth and make a positive contribution to prospering the mosque, as well as community development. The existence of an organized IRMA is expected to be a support for mosque administrators in carrying out social and religious programs.

Abstract

The digitization of videography has become a crucial aspect of marketing strategies and information dissemination in the modern era. This community service activity aims to enhance residents’ understanding and skills in the field of digital videography, particularly in the creation of promotional videos. The methods used in this activity included teaching the basics of videography, hands-on practice in creating promotional videos, evaluating the videos produced by participants, and awarding prizes as a form of appreciation for the best works. The results of this activity show that participants experienced a significant improvement in their understanding of videography concepts as well as their technical skills in shooting and editing videos. Additionally, the application of videography digitization is expected to help residents promote various products or community activities more effectively through social media. With this training, it is hoped that the community will become more active in utilizing digital technology for various creative and economic purposes

Abstract

Religious character can be interpreted as an effort to make a person know care and be able to implement religious values so that they behave in accordance with their religious teachings. This study aims to analyze the role of PAI teachers in shaping students' religious character through religious programs designed and to find out how the results of these programs in shaping students' religious character in SMP Negeri 1 Maniis. This research method uses a type of descriptive qualitative research through observation and interviews. The resource persons in this study were Waka Curriculum, PAI teachers, and students at SMP Negeri 1 Maniis. The results of the study show that the implementation of these programs has not been implemented optimally because there are still many students who do not have awareness in themselves so they do not carry out the program.

Abstract

Prayer as the second pillar of Islam plays an important role in the life of a Muslim. However, many children in Cibukamanah Village do not understand the procedures for performing ablution and prayer correctly. This research aims to provide understanding and skills to children about the procedures for ablution and prayer using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. In this activity, four meetings were held which included theoretical learning, hands-on practice, and evaluation using visual media. The results of the implementation of this activity show that there is an increase in children's understanding and skills in carrying out ablution and prayer properly and correctly. It is hoped that the service of this activity can shape the character and discipline of children in worship.

Abstract

Google Bisnisku's socialization and mentoring activities in Cibukamanah Village aim to improve the digital understanding and skills of MSME actors. The results show a significant increase in the ability to use digital platforms as a means of marketing. MSME players who previously relied on conventional methods are starting to use Google Businessku to expand market reach and increase business visibility. The sustainability of this activity is expected to support comprehensive digital transformation, increase the competitiveness of MSMEs, and become a model of technology-based empowerment in other villages. Follow-up research can review the long-term impact on turnover growth and market access at large.
