<![CDATA[Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia have become the biggest contributor to economic growth. The success of small and medium businesses is inseparable from digital developments. In increasing financial managerial capacity in terms of financial reporting, one of the methods used is to prepare financial reports with the help of the SME Accounting application. Community service implementation partners are SMEs engaged in buying and selling groceries. In order to improve financial literacy of partners, the methods used are in the form of lectures, discussions, mentoring and practice. In implementing the SME Accounting application, partners are assisted in creating accounts and inputting transactions. The purpose of this activity is to facilitate partners in preparing financial reports through the implementation of the SME Accounting application. The results of the activity show that partners are assisted by this activity, and hope that this activity can continue.]]>

<![CDATA[A child needs a parent figure in the stage of growth and development. Parents play an important role in caring for and educating children so that later the child can grow into someone who can make their parents proud. But what if a child doesn't have parental figures in his life? What will be the future for the child if the parents don't want to guide their child, or if the parents are gone, can the child still enjoy his future? Orphanage is a solution to this problem. Orphanage is a place to live for children who are less fortunate due to being abandoned by their parents for various reasons and backgrounds. Every child who is in an orphanage is given services according to what they should get in the family. The needs of food, boards, and clothing, all as much as possible is provided according to needs. Different backgrounds also become a challenge for caregivers. Understanding each character and potential of each child needs to be done, so that children can develop according to their abilities and talents. Thus they will be the same as other children who live with their parents.]]>

<![CDATA[Students' interest in learning may be enhanced through an attractive learning design. An attractive learning design can improve the quality of student understanding, where improvement can be assessed from the effectiveness of learning. Aspects that can affect the effectiveness of learning are learning curriculum, facilities, and teacher quality. Of the three aspects, the aspect of facilities is often a problem in schools. One example of limited school facilities is the inadequacy of the Natural Sciences Laboratory. Public Junior High School (SMPN) 17 Balikpapan is one of the schools which is constrained in the aspect of facilities where it only has one Science Laboratory so that the practicum is only carried out occasionally. Therefore, community service is carried out at SMPN 17 Balikpapan through the "Introduction to simple applied science to increase interest in science" program in which it is hoped that students' knowledge and interest in science will increase. To increase the knowledge and interest of students in science, a simple hands-on module is implemented. Before doing practicum, students are first given science material in the form of basic theory related to the experiment to be carried out. Evaluation of the activity was carried out by conducting a post-test on students in the class that was the target of the program (VII G) and the comparison class (VII A). The evaluation results showed that class VII G got a higher average score than class VII A, but class VII A got a score ≥ 75 which had a higher percentage. Field findings show that the addition of practical modules in learning methods has a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This simply did not have a significant impact on the team's expected achievement objectives, with only 6.9% achieving a score of 75.]]>

<![CDATA[Efforts to prevent postpartum hemorrhage can be carried out since the 3rd and 4th stage of labor by administering oxytocin. The hormone oxytocin plays an important role in the process of uterine involution. The involution process will go well if the uterine contractions are strong so that action must be taken to improve uterine contractions. Efforts to control the occurrence of bleeding from the placenta by improving the strong contraction and retraction of myometrial fibers with oxytocin massage. Efforts to maintain uterine contractions through massage to stimulate the release of the hormone oxytocin is an important part of postpartum care. After direct practice, nursing mothers feel stomach contractions, so oxytocin really works and it is hoped that it will speed up the uterine involution process so that bleeding does not occur. Oxotocin massage is very important to speed up the process of uterine involution. So postpartum mothers really need to know the benefits of oxytocin massage for the mother's own health, so that postpartum mothers want to do oxytocin massage. In this community service activity, the lecturers and their students try to contribute their knowledge and experience about complementary techniques, especially "Oxytocin Massage" to 10 postpartum mothers. <![CDATA[Communication is an interpersonal process that involves verbal and non-verbal changes. Communication refers not only to the content but also to the feelings and emotions in which the individual conveys the relationship, because of that communication must be done as selectively as possible, the elderly for example, need to require special attention from everyone. Seniors in the family play the role of parents, as well as grandparents. Status and other related roles of individuals in a family will change through various ways that take place in the family life cycle. Elderly is a vulnerable age group and needs special attention from the family. Elderly social welfare is an action as an effort to meet the needs of the community, especially the elderly who cannot carry out their social functions, namely by providing assistance and support services. As a result of physical, psychological, emotional and social changes, the elderly demand good communication patterns. This study uses the evaluation method, the results of the study indicate that the importance of good family communication for the social welfare of the elderly. The results of this study can be used as additional knowledge, in providing counseling to families about the importance of implementing good communication in the elderly, and can provide treatment for family problems in elderly care.]]>

<![CDATA[Field Work Practice is one of the concrete evidences in the embodiment of the tri dharma of higher education, namely the expected service through street vendors is able to have a positive impact on the surrounding community. Apart from the objectives of street vendors, which are expected to be able to have a positive impact, they are also able to make students become independent. Through this street vendors too, it is hoped that the practitioner will be able to awaken the importance of education. Therefore, education is able to bring us to achieve the goals we dream of. Practitioners undergo street vendors using general / general stages through the mini project that is carried out. The stages are the assessment stage, the program planning stage, the intervention stage, the program evaluation stage and the termination stage.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is quite dominating and is the backbone that supports economic growth and provides jobs. Its existence needs to be appreciated and developed by providing access to financing, guidance and assistance so that it can develop its business. Training and mentoring activities are carried out in order to improve accounting skills for one of the micro businesses in Padang City "UD. Sala Lauak Kito. There is a need for partners to gain knowledge and understanding of accounting books and the ability to make financial reports. Until now, partners have not carried out the bookkeeping process so that cost and income information is not generated accurately. Implementation of activities consists of three stages: planning, implementation and final stage. Overall, all stages were carried out for 2 months. From planning to final stage. The training was carried out for 1 day and mentoring was carried out 1 month after the training. The method of implementation is in the form of material explanation presentations, exercises, discussions, question and answer discussions and independent learning through modules. The training material provided is in the form of knowledge related to the accounting cycle from recording to financial reporting. After the implementation of the activities there is an increase in accounting knowledge, the creation of complete and valid financial information, the existence of documented bookkeeping, the preparation of financial reports as information from the business. The output of this activity is the publication of print/digital newspapers and activity videos via YouTube media.]]>

<![CDATA[In the era of the rise of online games among underage children which can be freely accessed via mobile phones, and causing children's interest in learning to continue to decline over time. Apart from the fact that online games are increasingly mushrooming among children, the decline in children's interest in learning is also due to a decrease in the learning methods used which are also boring. this is also very visible among children who live in rural areas due to the lack of updating of parents and the existing education system in rural areas, which is still monotonous. This will become a very serious problem if it continues. This also happened to several children in sialang village. because of this the process of providing assistance is also carried out through field work practices or PKL II students of social welfare sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of North Sumatra by applying the discussion method in learning. This method has the aim of increasing children's interest in learning and training children to exchange ideas and learning processes as well as daily activities. Apart from that, a mini project was also carried out at the practicum this time, namely by making an intervention, specifically an intervention that aims to help several children in the unlucky village in solving the problems they are experiencing.]]>

<![CDATA[Positive learning experiences stem from active engagement with lessons and greater interaction in learning activities. Play is also important for development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children. Therefore the method of learning while playing is a good learning method and can be applied to learning mathematics. The purpose of this Field Work Practice is to motivate children in learning, especially in mathematics. The use of learning while playing methods like this can increase children's interest in learning so they don't feel bored and have more fun when learning math. The intervention used in this practicum activity is a mezzo intervention using the group work method through general or general stages which consist of; Engagement Intake Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation, and ending with Termination.]]>

<![CDATA[An orphanage is a social institution that has the responsibility to provide social welfare services to neglected children, as well as to provide substitute services for parents/guardians of children in meeting the physical, mental and social needs of children. Social services are very much needed for children in orphanages. especially education services, referring to the results of research showing that the fulfillment of the rights and educational needs of children in orphanages has not been maximized. Education is basically the right of every child without exception. Education functions to shape students' attitudes and orientation towards learning, instill a positive attitude and thirst for knowledge. In providing educational training to children using the fulfillment of educational needs using the group method (Group Work) this is a comprehensive education about educational training as a garden of learning. The intervention program used in this Practicum activity is the Mezzo Intervention by Zastrow which consists of; Preparation (with a Non-Directive Approach), Intake / Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Action Plan, Evaluation and Termination.. Can increase the knowledge, skills and creativity of orphanage children. The children of the Kasih Hati Orphanage Foundation can read, write, and count well.]]>
