Field Work Practice (PKL) is a manifestation of students in applying the knowledge gained when attending lectures so that it aims to improve students' skills in developing mindsets, expressing ideas, and gaining insights to become a skilled and qualified workforce. Practice carried out the second Field Work Practice at the YAFSI Integrated Public House. The problems faced by the members of the YAFSI Integrated Public House are meeting the needs and overcoming the risks of climate change. For this problem, practitioners participate in ecoprint training which is a form of inclusive climate change literacy and adaptation. The author uses the method presented by Kirst-Ashman (2010) regarding the level of social worker practice at the mezzo level, namely the intervention unit is a group with a group work method. As for the results of this second Employment Practice, it is hoped that the group that is the main target of the ecoprint training program becomes a group that can run independently. Ecoprint is one type of batik whose manufacturing method utilizes natural dyes from tannins or dyes of leaves, roots, or stems that are avoided on a piece of cloth and then the cloth is boiled.

The rapid development of the times has made many changes in the entire scope of human life. From social behavior, technology, environment, climate and many other things. The environment is one of the things that is close to human life. The behavior towards waste has become a culture that is rooted in society. This has an impact on the mindset of the community regarding waste that is not appropriate. It takes care and concern for cleanliness in the environment. This form of concern can start from the family where there are children in it. According to R.A. Kosnan "children are young people at a young age, their souls and life journeys are easily influenced by their surroundings". In addition to environmental changes, another thing that can also be seen is the impact of parenting behavior in the field of education. There is also an increasing variety of parenting efforts for children, one of which is the application of literacy that can be started from early childhood. Literacy is a term that refers to a series of individual abilities and skills with reading, writing, speaking, calculating and solving problems in a certain level of expertise needed in everyday life. Through cultural literacy Field Work Practice is an activity related to children, literacy, and waste processing. Through the literacy of plastic waste processing, it aims to increase public awareness, and foster children's sensitivity to waste. Children also need an attitude of love for the surrounding environment. This will make people's stigma towards waste will change and start healthy living behavior and maintain the cleanliness of the living environment.

Character is the psychological traits, morals, character and disposition that differentiate a person from others. Character education is related to the social structural dimension to create a social system that is conducive to individual growth. Character formation requires a relatively long and continuous process. The strategy to strengthen character education is carried out through attitudes, namely: example, enforcing discipline and habituation. It is necessary to instill in the children of the orphanage the strengthening of character education in increasing the enthusiasm for learning of the children of the orphanage so that there is an interest in reading books. This means that the children of the orphanage always do the homework given by the teacher and can appreciate the time in terms of studying. The problem solving process was carried out in the PKL II mini project activity using the group work method at the mezzo intervention level. The stages used are the general stages (General Method) as follows: Engagement, Intake & Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation and Termination. What is the focus of the client's problem solving process is their lack of interest in reading books and rarely doing the homework given by the teacher and their lack of respect for time when it comes to studying. The aim of the program has been achieved, as evidenced by the client always diligently reading books every night and always doing the homework given by the teacher and being able to respect time when it comes to studying.

Food security is a condition where food is met for all people and countries at all times, reflected in food that is nutritious, safe, high quality, diverse, nutritious, affordable and does not conflict with the religion, beliefs and culture of the community. Food security is an important and strategic matter, because several countries have shown that no country can carry out development steadily until it is able to realize food security first. Law Number 18 of 2012 concerning Food ensures that the government together with the community achieves food security for all Indonesian people. Because Indonesia is a country with a large population and a high growth rate, efforts to achieve food security are a challenge that must be prioritized for the nation's welfare. Because there must be an institution that regulates availability, stability and consumption patterns. Indonesia is one of the countries that pays attention to the food of its people, through Presidential Decree No. 66 of 2021 the government established the National Food Agency. For this reason, the role of mothers throughout Indonesia is needed to intelligently and creatively increase family food security. Practicum activities are one of the mandatory courses that prospective social worker students in the USU FISIP Social Welfare Study Program must take. Field Work Practice 2 is carried out in full for one semester for 1 student (full block placement). Self-confidence is the ability to be confident in the abilities we have or the ability to develop positive judgments both for ourselves and the environment around us. Of course, everyone has their own abilities, but not everyone realizes this or some people don't even believe in their abilities. Problems of not having self-confidence will hinder his development in socializing, developing his potential, getting to know himself, and other developmental tasks. This problem of lack of self-confidence is known to be the result of negative thoughts which have an impact on adolescent behavior. A person who gets self-confidence from other people feels that he is valued, respected, feels that other people are acting responsibly. Everyone needs to have self-confidence so that they understand that each individual has competencies that are useful and useful in their lives. Apart from that, self-confidence must also be at the right level, neither less nor more. The development of self-confidence has a slight change in terms of stopping comparing oneself with others and developing a more positive mindset

Environmental parameters in a greenhouse influence plant growth, namely sunlight, air temperature, air humidity, which can be controlled more easily. Using a greenhouse allows you to get closer to optimal conditions for plant growth. A plant can generally grow in a warm and humid environment. Therefore, keeping plant seeds in a warm growing environment will speed up the plant growth process. Apart from the above parameters, it is also necessary to pay attention to disturbances from destructive animals at night which disturb fruit and vegetable crops. Since the existence of the green house, KWT has been active in helping the family's economy by planting vegetables such as soycin, celery, leeks, lettuce, eggplant and tomatoes. However, at night the Green House has no lighting. Because the green house is on empty land surrounded by weeds, there have been several incidents where animals have entered the green house and disturbed or damaged the plants, such as rats and raccoons. And it would be a shame if these plants were already bearing fruit like tomatoes and eggplant. Therefore, greenhouses need lighting in addition to maintaining temperature or warm conditions to speed up the seeding process and also to protect the plants in the greenhouse from nocturnal animals that damage fruit and vegetable plants. The team offers automatic lighting technology. also equipped with automatic watering.
