Abstract

This study aims to examine whether leverage, profitability and operating capacity affect financial distress in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019-2023. The data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id website. Determination of samples in research using porpusive sampling methods with special criteria. The results of the analysis are known to be a significant value of leverage of 0.000 < 0.05 with a calculation of -4.862 < table 1.992, so the variable leverage has a significant negative effect on financial distress conditions. The significant value on profitability is 0.000 < 0.05 with a count of 9,196 > table 1,992. So the probability variable has a significant positive effect on financial distress conditions. Significant value in Operating Capacity of 0.000 < 0.05 with a calculation of 8.422 > table 1.992, So operating capacity has a significant positive effect on financial distress.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of providing information about Islam and Pancasila Democratic Economics with Islamic criticism of Capitalist and socialist Economics. The research method uses literature study, by explaining theories related to titles obtained from books, journals and online media. This research found that when juxtaposed Islamic economics and Pancasila economics have the same concept and aim at human welfare and justice. The capitalist and socialist economic systems have been criticized by Islamic economics because of injustice, exploitation and imbalance. By integrating Islamic economic principles, Indonesia can develop a more just, stable and sustainable economic system in accordance with the values ​​of Pancasila and Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Poverty is a common problem for developing countries, especially to improve the welfare of their citizens. With various programs and policies being pursued with the aim of reducing poverty. Islam really wants its people to have a decent life and receive blessings in life and the afterlife. This means that Islam really wants its people to achieve prosperity. In this paper, the method used is descriptive qualitative which aims to describe regularly and factually. This research comes from literature such as books, journals and articles related to research. The findings of this research are that Islam views poverty not only as a social problem, but also as having spiritual and religious implications. One of the efforts to overcome poverty is environmental empowerment and entrepreneurial empowerment. The strategy for alleviating poverty that can be carried out from an Islamic economic perspective is by developing an economy based on zakat, cooperatives, education, health and transportation.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of Islamic economic mitigation in achieving social justice and economic sustainability in the context of natural disasters. The main focus of this research is how the principles and instruments of Islamic economics, such as zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, andIslamic microfinance institutionscan be used to reduce the social and economic impact of natural disasters. Islamic economics, based on the principles of social justice and redistribution of wealth, offers a holistic and sustainable approach to dealing with disasters. These instruments are capable of providing immediate and effective assistance, as well as supporting long-term rehabilitation and development programs. This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a library research approach. The research results show that Islamic economics not only functions as an economic system, but also as a mechanism for achieving social justice and economic sustainability, which can significantly increase society's resilience to future disasters. This paper emphasizes that the application of Islamic economic principles can be an effective and sustainable solution in dealing with the macroeconomic impacts of natural disasters.

Abstract

The main objective of Maqashid Shari'ah is to protect and fight for three legal categories, namely among others are Dharuriyat, Hajjiyat and Tahsiniyat. And there are five basic important elements namely soul (Hifdzunnafs), belief or religion (Hifdzuddin), reason/intellectual (Hifdzul Aql), descent (Hifdzunasl) and family and property (Hifdzulmal). The research objective is to look at the advantages and disadvantages between Maslow's and Al-Ghazali's Hierarchy of Needs in Islamic Economics. The research method is library research using primary and secondary data, namely books and scientific journals. The results of this study are Al-Ghazali's theory of needs which is almost parallel to Maslow's subsequent theory. Meanwhile, of the five elements, Maslow's theory of needs and al-Ghazali's are related to each other and there are also similarities, but al-Ghazli is more dominant in explaining the theory of these needs.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of employee competence and organizational commitment on employee performance, with innovative behavior as an intervening variable. Due to the population being less than 100 respondents, the study uses a census technique, taking all 50 employees of the Fisheries and Marine Office as the sample. Path analysis is employed as the data analysis technique. The results show that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, competence has a positive and significant effect on innovative behavior, and organizational commitment similarly has a positive and significant effect on innovative behavior. Innovative behavior itself has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. It is also found that innovative behavior can mediate the competency variable on employee performance, and innovative behavior can also mediate the organizational commitment variable on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of knowledge sharing and intrinsic motivation on the Pemalang Regency Industry and Trade Service’s non-state civil servant employees.. This research was carried out using a quantitative approach, data was collected through distributing questionnaires and a sample of 79 non-ASN employees at the Pemalang Regency Industry and Trade Department. The sampling technique uses the census method or saturated sample, while data analysis in this research uses path analysis. The results of the analysis show that knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the path analysis test stated that job satisfaction was proven to have a mediating role only in the influence of knowledge sharing on employee performance.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of work motivation and leadership, mediated by job satisfaction, on employee performance in savings and loan cooperatives during the Covid-19 pandemic in Pemalang. The population consists of employees from Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Muti Artha Utama, Graha Mandiri, and Merdeka Makmur the Main Branch Office in Pemalang, totaling 250 individuals. Data collection is conducted through a questionnaire, and the validity and reliability of the instruments are assessed through appropriate tests. The analytical approach involves multiple regression analysis. The findings from the multiple regression analysis indicate that work motivation positively and significantly affects employee performance, while leadership also demonstrates a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation is found to exert a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction, and leadership similarly shows a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is then identified as having a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results suggest that job satisfaction serves as a mediator, enhancing or fortifying the influence of work motivation variables on employee performance. Similarly, job satisfaction acts as a mediator, amplifying the impact of leadership variables on employee performance within savings and loan cooperatives in Pemalang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of Capital Structure (DAR), Company Size (Ln), Investment Opportunity Set (EPS), Leverage (DER), Liquidity (CR) and Profitability (ROA) on the Quality of Profits in banking companies. registered on the IDX in 2019-2021. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method and multiple linear regression analysis, where the population in this research is 46 banks and uses a purposive sampling technique with the sample size being 34 banks registered on the BEI in 2019-2021. Based on the research results, it shows that partially only the variables Company Size (Ln) and Profitability (ROA) have a positive and significant effect on Earnings Quality, while Capital Structure (DAR), Investment Opportunity Set (EPS), Leverage (DER) and Liquidity (CR) has no effect on the Quality of Profits in Banking Companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2021. Simultaneously, the variables Capital Structure (DAR), Company Size (Ln), Investment Opportunity Set (EPS), Leverage (DER), Liquidity (CR) and Profitability (ROA) have a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Profits in Banking Companies listed on the IDX 2019 -2021.

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent to which Self efficacy and emotional intelligence affect employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional 1 Sumatra. The sample selection technique used random sampling and a sample of 42 respondents was obtained. Data analysis techniques use multiple regression analysis and path analysis. From the results of the hypothesis test it can be concluded that Self Efficacy has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction at PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional 1 Sumatra. Emotional Intelligence does not have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction at PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional 1 Sumatra. Self Efficacy has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional 1 Sumatra. Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional 1 Sumatra.
