Abstract

Developing village tourism potential is an important strategy in increasing tourist attraction. The villages have unique cultural, natural and traditional riches, which can be a major attraction for tourists. This research aims to examine the role of developing village tourism potential in increasing tourist attraction. The research method used is literature study and secondary data analysis. The research results show that developing village tourism potential involves various aspects, such as preserving local culture, infrastructure development, tourism promotion, and involvement of local communities. Developing village tourism potential can provide double benefits, namely increasing the income and welfare of village communities while maintaining the ecosystem and culture. With the right efforts, villages can become attractive tourist destinations for tourists, both domestic and international. This research underlines the importance of collaboration between government, the private sector and local communities in developing village tourism potential. In addition, effective tourism promotion and careful planning are very important in increasing the attractiveness of villages as tourist destinations.

Abstract

Anak Setatah village is a village whose land directly faces the malacca straits and Anak Setatah village is a village that often experiences abration due to verry large sea waves. Anak Setatah village is located in the West Tributary District, Meranti Archipelago Distric. This study aims to determine post-disaster managemen In Anak Setatah Village. The research uses descritive qualitative method becauseit is done by interviews, obsevation, and documentation. The results showed that post-abrasion management was quite good, but there werw still many shortcomings that needed to be corrected, such as goverment budgets,illegal logging and how to prevent the seed from being washed away by the waves during high waves. In addition, there is an inhibiting factor for post-abrasion management, namely the lack of public awareness of the importance of mangrove forest for future sustainability. Mangroves are plants that are usually planted by the community in Anak Setatah village to prevent very severe abrasion. Very severe abrasion occurred in the village of Anak Setatah. This research was conducted by going to the field, seeing directly and interviewing the village community of Anak Setatah. The inhibiting factor of this research in the lack of buged from the government and public awareness. However, whit post –abrasion disaster management in Anak Setatah village, this very severe abrasion is no longer there and new soil is growing due to the grip of the mangrove roots.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of the evaluation of the City Without Slums (KOTAKU) program in Sri Meranti Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. The theory used in this research is Evaluation Theory according to William N Dunn (2003) which consists of Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Equity, Responsiveness and Accuracy. The research used qualitative research methods, with data collection through observation, documentation and interviews with the Head of KOTAKU Facilitator, Head of LKM, Head of PPM, and the community of Sri Meranti Village. The results of the research show that from the six theoretical contexts of the KOTAKU program evaluation, it has been proven that it has not run optimally in improving the quality of life of the community through improving infrastructure and basic services. There are still obstacles factors found in this program, namely changes in the person in charge of the program, limited human resources (HR), coordination. weak, limited infrastructure and resources, low community participation. In conclusion, the KOTAKU program is an excellent program for improving the quality of the community's living environment, but it is necessary to pay attention to the importance of coordination between related parties, training for human resources as implementers of the KOTAKU program, and increasing community participation related to this program.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to measure the level of effectiveness in conveying information about PT customer complaints. PLN (Persero) via social media and comparing it with the use of the PLN Mobile application. The use of social media is now important for state agencies to make it easier to provide services to the public, public services using social media as an intermediary according to Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 11 of 2008 which explains about Electronic Information and Transactions, Article 4 Point (c) explained in detail that, "The use of information technology and electronic transactions is carried out with the aim of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of public services. The data collection process uses crawling techniques, namely taking data from social media applications and online forms and then processing the data using Netiltyc and SPSS. Meanwhile, analysis techniques data is TNA (Textual Network Analysis), which is an analysis technique that uses text on the internet to process it into visual data and Frequency analysis which analyzes the frequency of occurrence of an indicator.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the quality of SKCK manufacturing services on community satisfaction at POLRESTABES MEDAN. This research was conducted by analyzing the influence of the quality of SKCK manufacturing services on community satisfaction using the multiple linear regression method. From the results of the analysis carried out using the multiple linear regression method, the calculated t value for reliability (X1) was 10.33, while the significant level value was 0.00 and the t table was 2.019 with a significant level of 0.05 which can be interpreted as if t calculated > t table or probability > significant level or 10.33 > 2.019 and 0.00 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which can mean that reliability has a big influence on people's satisfaction. And the empathy value (X2) t calculated was 8.537 while the significant level value was 0.00 while the t table was 2.019 with a significance level of 0.05 which can be interpreted that t calculated > t table or the probability > significant level or 8.537 > 2.019 and 0 .00 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that reliability has a big influence on people's satisfaction.

Abstract

The City Without Slums Program (KOTAKU) is a nationally implemented program in 269 cities/regencies across 34 provinces, serving as a platform or basis for addressing slum areas by integrating various resources and funding sources, including those from the central government, provincial government, cities/regencies, donors, private sector, community, and other stakeholders. One of the areas where the KOTAKU program is implemented is Tembilahan Hilir Subdistrict. Tembilahan Hilir Subdistrict has the highest population density in Indragiri Hilir Regency, with a population of 79,178 people in 2020. Population density is one of the factors contributing to the formation of slum areas. The purpose of this study is to understand how the KOTAKU program is implemented in Tembilahan Hilir Subdistrict. The theoretical concept used is the policy implementation concept according to Charles O. Jones. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the KOTAKU program in Tembilahan Hilir Subdistrict is carried out in accordance with the existing KOTAKU program implementation guidelines but cannot be fully executed due to budget constraints.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and explain how the policy for implementing digital population identity is implemented in the Pekanbaru city population and civil registration service. This research uses implementation theory (Edward III, 1980) which is divided into four indicators, namely Communication, Resources, Disposition and Bureaucratic Structure. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection was obtained through interviews. The results of this research show that the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Service has implemented the four indicators of successful implementation well. The factors that hinder the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Service are the lack of knowledge and awareness from the community regarding the importance of IKD, the community's infrastructure such as not having a smartphone, and data packages and networks that are sometimes problematic. Based on the results and discussion, researchers suggest that the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Service should be further intensified by maximizing social media platforms, making circulars as a form of strengthening the acceleration of IKD implementation.

Abstract

Mitigation is a series of efforts to reduce disaster risk, both through physical development and awareness and improvement of the ability to face disaster threats. The purpose of this research is to find out and explain how the Implementation of Earthquake Disaster Mitigation and the inhibiting factors of the Bukittinggi City Regional Disaster Management Agency in implementing mitigation of earthquake disaster management. This research uses Edward III's theory which is divided into 4 (four) indicators, namely Communication, Resources, Disposition and Bureaucratic Structure. This research was conducted with descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Earthquake Disaster Management Mitigation in Bukittinggi cannot be said to be completely perfect or running optimally. The factors that hinder the Bukittinggi City Regional Disaster Management Agency are the lack of budget for disaster mitigation because it is affected by the city budget, inadequate facilities or facilities and infrastructure, lack of resources or experts in disaster risk reduction, officer skills still need further coaching. Based on the results and discussion, the researchers suggest that funding or budget from the government should be more concerned for the implementation of disaster mitigation including for earthquake mitigation, further increase resources in providing understanding to the community about the importance of disaster mitigation, and provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, provide understanding for the government through the education office to make mitigation or disaster management a subject in schools, provide notification from the region in the form of education ideally vulnerable points for evacuation and gathering points.

Abstract

MSMEs have the potential to support economic growth in driving the national economy. In an effort to increase the productivity of batik MSMEs, the government created Kuantan Singingi Regent Regulation Policy No. 36 of 2021. This policy states that batik is made into ASN and honorary uniforms. Every ASN and honorary employee is required to wear Kuansing Batik every Thursday. With this regulation, it is hoped that demand for batik production will increase so that it can increase the economic value for batik MSMEs in Kuantan Singingi. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that with the Kuantan Singingi Regent's regulatory policy No. 36 of 2021 concerning efforts to increase the productivity of Batik MSMEs in Kuantan Singingi Regency, there has been an increase in demand for Kuantan Singingi batik. Apart from the Kuantan Singingi Regent's regulation No. 36 of 2021, the production of Kuantan Singingi batik MSMEs is also assisted by the Kuantan Singingi Regency Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives, Trade and Industry Service as an instructor and provides training to Kuntan Singingi batik craftsmen. Apart from that, the Department of Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives, Trade and Industry of Kuantan Singingi Regency introduces Kuantan Singingi batik to the wider community by participating in various expos both nationally and internationally. The factors inhibiting the implementation of the Kuantan Singingi Regent's regulatory policy No. 36 of 2021 as an effort to increase the productivity of Batik MSMEs in Kuantan Singingi Regency are the lack of capital and high selling prices to consumers.

Abstract

The Dumai City Government, through the Environmental Service, is trying to prevent abrasion by carrying out rehabilitation and reforestation by planting mangroves in coastal areas. The increase in sea levels that occurs throughout the world is also a factor in abrasion, resulting in erosion of the coastline in Dumai City. The Dumai City Environmental Service as a Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) functions to assist the Regional Head in carrying out government duties, especially those related to environmental problems in areas that are expected to play an active role in overcoming environmental damage problems such as preventing coastal erosion. In carrying out its duties and authority, the Dumai City Environmental Service has a legal basis which serves as a guideline in preventing environmental damage problems such as abrasion in the coastal areas of Dumai City, this is contained in Dumai City Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2017 concerning environmental protection and management. This research is a qualitative research type with a case study approach, the required data such as primary data and secondary data are obtained through interviews and documentation and then analyzed based on the research problem. The results of this research show that conservation has evolved from exclusive protection to inclusive protection, involving communities and other stakeholders. Today's conservation is about how to control exploitative human behavior and practices. Efforts made by the Environmental Service are conducting outreach, mangrove planting activities with the community, community complaint facilities.
