Abstract

This study was conducted because several problems related to the quality of healthcare services at Parung Panjang Community Health Center (Puskesmas) were still found based on the five SERVQUAL dimensions. The tangible dimension showed limited waiting space for pregnant women and suboptimal medical waste management. The reliability dimension indicated that internal service monitoring was not optimal. The responsiveness dimension revealed long waiting times and shortages of several medicines. The assurance dimension showed that service training had not been provided to staff, while the empathy dimension reflected good service. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through a literature review, observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Informants included the Head of the Healthcare Services Division of the Bogor Regency Health Office, the Head of the Community Health Center, medical staff, and non-medical staff. Data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation, while data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that healthcare service quality is generally good, particularly in the empathy dimension. However, improvements are still needed in facilities and infrastructure, internal monitoring, service quality, medicine availability, and service training for both medical and non-medical staff.

Abstract

This article examines the coverage of the 1963 Games of the New Emerging Forces (GANEFO) in the November 1963 edition of the Merdeka newspaper. The event arose from tensions between Indonesia and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) following the 4th Asian Games in 1962 and simultaneously embodied President Sukarno’s concept of the conflict between the Old Established Forces (OLDEFO) and the New Emerging Forces (NEFO). The study employs historical methods, including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography, to examine how Merdeka constructed the meaning of GANEFO from its preparation and implementation through to its conclusion. The results of the study show that *Merdeka* framed GANEFO as a political instrument of anti-imperialism, a forum for solidarity among postcolonial nations, proof of Indonesia’s capacity as a host, and an arena for athletic achievement. Compared to previous studies that emphasized diplomatic conflicts, the formation of political alliances, or Indonesia’s relationship with the IOC, this research highlights the process by which daily media narratives transformed sporting events into discourses of nationalism and the shaping of an international image. These representations reinforced public pride and projected Indonesia as a leader of the New Emerging Forces, although they remained influenced by editorial compromises and the political constraints on the press during the Guided Democracy era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model in improving students’ learning outcomes on taxation material in Class XI of SMAN 1 Lewolema during the 2025/2026 academic year. This study employed a classroom action research design involving 30 Class XI students. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model effectively improved students’ learning outcomes in economics, particularly on taxation material. In Cycle I, the average student score was 73.50, with 40% of students achieving the minimum mastery criterion (KKM), while 60% (18 students) had not yet met the required standard. Since the results were not satisfactory, the research continued to Cycle II. The average score increased to 82.06, with 80% of students (24 students) achieving the KKM and only 20% (6 students) remaining below the required standard. Based on the results of observations, tests, and documentation, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model successfully improved students’ learning outcomes on taxation material in Class XI of SMAN 1 Lewolema during the 2025/2026 academic year.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Juz Amma memorization program, its impact on the academic development of early childhood students, the correlation between these two variables, and the success factors at TK Al-Anshor Tembung. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved the school principal, two educators, and 25 six-year-old students from Group B as the primary subjects. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. For data analysis, the researchers applied the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which comprises data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that the memorization program is conducted systematically using the talaqqi method, habituation, muraja'ah, individual checks, and routine evaluations. Furthermore, participation in the program significantly enhances children's cognitive and behavioral growth, as evidenced by improved letter recognition, early literacy, memory capacity, attention span, compliance with teacher instructions, and classroom confidence. The study concludes that the program is strongly linked to enhanced academic progress, driven by the students' internal motivation, parental involvement, a supportive religious school climate, and structural consistency. Consequently, the Juz Amma program serves as both a spiritual activity and an effective catalyst for early childhood academic growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the empirical gap between theoretical conceptions and field realities and to analyse the features of Islamic marketing executed by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) at the Padang Bulan Sub-Branch Office. Islamic marketing encompasses not just financial items but also a mission of social justice, education, and da'wah based on fundamental Islamic values including fairness (‘adl), honesty (şidq), transparency (tablīgh), and trustworthiness (amanah). This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, triangulating data through in-depth interviews, field observations, and recording. Internal bank employees, such as marketing officials and customer service agents, as well as current bank clients, made up the main informants. The Miles and Huberman model was used for data analysis, which included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drafting. The findings show that a marketing gap still exists even though BSI KCP Padang Bulan essentially incorporates the aspects of rabbaniyyah (theological), akhlaqiyyah (ethical), al-waqi’iyyah (realistic), and al-insaniyyah (humanistic) into its services. Independent consumer comprehension is hampered by the intricacy of sharia terminology in commercial media and low public literacy. As a result, the fundamental factor in closing this gap is still the optimisation of humanistic personal communication, which guarantees that marketing serves as both a profitable tool and a successful medium for sharia muamalah teaching.

Abstract

Financial reporting transparency is a fundamental precondition for maintaining public trust in the banking sector, yet conventional reporting systems remain vulnerable to manipulation. This study examines the influence of blockchain technology adoption, human resource (HR) competency, and government regulation on the financial reporting transparency of conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2019 and 2024. A quantitative approach was employed using secondary data obtained from corporate annual reports and regulations issued by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The research sample was selected through purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results indicate that blockchain adoption has a significant positive effect on financial reporting transparency, while HR competency and government regulation individually show no significant effect. However, the three independent variables simultaneously exert a significant influence on financial reporting transparency. These findings confirm that achieving a transparent and accountable financial reporting system requires the integration of technological advancement, HR capacity building, and consistent regulatory frameworks. This study offers practical implications for regulators and bank management in formulating integrative, technology-based strategies to enhance financial reporting transparency.
