Abstract

Mathematics is an important subject in schools, as well as among other complex subjects. Of the various difficulties of research, it is always difficult for mathematics to be the most important subject for every student. Students have difficulties that can make mistakes when working on math problems. One way to identify the appropriateness of students' responses to math problems is the SOLO taxonomy. SOLO taxonomy plays a role in determining the quality of student responses to the problems faced. Researchers used a Student Textbook entitled "Senang Belajar Matematika Untuk Siswa SD/MI Kelas 5" to classify math problems based on the SOLO taxonomy. This research is a qualitative study using content analysis. The results of the study resulted in prestructural 0%, unistructural 14.1%, multistructural 32%, relational 42.9%, and extended abstract 10.8%. The research result is also a type of mathematical problem with a scale of 156 questions. Not many types of questions with prestructural level are found in this book because the types of questions, in general, are at the beginning of the lesson which is made by the teacher himself. However, the results also show that the level of complexity of questions that are extended to abstract is not too much found in the examples of questions presented in this textbook. It is advisable to add variations to the extended abstract level question, because at this age students are already able to work on questions with a more difficult level of thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to study the effect of literacy with a guided inquiry model on the Science Process Skills of MI Nurul Huda Students, Mojokerto Regency. This research uses quantitative research. The type of approach is descriptive quantitative research, namely research to provide an overview of the symptoms, phenomena, or facts studied by describing the values of independent variables, without intending to connect or compare. From the results of the study, the influence of literacy and guided inquiry on the development of students' science process skills has a value of 78.1%, thus the variable indicates a sufficient category. This means that literacy on the development of science process skills is quite influential for students at MI Nurul Huda

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the numerical literacy analysis, find out the number of characteristics HOTS and calculate the percentage of questions that meet the characteristics HOTS and numerical literacy in SD / MI exam questions for the 2020/2021 school year. This research uses descriptive qualitative research techniques. As well as using data analysis techniques during the field and using the type of content analysis or document. The results showed that of the 3 aspects of the numerical literacy analysis most indikators were obtained in the aspect of making decisions, the coverage of K13 mathematics, and numbers. The highest number of HOTS question characteristics is found in problem solving, analytical, multiplication, contextual problems, and C3 level 2 operational aspects of the verb question. The highest percentage indikators in numerical literacy characteristics is decision making aspect, K13 mathematical coverage, and numeral. The highest percentage of indikators on the characteristics of HOTS, problem solving, analytical thinking, mathematical, scientific and technological utilization, and C3 level 2 KKO.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of learning science in schools which are generally carried out using the teacher centered learning model, which means that only the teacher is active in learning. So this study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models with science process skills on students' active learning. This research is a quantitative study using the pre-experimental method type one group pretest posttest. The population and sample in this study were 30 students in class VA at SD Pilang 1, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency. In this study, researchers used the pretest as the first benchmark before being given treatment by researchers to get an average result of 52.01. Then the second benchmark uses the posttest after being given treatment by the researcher to get an average result of 87.15. In this study, the tcount was 24.0792 and the ttable was 2.04522964. The conclusion of the research results shows that there is a significant influence between the use of problem based learning models on science process skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the drill method on learning outcomes in cursive writing skills on theme 6 caring for animals and plants, sub-theme 4 caring for plants for second grade students of SDN 2 Kedunggebang Banyuwangi. This study used a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group research design. The research subjects were class IIA and class II B at SDN 2 Kedunggebang. Based on the results of research analyzed with the help of SPSS version 25, it shows that there is an effectiveness of the drill method on learning outcomes in cursive writing skills on theme 6 caring for animals and plants sub-theme 4 caring for plants for second grade students at SDN 2 Kedunggebang Banyuwangi as evidenced by tcount > ttable (5,453 >1,690). While the calculation of the relative effectiveness test was obtained at 57.48% and included in the category of moderate effectiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe, to determine the factors that influence, and to find out the efforts to increase the ability to use capital letters for fifth grade students at SDN Balungkidul 02 Jember in writing essays based on the main idea. This research uses interview and documentation method. The results and conclusions of this study is that the average value of the ability to use capital letters is 9 or 33% belonging to the sufficient category. These results are influenced by factors of student interest in reading, use of learning tools and media, encouragement from parents and the level of intelligence of students. Furthermore, efforts were made to improve by means of teachers using multimethods in learning, teachers guiding students gradually, teachers providing motivation and encouragement to students, and the family environment providing motivation and encouragement for students

Abstract

Media is one component in learning that is very important because the media is an intermediary to convey messages from the communicator to the communicant. The use of media in learning aims so that students can easily understand the material presented by the teacher so that the learning objectives can be achieved. So this study aims to describe the effectiveness of using quiz maker-based interactive media in online learning at SDIT Mumtazul Quran Tambakboyo Tuban. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SDIT Mumtazul Quran Tambakboyo Tuban in the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 14 students. This research is an experimental research type using One – Group Pretest Posttest Design as the data analysis technique. The research instrument used is a test sheet. The results showed that the results of the N-gain calculation of 0.387 indicated the medium category and the paired sample T test test obtained 4.522 results with a significance of 0.000, so it can be said that there is a significant difference between the pre-test before using the quiz maker-based interactive media and the post-test after using the quiz maker-based interactive media. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that quiz maker-based interactive media is effectively used in online learning

Abstract

This research is conducted to solve the problems that exist in the second grade students of SDN Plumbungan Sukodono Sidoarjo. The purpose of this study was to develop an interesting Claws Box learning media at Plumbungan Sukodono Elementary School, Sidoarjo. This type of research is development research. The method used by this researcher uses the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques uses in this study were validation of material development and validation of development media development and validation of lesson plans development. The stages carried out by the researchers consist of three stages, namely: Analysis. Design and Development. The result of the assessment from the material expert validator showed a percentage score of 87% which was categorized as “Very Valid”. While the results of the media assesments developed by researchers have been validated by media expert validators with a percentage score of 81% which is categorized as “Very Valid”. As well as the results of the assessment of the RPP expert validators showed a percentage score of 75% which was categorized as “Valid”. This Shows that the Claws Box media is feasible to use in the learning process

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' speaking skills using the mind mapping method in compiling the main ideas of a concept into a mind map that is easily accessible by students. Lack of enthusiasm, confidence, and good intonation of pronunciation in students which causes less than optimal in speaking skills. The object of this research is the third grade students of SDN Sidoklumpuk Sidoarjo. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The term in English is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is a research activity carried out in the classroom using a research design according to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The data collection techniques used by the research are interviews, tests and observations. In the first cycle there were 5 students who finished with a score of 75 and 23 students who had not finished, the presentation of the success criteria for the first cycle was 17.8% and the results of observing student activities in the first cycle learning process were 56.25%. Furthermore, in the second cycle there were 25 students who achieved the success criteria, 3 students had not reached the success criteria, the student activity in the second cycle learning process was 93.75%. Thus, the implementation of learning using the mind mapping method can improve the speaking skills of third grade students at SDN Sidoklumpuk Sidoarjo

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning activity of fourth grade students at SDN 001 Bangkinang. One solution to overcome this problem is to use the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student activeness in Class IV SDN 001 Bangkinang. This research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The time of the study was carried out from August to September 2021. The subjects of this research were 17 grade IV students, with 8 male students and 9 female students. The collection technique is in the form of documentation, and observation. The results of this study indicate that the learning activity of fourth graders at SDN 001 Bangkinang in the classical completeness pre-action reached 35.29% with an average score of 64,36 criteria (CA), in the first cycle of the first meeting it reached 41.17% with an average score. 68,73 criteria (CA), in the second meeting it increased to 52.94% with an average value of 71,93 criteria (A). In cycle 2, the first meeting increased to 64.70% with an average value of 75,96 criteria (A), in the second meeting it increased to 76.47% with an average value of 80,00 criteria (A). It was concluded that using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model could increase the learning activity of fourth graders at SDN 001 Bangkinang
