Students interest in science learning must be increased by choosing appropriate learning methods so that they can increase students learning motivation and be able to increase students interest in learning. the practicum method that can increase students motivation to learn science. learning with the practicum method will be more meaningful if it is equipped with appropriate teaching materials, namely a practicum module. the practical module will be more functional if the problem taken comes from the students closest environment, namely using an ethnoscience approach and integrated with an approach that triggers students to solve the problem, namely STEM. so this study aims to produce a practical module that is integrated with STEM with the help of a valid and practical etnoscience approach. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE (Analysis Design Development Implementation Evaluation) development model. The impelmentation and Evaluation stages were not carried out due to time and cost constrains. The research was conducted using an instrument consisting of teacher interview sheets, validity test questionnaires and practicality tests. The research results are processed using the conventional formula in the form of percentages and grouped according to certain categories. The results of the research conducted are the results oh the validity test of the practicum module by the validator of 86% with a very valid category. The two results of the practicality test by the teacher are 99% in the very pratical category and the results of the practicality test by students are 88%. Then the data obtained shows that the development of science practicum module integrated STEM on energy topics using ethnoscience approachis valid and practical.

The COVID-19 pandemic period requires the learning process to be carried out online. The observations show the teaching materials used are still limited and are considered not yet able to help students learn independently. Electronic teaching materials are one of the solutions to support the learning process, one of which is electronic books. This study aims to produce an integrated science e-book with a valid and practical discovery learning model based on local wisdom. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Plomp development model. This plomp model is limited the one to one stage only. The resulting prototype was tested for validity by three validators, namely the Science Education lecturer, FMIPA UNP. Practicality tests were conducted on two science teachers at SMP Negeri 34 Padang. The instruments used are validity and practicality questionnaires. The results of the validity test obtained average kappa moment value of 0.81 the very high validity category. The results of the practicality test obtained average kappa moment value of 0.86 the very high validity category. Be concluded the integrated science e-book with local wisdom-based discovery learning model for SMP/MTs is valid and practical.

This research aims to produce a teaching material of an interactive e-module based on ethnoscience for energy in the living system that is valid and practical. The research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, but the research is only limited to the development stage due to the limited research time. The product of this research is designed using the application of Articulate Storyline 3. Based on the research that has been done, the data obtained from the validity and practicality test results. First, the results of the interactive e-module validity test by experts or lecturers obtained a kappa moment average of 0.92 with a very high validity category. Second, the results of the interactive e-module practicality test by the teacher are in the very practical category with a kappa moment average obtained of 0.96. Third, the results of the interactive e-module practicality test by students with a kappa moment average value of 0.93 are in the very practical category. Based on the data obtained, it can be seen that the integrated science interactive e-module based on ethnoscience of energy in living systems as a learning resource for 7th grade is valid and practical.

This research is motivated by the limited availability of integrated science teaching materials according to the demands of the 2013 curriculum and learning is not yet based on ethnoscience. This study aims to develop an ethnoscience-based integrated science e-module on the topic of human excretory system that is valid and practical. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using a-4D model with four stages, namely: define, design, develop and disseminate. The validity and practicality test instruments were in the form of a questionnaire with product validators from three science education lecturers, while the practicality test was carried out by 2 science teachers and 26 junior high school students in class VIII. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the data analysis, the validity and practicality of the product were obtained with an average validity of 87.36 with a very valid category. The average value of the practice of using integrated science e-modules according to teachers and students is 92.96 and 86.89, each in the very practical category. So it can be concluded that the shared-type integrated science e-module based on ethnoscience on the human excretory system material is valid and practical to use.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Learning Cycle 5E model on student learning outcomes on the material of the human excretory system. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan for the academic year 2021-2022. The method used in this study is a Quasi Experiment method, with a research design that is Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study was class VIII.1 as the experimental class which was treated using the Learning Cycle 5E model and class VIII.2 as the control class which was treated using the Conventional model. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is a written test instrument in the form of multiple choice as many as 20 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty index and discriminatory power using the help of Anates V4. The hypothesis test used is the Independent Sample T-test with the help of SPSS Version 26 and the value sig = 0.000 < 0.05 with the decision H0 is rejected. The results of this study indicate that the average N-Gain learning outcomes of students using the Learning Cycle 5E model are higher than the average N-Gain learning outcomes of students using the Conventional model on the human excretory system material in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of e-comic media based Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in improving motivation to learn natural sciences students of Class VIII SMPN 40 Padang. In this research, the control class was given conventional learning, while the experimental class was given learning with E-comic media based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This type of research is quasi Experimental Research with Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The sample in this study was Class VIII.1 (Control class) and Class VIII.2 (experimental class)with a total of 64 students. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire of motivation to learn science. The results showed the N-Gain value in the control class was -0.08 and the experimental class was 0.06 and the low interpretation, with the low interpretation of the N-Gain causing no significant effect between learning using CTL based e-comic media and conventional learning models. As the results of the hypothesis test obtained that the tcount gainscore is 0.983, while the ttable is 1.999 at the significance level α = 0.05 with dk = 62. So it can be concluded that tcount < ttable (Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted) which means that the use of e-comic media based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is not effective in increasing students science learning motivation on the material of the human digestive system.

The background of this research is the lack of application of learning models that are appropriate to the learning material in class VIII SMP N 5 Padang, so that the lack of creativity of students when learning results in a decrease in students' cognitive abilities. So it is necessary to apply a learning model that can hone students' cognitive abilities such as the Project Based Learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the cognitive abilities of Grade VIII students of SMP/MTs in the material on the digestive system in humans. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a non- equivalent post test only control group design. The samples used in this study were class VIII 1 and VIII 3 of 60 students. data collection is done by giving posttest questions. The results of the analysis showed that the average presentation of the cognitive abilities of the experimental class students was 73.6 and the average presentation of the control class was 56.1. Based on the t test obtained Tcount = 3.51 and ttable = 1.67 with a significance level of 0.025. So from the results of these calculations tcount is greater than ttable (tcount 3.51 > 1.67 ttable) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the cognitive abilities of Grade VIII students of SMP/MTs on the subject of the digestive system in humans.
