Abstract

This article will begin with an overview of REBT theory before moving on to a discussion of the ethics governing the field of psychology. This paper will try to answer the question whether Ellis's (1955) REBT theory can be used independently during therapy sessions, or whether it requires a combination of ethics and values to provide the best service to clients or not. Ethical considerations must be applied to the application of theory to improve it and make it more useful in therapy sessions, therefore it is important to determine how well theory can function on its own while still meeting the needs of its clients.

Abstract

Psychological assessment is an essential aspect of the implementation of counseling services. However, efforts to study needs by school counselors have yet to be optimal. The impact is the preparation of counseling service programs, and the level of accuracy in disclosing the psychological conditions of students and clients decreases. The process of downstream and disseminating the results of this research was carried out through community service activities to increase the distribution and utilization of research results for guidance and counseling teachers in Indonesia. This activity was carried out within two years. The method used is advanced training for school counselors in all districts/cities in West Sumatra with a focus on several schools appointed by partners, upgrading applications based on FGDs, improving application management, and commercializing the POTENSIA Android application. So far, the achievements and progress of program implementation have been the implementation of activities by presenting more than 60 school counselors from all over West Sumatra using the workshop method.

Abstract

In efforts to achieve the goals of learning Mathematics there are various problems that make the learning objectives not optimally achieved, one of which is due to difficulties in learning Mathematics. Indicators for determining student learning difficulties are students not being able to master the subject matter in accordance with the allotted time, students obtaining low learning achievement ratings compared to other students and students not being able to achieve learning achievements according to their abilities, this requires collaboration from the teacher BK and Mathematics teachers in overcoming it. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The subjects in this study were counseling teachers, math teachers and 2 class XI students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data were analyzed through several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that there is collaboration between the counseling teacher and the mathematics teacher in alleviating students' learning difficulties. The establishment of close collaboration between the two parties, students not only overcome their problems but students can develop fully and optimally.

Abstract

The success of Indonesia's health development is inseparable from the active participation of the community. One of the community-based health efforts that has been developed is the the elderly health care center . The level of cadres' ability in managing the health care for the elderly greatly influences the effectiveness of the health care, it is necessary to hold cadre training to improve the capabilities of the elderly Posyandu cadres. The results of interviews with the Community Service Team stated that the elderly health care are already running but are felt to be less than optimal, due to the small number of health care cadres and the limited knowledge of cadres. Service methods used for cadre training are lectures, role play, demonstrations as well as mentoring as well as monitoring and evaluation. The material provided was 6 material with activities carried out on June 2019 - September 2019 for 5 days in  RW 01 of Ulak Karang Selatan Village. After the training activities were carried out there was an increase in the average knowledge that is with an average of 86.3 and an increase in cadre skills with an average of 85.1 after the cadre training activities were carried out.

Abstract

This study is objective to describe the task aversiveness and procrastination of academics, to analyze the influences between task aversiveness to procrastination of academics and to analyze the relationship between task aversiveness to procrastination of academics. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. Identification of the problem in the study, there is a correlation between procrastination and task aversiveness separately strong and stable. The Purpose of study is test of connection task aversiveness student with procrastination academic. In this study, researchers use a quantitative method with a descriptive correlative approach. The population in their study were 575 students.Amount sample in this study was 236 students which was taken by using Slovin formula. The Sample was taken from each different class, then the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique was used. On this research, there are two types of variables. They are variable free (independent) and variable bound (dependent). As for the free variable or the independent variablein this study is task aversiveness, while the bound variable or the dependent variable is academic procrastination. In this study, the data used is interval data. As for variable in this study is task aversiveness and procrastination academic. The research instrument used is a questionnaire using Likert Scale. The results of this research show 64.41 % of students have high task aversiveness. This shows that students who perceive task aversion bothered or are not comfortable with duty are in the high category. On procrastination academic shows 60.59 % have high academic procrastination behavior. This shows the behavior of procrastination academic student high category because many procrastinating students do academic duty in the period of time you want. From the hypothesis it is found that task aversion influences significantly to the procrastination of academics. We conclude that they are connection task aversiveness significantly to academic procrastination behavior . That is, the more and more high task aversiveness, then the behavior of academic procrastination will also increase, and vice versa .

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya siswa SMA yang melakukan prokrastinasi akademik sehingga tugas belajar siswa tidak dapatdiselesaikan tepat waktu. Prokrastinasi akademik ini karena adakecenderungan siswa menyepelekan kegiatan akademik dan mengutamakankegiatan bersama teman sebaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmendeskripsikan hubungan konformitas teman sebaya dengan prokrastinasiakademik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metodedeskriptif dan korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 210 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket konformitas teman sebaya dan prokrastinasi akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat konformitasteman sebaya siswa adalah tinggi dengan rata-rata skor capaian  148,5(72,4%) dan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik siswa juga tinggi dengan rata-rata skor capaian 123,5 (82,3%). Terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antarakonformitas teman sebaya dengan prokrastinasi akademik siswa di era new normal  dengan besar korelasi 0,640 dan signifikansi 0,000. Artinya semakintinggi konformitas teman sebaya siswa maka akan semakin tinggi pula prokrastinasi akademik yang dilakukan oleh siswa
