Abstract

The study involved a total of 217 respondents. consisting of key stakeholders in higher education, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, academic staff, and administrative personnel. The respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique to ensure they had relevant experience and understanding of academic data management systems. Among the participants, the majority were students, representing approximately 65%, followed by academic staff at 20%, and administrative personnel at 15%. In terms of gender distribution, 54% were female and 46% were male. Most respondents were aged between 18 and 30 years, reflecting a digitally active population familiar with emerging technologies. Additionally, a significant proportion of respondents reported prior exposure to digital academic systems, while a smaller percentage demonstrated awareness of blockchain technology applications in education. This distribution ensures that the collected data reflects diverse perspectives within the academic ecosystem and supports the reliability of the analysis conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS).

Abstract

The increasing digitalization of higher education has created growing demands for secure and transparent academic data management. As a background, conventional academic information systems remain vulnerable to data manipulation, unauthorized access, and difficulties in verifying the authenticity of academic records. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate the role of blockchain technology in enhancing academic data security and transparency within higher education institutions. The method employed in this research is a quantitative approach using a survey questionnaire distributed to 173 respondents consisting of students, academic staff, and administrative personnel from various higher education institutions. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine the relationships between blockchain technology adoption, academic data security, and academic transparency. The results reveal that blockchain technology has a significant positive effect on academic data security by providing decentralized data storage, cryptographic protection, and immutable transaction records. In addition, blockchain implementation significantly improves academic transparency by enabling reliable verification, traceability, and authenticity of academic information and credentials. The findings suggest that blockchain technology can minimize the risk of data tampering while strengthening stakeholder trust in academic information systems. In conclusion, blockchain technology serves as an effective solution for improving academic data security and transparency, contributing to the development of a trustworthy and data-driven governance framework in higher education institutions.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital learning technologies has transformed educational practices by enabling more personalized and accessible learning experiences in e-learning environments. As a Background, adaptive technologies have emerged as a promising approach to address diverse learner needs and improve educational accessibility. The Objective of this study is to examine the influence of adaptive technologies on personalized learning experiences and their impact on educational accessibility in e-learning environments. The Method employed a quantitative research approach using a survey distributed to 334 respondents who had experience using e-learning platforms. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS to evaluate the relationships among the proposed constructs. The Results indicate that adaptive technologies significantly enhance personalized learning experiences by providing tailored learning content, individualized feedback, and flexible learning pathways. Furthermore, the findings reveal that personalized learning experiences have a positive and significant effect on educational accessibility, enabling learners with different backgrounds, abilities, and learning preferences to engage more effectively in the learning process. Adaptive technologies were also found to have a direct positive influence on educational accessibility. In Conclusion, the study demonstrates that the integration of adaptive technologies plays a crucial role in fostering personalized learning and improving educational accessibility within e-learning environments. These findings provide valuable insights for educators, educational institutions, and e-learning developers in designing inclusive and learner-centered digital learning systems that support diverse educational needs and promote equitable access to quality education.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices, including early childhood education, through the integration of educational applications that support interactive and engaging learning experiences. However, empirical evidence regarding the contribution of these applications to learning effectiveness among young learners remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to examine the role of educational applications in enhancing learning effectiveness by investigating their relationship with learning engagement and outcomes. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 188 early childhood education teachers who actively utilize educational applications in classroom learning. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate the measurement and structural models. The findings indicate that the use of educational applications significantly enhances learning effectiveness by increasing student engagement, supporting interactive learning activities, and facilitating more efficient instructional delivery. Educational applications also positively influence children’s motivation and participation, which contribute to improved learning outcomes and classroom experiences. These findings suggest that technology-supported learning environments can effectively complement conventional teaching approaches in early childhood education. In conclusion, educational applications represent valuable instructional tools for improving learning effectiveness and supporting the quality of early childhood education. The findings provide practical implications for educators, school administrators, and policymakers in promoting effective educational technology integration to create engaging and sustainable learning environments for young children

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities for improving educational governance through more efficient decision-making, data management, transparency, and accountability across increasingly complex educational systems worldwide. However, its implementation in education requires alignment with ethical values and Islamic principles to ensure that technological advancement does not undermine fairness, privacy, responsibility, and human-centered decision-making. This study aims to examine the role of AI in strengthening Sharia-based educational governance and identify the opportunities, benefits, and challenges associated with its implementation. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing relevant academic publications that discuss AI applications, educational governance, Islamic ethics, and Sharia-based principles. The literature was reviewed systematically to identify recurring themes, relationships, and research gaps concerning the integration of AI into educational governance. The results indicate that AI can strengthen Sharia-based educational governance by supporting data-driven decision-making, improving administrative efficiency, enhancing transparency, and facilitating more accountable educational services. Nevertheless, the findings also reveal challenges related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, technological dependency, ethical responsibility, and the need for human oversight. In conclusion, AI has significant potential to support Sharia-based educational governance when its implementation is guided by Islamic ethical principles, transparency, accountability, justice, and responsible data management. This study contributes a conceptual understanding of how AI can be integrated into educational governance while maintaining the fundamental values of Sharia.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing use of educational applications in early childhood education and the need to understand how digital technologies contribute to meaningful learning experiences, particularly through interactive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning activities for young children within an effective and sustainable learning context. The background of this study highlights that educational applications can provide interactive and engaging learning environments, but their effectiveness depends on how teachers integrate and facilitate technology during classroom activities. The object of this study is the interaction between teachers, educational applications, and young children in the development of early childhood learning experiences. This study employs a qualitative case study approach to explore how teachers utilize educational applications, manage technology-supported activities, and respond to children’s engagement and learning needs. Data are designed to be collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers, and relevant learning documentation, followed by thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns and meanings. The expected results indicate that educational applications can enhance children’s participation, attention, exploration, and interaction when supported by appropriate teacher guidance and purposeful learning activities. The findings are also expected to demonstrate that teachers remain essential in selecting suitable applications, adapting digital activities to children’s developmental characteristics, and maintaining meaningful teacherchild interaction. In conclusion, educational applications have the potential to enhance early childhood learning experiences when technology is integrated as a complementary instructional tool rather than a replacement for teacher involvement.
