Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on the use of interactive digital media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) that explicitly integrates character values, particularly tolerance. The objective of this study is to analyze the innovation and implementation of PAI instructional media based on Heyzine Flipbook in class 8A of SMP 1 Kudus. This field research employed data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation, analyzed through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The findings reveal that digital media developed using Canva and Heyzine Flipbook can create engaging and accessible learning experiences aligned with the characteristics of Generation Z students. This media promotes active participation, enhances learning motivation, and strengthens students’ understanding of tolerance within the context of PAI instruction. The results indicate that the integration of character values into interactive digital media holds significant potential for fostering inclusive religious attitudes. However, limitations such as students’ unfamiliarity with digital media and the narrow scope of the sample highlight areas for future development. This study contributes meaningfully to the advancement of technology-based PAI learning media while promoting the reinforcement of character values in secondary education.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate among university graduates reflects a gap between academic competence and work readiness, which in turn affects students’ subjective well-being. This study aims to investigate the relationship between work readiness and subjective well-being among students participating in internship programs. Employing a quantitative approach with a correlational design, the study involved 353 active university students in Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using researcher-developed questionnaires on work readiness and subjective well-being, and analyzed using Spearman’s rho correlation. The results indicate a strong and significant positive relationship between work readiness and subjective well-being (r = 0.775; p < 0.05), suggesting that higher work readiness is associated with higher levels of subjective well-being. These findings highlight the critical role of internships in strengthening professional competencies while also supporting students’ psychological well-being. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for educational institutions, industry stakeholders, and government bodies to design structured, holistic internship programs oriented toward character development and mental health support. Additionally, the study opens avenues for further exploration into other contributing factors such as social support and the quality of internship programs in enhancing student readiness and well-being.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a nutritional issue that poses serious risks to pregnancy and fetal development, such as low birth weight (LBW), prematurity, and stunting. In the working area of Anuntodea Tipo Health Center, cases of pregnant women with upper arm circumference (MUAC) < 23.5 cm, an indicator of CED, are still being reported. This study aims to improve the nutritional status of pregnant women at risk of CED through nutrition education and the provision of locally sourced supplementary food (PMT). A quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design without a control group was employed. The subjects consisted of 20 pregnant women with CED who participated in weekly nutrition education sessions and received PMT for 12 weeks. Body weight and MUAC measurements were taken before and after the intervention and analyzed descriptively and using paired t-tests. The results showed an average weight gain of 1.4 kg and an average MUAC increase of 1.6 cm. Statistical analysis confirmed that these improvements were significant (p < 0.05). Additionally, participants showed increased knowledge and awareness of nutritious food consumption. The study concludes that the combination of nutrition education and locally sourced PMT is effective in improving the nutritional status of pregnant women with CED. Similar programs are recommended for replication in areas with high CED prevalence, with the active involvement of health cadres and the sustainable use of local food resources.

Abstract

This study examines the role of transformational leadership in enhancing employee performance at SDN Brani Wetan 1, a public elementary school in Probolinggo Regency. The research is grounded in the limited exploration of the impact of transformational leadership on staff motivation and institutional achievements at the elementary school level, despite growing interest in educational leadership models. A qualitative case study design was employed, involving 11 purposively selected participants, including the principal, teachers, and administrative staff. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed thematically using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that the principal demonstrates key characteristics of transformational leadership—such as inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—which positively influence teacher motivation, collaboration, and performance. The study concludes that transformational leadership plays a significant role in fostering a conducive work environment and improving staff performance. Theoretically, the study contributes to the discourse on leadership in primary education, while practically, it recommends enhancing principals’ leadership capacities and supporting policies that encourage adaptive and participatory leadership styles.

Abstract

The implementation of guidance and supervision in the management of parking services in Padang City has not yet operated optimally, as evidenced by the ongoing issues within the current parking system. This study aims to analyze the forms and effectiveness of the guidance and oversight conducted by the Padang City Department of Transportation in parking management. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of guidance remains largely formalistic and has yet to address educational aspects or significantly enhance the overall professionalism of parking attendants. Meanwhile, supervision is limited to specific times and locations, failing to reflect comprehensive and continuous monitoring. The study concludes that to establish an orderly, transparent parking system that contributes to Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD), it is essential to strengthen human resource capacity, improve supervision mechanisms, and foster closer collaboration between the government and the community. Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on the meaning and understanding parents hold regarding early childhood education, despite its significant impact on character development and the effectiveness of early childhood education programs. The objective of this research is to deeply explore how parents perceive and understand their roles in educating young children, particularly in navigating the challenges of parenting in the digital era. Employing a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design, the study involved four parents of students at PAUD Al-Ansor Bina Bangsa, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that parents perceive their roles as guides, mentors, and role models, carried out through emotional involvement and spiritual closeness. These findings reinforce the relevance of parental involvement theory and the authoritative parenting style, which emphasizes a balance between responsiveness and structure in early childhood education. The main conclusion is that parental involvement in child-rearing is not merely a functional act, but a reflective process that integrates value awareness, emotional connection, and moral responsibility. The study offers theoretical contributions to the literature on the meaning of parenting and practical recommendations for early childhood education institutions and policymakers to strengthen parenting programs grounded in reflection, values, and active support amid the challenges of the digital age.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on collaborative organic waste management through black soldier fly (maggot) cultivation in Padang City, despite its significant potential to reduce organic waste generated by households and similar sources. The aim of this research is to analyze the forms of collaboration among stakeholders in an organic waste management program based on black soldier fly cultivation. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, using purposive sampling to identify key informants. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that communication serves as the primary mechanism reinforcing coordination among the Environmental Agency, CSR division of PT Semen Padang, and maggot cultivation groups. Although community outreach remains limited, the frequency of both formal and informal interactions has led to effective communication. Trust has developed through PT Semen Padang’s tangible support in the form of infrastructure, technical training, and mentorship, contributing to improved productivity and cultivation quality. Collaborative commitment is evident in the active roles of the Environmental Agency as regulator and facilitator, PT Semen Padang as a resource provider, and maggot groups as technical managers. Maggot cultivation has proven to be an innovative and economically valuable solution for organic waste reduction, aligning with the principles of sustainable environmental development.

Abstract

The primary challenge faced by leather wallet artisans in Babakan Jaya Village lies in limited marketing capabilities, which still rely on conventional methods such as word-of-mouth promotion and local networks. This community service program aims to enhance the artisans’ understanding and skills in digital marketing, particularly through the use of social media as a broader and more effective promotional tool. The methods implemented included classical training on the basics of digital marketing, hands-on product photography sessions, social media account creation, and on-site mentoring at production houses to identify challenges and provide contextual solutions. The results showed significant improvement across five key indicators: understanding of social media benefits increased by 55%, awareness of content consistency rose by 50%, mastery of product photography techniques improved by 50%, ability to craft persuasive product descriptions increased by 50%, and ownership of official Instagram/Facebook accounts rose by 60%. The study concludes that training and mentoring successfully enhanced artisans’ digital marketing capacity and opened up market expansion opportunities. The implications highlight the need for sustained mentoring programs, strengthened digital networking, and improved technological infrastructure to support the sustainable digital transformation of local MSMEs.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology into 21st-century chemistry education is driving a transformation toward more contextual, interactive, and student-centered learning approaches. This study aims to evaluate the impact of structured training on improving teachers’ abilities to design interactive chemistry learning media using Canva and ChatGPT. A quantitative method was employed with a one-group pretest–posttest pre-experimental design, involving 15 chemistry teachers from three Madrasah Aliyah in Central Lombok. The training consisted of hands-on sessions focused on using Canva for visual design and ChatGPT for content development, guided by the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework and the Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu). The results revealed a significant improvement in teachers’ design skills, indicated by an increase in the average score from 58.40 (pretest) to 81.73 (posttest), which was statistically significant according to the paired sample t-test (t = 7.452, p < 0.05). Additionally, participants expressed highly positive perceptions of the training, particularly regarding its relevance, applicability, and contribution to professional development. These findings affirm the effectiveness of integrating digital design platforms and artificial intelligence in enhancing the quality of chemistry instruction. The study underscores the importance of continuous professional development programs to foster technology-based innovative pedagogy.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has significantly transformed consumer behavior, with Tokopedia, one of the largest platforms becoming a central focus for understanding the factors influencing purchase decisions. This study aims to examine the roles of credibility, ease of use, and user reviews in shaping purchase intention among Tokopedia customers. Using a quantitative approach and survey technique, data were collected through online questionnaires distributed to Tokopedia users via purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression to test the contribution of each variable to purchase intention. The results reveal that platform credibility, ease of use, and user reviews all significantly influence consumer purchasing behavior. These three variables enhance user trust, facilitate interaction with the system, and strengthen social influence through peer reviews. The main conclusion is that these factors play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience and fostering purchase intention on Tokopedia. The implications highlight the importance of strategies to strengthen platform reputation, optimize user interface design, and manage reviews as part of developing a competitive e-commerce ecosystem. This study also opens opportunities for further research by considering additional variables such as digital promotion, service quality, and customer loyalty to deepen understanding of consumer behavior in the digital era.
