The Akhlaqul Karimah Journal (JAK) is a journal that publishes articles or research results and critical analysis studies related to Islamic Education Sciences which include Aqidah and Akhlak, Fiqh, Islamic Cultural History, and Quran and Hadith Sciences. Journal of Akhlaqul Karimah (JAK) is published by Samodra Ilmu (Institute for Research, Publishing, and Scientific Journals) Yogyakarta. Published twice a year (March and September). The mission of the Akhlaqul Karimah Journal (JAK) is to disseminate and discuss the results of research and scientific papers on the Science of Aqidah and Akhlak, Fiqh, History of Islamic Culture, and the Science of the Quran and Hadith. This journal is intended as a medium of socialization and communication for researchers , lecturers, teachers, and people who have an interest in Islamic Education, which includes the Science of Aqidah and Akhlak, Fiqh, History of Islamic Culture, and the Science of the Quran and Hadith.

Abstract

Abstract: Strengthening students' character is one of the main goals in the world of education. This study aims to analyze students character stregthening through Al-Islam learning in the School Field Introduction (PLP) program at SMK Muhammadiyah I Surabaya. The research employs a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techiques.The methods used include learning assistance, instilling Islamic character values ??through Al-Islam material, and habituating religious attitudes in teaching and learning activities. The results of the activity show that Al-Islam learning in the PLP program is able to provide a positive contribution to strengthening students' character, especially in aspects of religiosity, discipline, responsibility, and social attitudes. This activity is expected to be one of the sustainable efforts in supporting character education in schools.
