Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan siswa kelas IX terhadap pemecahan masalah menggunakan materi penyajian data. Terdapat empat indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah: memahami masalah, merencanakan masalah, melaksanakan rencana, dan memeriksa kembali. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis deskriptif adalah jenis penelitian yang digunakan dengan metode kualitatif yang dilihat dari hasil tes siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah sebuah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Data analisis pengerjaan siswa dikategorikan ke lima level diataranya sangat kurang, kurang, cukup, baik, sangat baik. Hasil analsisi menunjukan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah masih rendah. Untuk soal nomor satu dikategorikan cukup dan nomor dua dikategorikan kurang Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa terhambat oleh kurangnya pemahaman soal dan kurangnya ketelitian dalam membaca soal.

Abstract

Research and development (Research and Development) by producing products in the form of Mathematics Higer Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions based on culture and local wisdom on homemade pastries (ethnic-MathHOTS). The development model referred to by the researcher is the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) which was adapted into Analysis, Design, Development (ADD). The stages that the research team has done are currently only at the design stage, meaning that the design of the Mathematics Higer Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions based on culture and local wisdom on pastries (ethnic-MathHOTS) that will be made will be consulted with experts consisting of assessment experts. and material experts.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of the application of the blended learning model with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach to the material of a two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) class VIII-E SMP Negeri 18 Surabaya. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The instruments used are critical thinking ability test questions, student activity observation sheets, teacher ability observation sheets in managing learning, and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the blended learning learning model with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach in class VIII-E of SMP Negeri 18 Surabaya was not effective because learning outcomes in students' critical thinking skills obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.28 is categorized as low. Although the other three aspects have met the effective criteria, it is indicated by the effectiveness of student activities in all meetings getting an average of 89.9% which is categorized as very strong, the effectiveness of the teacher's ability is on average 98.4% in the very good category, and student responses to learning show very positive response. This should affect student learning outcomes but in reality it does not affect it, this is because students are less able to recognize and formulate problems, have not been able to solve problems correctly using all SPLDV methods (elimination, substitution, and mixture). Abstract

In this modern era, developments are very rapid in various fields, such as the fields of politics, economics, education, and technology. The development of technology has a very big influence, especially in the field of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the development of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) learning model based on Google Sites as a renewal of mathematics learning in Grade VIII Junior High Schools. Where the method used to describe and describe the data is by analyzing previous studies that have existed through the collection of references from previous journals. The results of data analysis using qualitative data analysis techniques state that in learning using Google Sites, teachers can easily add learning materials in pictures, videos, and assessments; These features can be designed with the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending) learning model. The stages carried out are the process of taking mathematics learning online and offline accompanied by interactions between teachers and students using the comments column provided by the teacher on the google sites site page, while the interactions carried out offline are discussions or questions and answers. Abstract

Creative thinking is one of the 21st century thinking skills, because it allows individuals to adapt quickly to various changes that occur. The integration of e-modules and STEM is expected to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the need for teaching materials in the form of STEM-based e-modules in improving students' mathematical creative thinking skills. The subjects of this study were 14 mathematics teachers and 39 students from various school levels in Indonesia. Data collection is done through a questionnaire technique. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire on the needs of teachers and students for STEM-based e-modules, each with 14 questions and 13 questions. The results showed that teachers and students felt that it was necessary to develop an integrated STEM e-module in improving students' own mathematical creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Numerical ability is ability of individuals to reason logically and mathematically in solving problem related to number. Numerical ability is problem in Al-Isma'iliyah Junior High School. Result of interview with the teacher, it is found that students counting ability are low and students learning behavior are diverse. Counting ability is one that can describe numerical ability. Indicators of numerical ability are; 1) ability to calculate mathematically, 2) think logically, 3) organize information to solve problem, 4) ability to identify patterns of numbers and their relationships and learning behavior can be influenced by cognitive style. This study aims to describe numerical ability of student with Field Dependent cognitive style. Type of research was descriptive qualitative research with the research subject was selected using purposive sampling based on the type of cognitive style. Data were collected by test and interview methods with the instrument are GEFT test, number test and interview guidelines. Student have high numerical ability if he was able to achieve minimum three indicators, medium two indicators, and low maximal one indicator. Results of the study showed that student with Field Dependent cognitive style had low numerical ability because he could’nt achieve all indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimental. Penelitian ini melibatkan 37 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 38 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes yang berbentuk soal uraian sebanyak 2 item soal. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik inferensial dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 25. yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi aritmetika sosial di kelas VII.

Abstract

Dewasa ini karena Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan tatap muka terbatas yang sesuai dengan SKB 4 menteri, maka diperlukan pengawasan orang tua ketika pembelajaran dilakukan di rumah. Orang tua memegang tanggung jawab serta peran penting untuk terlaksananya pembelajaran ini berlangsung, karena peserta didik akan lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu belajarnya di rumah bersama orang tua dan keluarga. Penelitian bertujuan guna : 1) mengetahui pengaruh peran orang tua terhadap hasil beajar Matematika Siswa ketika pembelajaran tatap muka (PTM) terbatas. 2) mengetahui besar hubungan peran orang tua pada hasil belajar Matematika siswa ketika pembelajaran tatap muka (PTM) terbatas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan pengambilan 60 siswa sebagai sampel menggunakan teknik random samplling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket /kuisioner guna mencari data peran orang tua serta dokumentasi guna mencari data hasil belajar matematika siswa. Prosentase dan analisis regresi linier sederhana merupakan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: a) Presentase peran orang tua tergolong dalam kategori “baik” yakni sebesar 68,97%, serta peran orang tua memiliki pengaruh pada hasil belajar matematika siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan signifikansi Fhitung <Ftabel yakni 0,024 <0,05 dengan artian bahwasanya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. b) Besar pengaruh peranorang tua terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 7 SMPN 5 Jombang ketika pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas yakni sebesar 8,5% serta yang 91,1% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Besarnya korelasi antara peran orang tua dan hasil belajar matematika siswa yakni 0,292. Yang memiliki artian bahwa peran orang tua mempunyai hubungan pengaruh yang “rendah” terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, yang ditunjukan dengan tabel interpretasi korelasi yang berada pada interval {r|0,20≤r<0,40}.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the parenting-pattern types applied by parents to their children and the effects of parenting patterns and learning outcomes of social arithmetic material. There are three types of parenting patterns they are democratic parenting, authoritarian parenting, and permissive parenting. From those types of parenting patterns, there will be one type that frequently happens and effects the learning outcomes of social arithmetic materal. The sample in this study use a saturated sample technique. Exposfacto anlyis is the type of research using quantitative methods taken from parental questionnaires and student test results. The instrument uses a parenting-style questionnaire and the result of students’mathematic tests for social arithmetic. The parental-questionnaires results and data on student test results correlated into three groups. The first group is 32 student with democratic parenting patterns they are 11 students with high scores, 15 students with moderate scorse, and six students with low scorse. The secpnd group is 12 students with authoritarian parenting-pattern they are two students with high scores, seven student with medium scores, and three low-scoring students. The last group is 20 students with permissive parenting with low overall scores.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses berpikir siswa saat menyelesaikan masalah ditinjau dari perbedaan gender. Subyek pada penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas VIII A,B yang terdiri dari empat siswa laki-laki dan empat siswa perempuan dengan kategori kemampaun tinggi dan sedang . Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu soal tes dan wawancara. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kualitatif yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa siswa laki-laki berkemampuan tinggi memiliki tipe berpikir konseptual, sedangkan proses berpikir siswa perempuan berkemampuan tinggi memeliki tipe berpikir konseptual. Kemudian hasil analisis data siswa laki-laki berkemampuan rendah memiliki tipe berpikir konseptual, sedangkan proses berpikir siswa perempuan berkemampuan rendah memeliki tipe berpikir tidak terdefinisikan.
