Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the improvement of narrative writing skills using Examples Non Examples models in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 04 Pisang, Padang city. The research subjects were as many as 26 teachers as observers, researchers, and fourth grade students consisting of 11 women and 15 men. The results of the pre-writing phase of the cycle I obtained an average score of 51.4% increased to 88.9% in the second cycle. The results of the research in the writing phase of cycle I obtained an average value of 49.4% increased to 80.57% in cycle II. The results of the research in the first cycle in the post-writing phase of cycle I obtained an average value of 54.4% increased to 87.18% in cycle II. It can be concluded that Examples Non Examples models can improve students' narrative writing skills in elementary school. Keywords: narrative writing,Examples Non Examples.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the improvement of students’ skill intensive reading by using the “Cooperative Script” at class VIA SDN 09 Koto Luar, Padang. The subjects were the teachers and twenty five students of class VI A. This class action research applied both qualitative and quantitative approaches. It was conducted in two cycles. The research result show that there are some improvements. As a whole, their score enhanced from 68,9% in cycle I to 91,5% in cycle II. First, their score in the Pre-reading activity increased from 76% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II. Second, their score in the Whilst-reading activity enhanced from 61% in cycle I to 91% in cycle II. Third, the score increased in post-reading activity from 69,65% in cycle I to  90,5% in  cycle  II.  Thus,  it  is concluded  that  the  the  Cooperative  Script  modelsuccessfully improves students’ skill in intensive reading.                                                                                   Keywords: intensive reading skill, the “coopative script model”

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on student learning outcomes in nets build a simple space V V group Kecamatan Sungai Tarab Kabupaten Tanah Datar, in the even semester of the academic year 2018/2019. This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasy experimental research design. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling. Population of 72, with  sample of this study amounted to 40 people. Based on the research that has been done, obtained t count > t table, (2,02 > 1,72) with α = 0.05 is means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, it meaning there is influence the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model of student learning outcomes in nets build a simple space V V group Kecamatan Sungai Tarab Kabupaten Tanah Datar.

Abstract

This study begins with low learning outcomes geometrical properties in the class IV SDN 13 Gunung Tuleh. This is because teachers are still predominantly use lecture method. And to deliver material geometrical properties needed for effective learning method and fun, so that students can understand the geometrical properties and not feel bored. Implementation of learning through Inkury method is by these steps: 1) the orientation phase, 2) the stage of formulating the problem, 3) the stage of formulating hypotheses, 4) stage of collecting data, 5) stage of formulating conclusions. Research purposes to describe the planning, implementation and learning outcomes attributes geometrical properties with the inquiry method in SDN 13 Class IV Gunung Tuleh Muara Kiawai district Pasaman Barat. This research is action research (class action research), this study used qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study includes (1) Planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) Refeleksi. This study was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were teachers and fourth grade students of SDN 13 Gunung Tuleh. The results showed that the method of inquiry to improve student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of the meeting I pointed assessment of the implementation plan learning percentage of 50% with less criteria, implementation of aspects of the teacher shows the percentage of 57% with less criteria, and implementation aspects of the percentage of students demonstrating less than 54% of the criteria. I Cycle II implementation plan meeting the learning criterion percentage of 68% with enough teachers with the implementation of aspects percentage of 71% with both criteria, and implementation aspects percentage of students with 71% of the criteria well. Cycle II implementation plan with a percentage of 85% learning criterion very well, the percentage of teachers with the implementation of aspects of the 92% criterion is very good, and the implementation of aspects of the percentage of students with an excellent 89% criteria. It can be concluded study geometrical properties using the inquiry method of learning outcomes increases. Kata kunci: peningkatan; hasil; belajar; metode; inkuiri;

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning results on thematic Integrated Learning Model using Problem Based Learning in class IV SDN 14 Gadut Kabupaten Agam. This research used a qualitative and quantitative approach. This type of research i.e. Research Action class (PTK). The subject of research is the grade IV SDN 03 Labuah Bukittinggi Feed as many as 16 students. Research conducted two cycles. The design of the research include, (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) and (4) observation of the reflection. The results showed an increase in: a) the RPP cycle I 85.93% Cycle II (B) 93,75% (SB) b) implementation on aspect of teacher cycle I 85.71% (B), a cycle II 96,42% (SB) c) Implementation on aspect students cycle I 85.71% (B) and Cycle II 96,42% (SB) d) student learning outcomes s iklus I 74,5 Cycle (B), II (B) 84,84. Thus the model of Problem Based Learning can improve the learning results of integrated thematic grade IV SDN 14 Gadut Kabupaten Agam.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning model type group investigation on the results of learningPkn five grade students SDN 2X111 Kayutanam City. This research is a type of experimental research in the form of Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique using cluster sampling technique with the sample number 40students consisting of 20 students of class VA and 20 students of class VB. Abstract

The research aims to observe the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on students’ learning outcome of thematic learning in Grade V of Elementary Schools in Cluster II of Guguk Panjang Sub-district, Bukittinggi in the 2018/2019 school year. The type of research is an experimental research of true-experimental design in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection of the sampel was performed in simple random sampling. The sample of this research is 68 students. The result employed a t-test, with t count of 2.7606 and t table of 1.66827 with α = 0.05, wich mean that tcount >t table. This means that Ha is accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that the Problem Based Learning model has a significant effect on the students’ learning outcomes on the thematic learning of Grade V of Elementary Schools in Cluster II of Guguk Panjang Sub-district, Bukittinggi.Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, learning outcome, thematic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in learning civics with type TGT cooperative model in the fourth grade. Research that has been conducted shows an increase in the learning process and assessment of student learning outcomes. The experiment was conducted two cycles with RPP assessment results in the first cycle 75% increase in cycle II 96%, and valuation aspects of teacher first cycle 71% increase in cycle II 96%, while the valuation aspects of students' first cycle 68% increase in cycle II 93%. Learning outcomes in the first cycle 63% increase in the second cycle to 80%. Abstract

This research originated from the fact in elementary school (SD) that in the delivery of learning students are still less motivated to take lessons, so that the impact on student learning outcomes is low. The general purpose of the study is to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in social studies learning using a constructivist approach in Class V of SD Negeri 27 Siguhung Lubuk Basung. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which carried out 2 cycles which included four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 22 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 27 Siguhung Lubuk Basung. The results showed an increase in: (a) RPP cycle I 85.71% (good) and cycle II 92.85% (very good) (b) Teacher activity cycle I 87.57% (good) and cycle II 95% (very good) . while the activities of the first cycle students 82.5% (good) and the second cycle 95% (very good) (c) Student learning outcomes in the first cycle 80.83 with a graduation percentage 81.82% increased in the second cycle to 86.65 with completeness percentage 95.45%. So it can be concluded that social studies learning using a constructivist approach can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Constructivistic Model, Learning Outcomes, IPS

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn) yang masih didominasi oleh guru dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran serta sarana dan prasarana di sekolah kurang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembuatan Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn).Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksprimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60. Teknik analisis data dalam penenlitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat yang berupa uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 56.26 untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 64.13 untuk kelas control. Rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 80.8 untuk kelas eksperimen dan sebesar 72,4 untuk kelas control. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t diperoleh bahwa thitung>ttabel (3,019> 1,67), pada taraf signifikan 0,05.  Kata Kunci : Mind Mapping, Pembelajaran PKn Abstract This research aims to determine the effect of the use of Mind Mapping on the results of learning Pkn five grade students SD Negeri 54 Anak Air Kec. Koto Tangah Padang. This research is a type of experimental research in the form of Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique using total sampling technique with the sample number 60 students. This is evidenced from the results of t-test with significance level of 5% obtained tcount (3,019> 1,67155). The result of Civic learning obtained by the experimental group is higher than the control group, it is shown from mean 80,8 and the mean obtained by the control group is 72,4. Keyword : Mind Mapping, Civict Studies
