Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of inquiry learning strategies in integrated thematic learning in grade IV elementary schools. This research is motivated by learning that is still teacher center, the teacher does not provide direct experience, learning seems inflexible so that students are less active in learning. Inquiry learning strategy is a learning strategy that places students as learning subjects who are given extensive opportunities to carry out activities to observe, investigate, conduct experiments by emphasizing critical and analytical thinking processes to find answers to question they ask themselves with or without the help of the teacher. This study uses the method of literature study through literature review to strengthen the analysis of various sources used. Research data collection was carried out by researchers by browsing articles contained in online journals using google scholar and documentation studies in libraries. Abstract

This research aims at finding out the effects of applying the NHT model toward the students’ learning outcomes of civics subject at class IV. This quasi experiment used the non-equivalent control group design. The population was all 4th grade students of SDN 10 Bandar Buat. Samples were chosen by using the saturation sampling technique in which IVA acted as the experimental class and IVB as the control one. The research result shows that by using t-test with the level of significant of 0,05, tcount=2,1 >ttable=2,01 with the mean score of the mean score of the score of the experimental class = 80,9 and the control class = 75,86. Thus, the H1 hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

THE ABILITY TO SOLVE THE STORY QUESTIONS IN LEARNING MATHEMATICS WITH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Abstract This study aimed to investigate the ability to solve the story questions in learning mathematics with problem based learning model in elementary school. This research was a quasi experimental research with the research design used is Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this research was a class V SDN 03 2x11 Enam Lingkung and SDN 12 2x11 Enam Lingkung. The results of this study obtained the average value of experimental class using Problem Based Learning model is 76 higher than the control class using conventional learning 67.2. Based on the results of hypothesis test calculation obtained tcount of 2.17 and ttable with a significant level of 0.05 and dk 48 is 2.01 indicates that thitung> ttabel, so H0 rejected and Ha can be accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ability to solve the story questions in learning with problem based learning model in elementary school gave significant results. Key words: model problem based learning, ability to solve the story questions

Abstract

Learning conditions in primary school (elementary) education especially Citizenship (Civics) learning is learning process in class IV shows the low active student involvement, students are rarely asked about the subject matter. In addition, students quickly feel tired and not concentrating on learning because the teacher is not following the approach can stimulate the activity of students. This happens constantly so that the learning outcomes of students who obtained low. For that researchers using Cooperative Learning Type Listening Team (LT) to improve student learning outcomes. This Research use Approach qualitative and is quantitative, while research type that is Research of Action Class PTK with research device cover, (1) planning, (2) execution, (3) perception, and (4) refleksi. Learning used is Cooperative Learning Approach Listening Study Team (LT) and consists of cycle I and cycle II. Student learning outcomes increased from an average of 76.99 to 85.09 at cycle II.   Kata Kunci: pembelajaran Pkn, listening team, hasil belajar
