Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning process by using the Problem Based Learning model in class V of SDN 05 Puhun Pintu Kabun. This type of research is Class Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects were teachers and 27 grade V students of SDN 05 Puhun Pintu Kabun, Bukittinggi City. The use of the Problem Based Learning model in the learning process can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the RPP assessment in the first cycle obtaining an average percentage of 81.94% (B), in the second cycle it was 94.44% (A). Assessment of teacher aspects in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of 81.25%, and increased in the second cycle to 90.62%.Assessment of aspects of students in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of 79.68% (C), in the second cycle to 90.62% (A). Based on these results it can be concluded that using the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning process. <w:Lsd

Abstract

This research is backed by reality in the field that shows low student involvement in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Number Head Together model to enhance the integrated thematic learning process IN class IV of SDN 23 Ujung Gurun. This type of research is class action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects in this study were teachers (Observer), researchers (practitioners), and grade IV students of SDN 23 Ujung Gurun as many as 27 people. The results of cycle I research on RPP gained an average percentage value of 76,78% (C), increasing in cycle II to 85,71% (B). The implementation of cycle I on teacher activity earned an average percentage value of 78,12% (C), increasing in cycle II to 87,5% (B). The implementation of cycle I on student activity earns an average percentage value of 78,12% (C), increasing in cycle II to 85,71% (B). Thus, it can be concluded that The Number Head Together Learning model can enhance the integrated thematic learning process in elementary school

Abstract

This research aimed to describe improving the student achievement in science learing by using strategy Problem Based Learning at fift grade  elementar in SD Islam Terpadu Cahaya Hati Bukittinggi. The kind of this research is PTK with us kuantitatif and kualitatif research. The result of this research showed that, the student achievement in cycle I was 71,8% with criteria C and this increased to 88,6% with criteria B in cycle II. From the result it can be concluded that strategy Problem Based Learning increasethe students learning achievement in science learning at fift grade in SD Islam Terpadu Cahaya Hati Gulai Bancah Bukittinggi. Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the improvement of reading comprehension skill of the 4th-grade students of Elementary School No.08 Padang Besi,Padang with the use of OK5R method. This study is classroom action research that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The result showed that students’ reading comprehension ability increased from 70,5 (Fair) with 70,5% level of mastery in cycle I, to 86,3 (Very good) with 86% level of mastery in cycle II. The percentage of improvement from cycle I to cycle II is 16%. Based on these results, it is concluded that OK5R methodsignificantly improves the reading comprehension ability of the 4th-grade students of Elementary School No.08 Padang Besi, Padang.  Keywords: reading comprehension, OK5R method, elementary school students

Abstract

This research purpose is to know increase the learning outcomes in integrated thematic used strateghy Mind Mapping in grades V elementary school. This research is as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which acted for two cycles. Each cycle consists of the step of Planning, Actuating, Observing, and Reflecting. The subjects of this  research is student V Elementary School 19 ATTS Bukittinggi as many as 19 students. The sources of data are collected from the teacher and the student. The main data collection technique used are observation, tes and non tes. Data analysis used are qualitative and quantitative  data analysis. The result of this research showed that used strateghy Mind Mapping can increase the learning outcomes in integrated thematic student of V Elementary School 19 ATTS Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan  umum penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk  mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Snowball Trowing di kelas V SD Negeri 52 Parupuk Tabing. Subjek penelitian adalah guru (praktisi) dan siswa kelas V. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata dan persentase dari siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penilaian RPP siklus I 71,5 % meningkat menjadi 93%. Hasil pengamatan guru siklus I 72% meningkat menjadi 94%. Hasil pengamatan siswa siklus I 72% menjadi 94% dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa siklus I 71,37 meningkat menjadi 82. Artinya model Snowball Trowing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : hasil belajar IPS, model Snowball Trowing general purpose of the  research is to study the results of improvement to describe students in learning model IPS Snowball Trowing in class V SDN52 Parupuk Tabing. The Subject is the teacher (practitioner) and  grade V. The results showed that the model of the snowball throwing can improve student learning outcomes.It can bi seen from in the increase in average and precentage of the cycle I and cycle II. Assesment result cycle I 71,5% with an increase to 93%. Teachers cycle observations I 72% increase to 94%. The observations of student cycle I 72% to 94% and the average results of student learning cycle I 71,37 with an increase to 82. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the increase of students learning outcome on thematic integrated learning using PBL. This research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The participants of this research were teacher and 22 students of SDN 23 Marapalam Padang City. The results showed: 1. Lesson plan assessment in cycle I was 78.12% then increased to 93.75% in cycle II. Observation on teacher aspect in cycle I was 85.71% and went up to 96.42% in cycle II while on aspect of students in cycle I was 85.71% the increased to 96.42% in cycle II. Affective aspect of students, the were 5 student who showed caring, honestly in cycle I. It increased to 8 students in cycle II. Cognitive aspect, in cycle I was 77.27 then went up to 89.51 in cycle II. In psychomotor aspect in cycle I was 76.70 and increased 83.80 in cycle II. It can be increased the students learning outcomes on thematic integrated learning.

Abstract

The researchis animed to improve the students’ learning outcomes in learning the Social Study Subject by using the Cooverative Learning, Think Pair Share Model at5th grade of SDN 23 Marapalam Padang.Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research wereteachers (practitioners) and 31 students. The result of research was improve a) Lesson plan the cycles of I was 82,1% and the cycles II of 92,9% b) Implementation teacher’s activity of I cycle was 76,6% and II cycle was 96,9% while implementation students activity of I cycle was 76,6% and II cycle was 96,9% c) the students learning outcomes in the I cycle was 74,16 and II cycle was 84,56.It can be concluded that used Cooperative Learning Model Type Think Pair Share can improve students achievement in learning social study of elementary school.Keyword : Learning outcomes, Social study, model
