Abstract

Abstract. Belajang Susu Plant (Scindapsus pictus Hassk.) is a species of the genus Scindapsus including the Araceae family which has been traditionally used by the Mambi people for medicine. Plants from the genus Scindapsus contain active compounds such as calcium oxalate, flavonoids sulfate and a mixture of flavones and flavonols sulfate which can be used as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antioxidant, anticancer and anti-tumor. This study aims to determine the potential of methanol extract of Scindapsus pictus Hassk. as an anticancer. Extraction was carried out by maceration with methanol and then tested for cytotoxicity against MCF-7 cancer cells. The results showed that the methanol extract of Scindapsus pictus Hassk. was very active against MCF-7 breast cancer cells with an IC50 value of 3.9861 μg / mL. Keywords: Belajang susu,  Scindapsus pictus Hassk., MCF-7The first section in your paper

Abstract

Abstrak. Telah diisolasi dua senyawa dari ekstrak akar tumbuhan mangrove S. caseolaris yang berasal dari muara sungai Waetuo, Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur, Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. senyawa pertama (1) berupa kristal putih berbentuk jarum dan positif terhadap pereaksi Liebermann-Burchard. Hasil identifikasi dengan FTIR menunjukkan adanya gugus fungsi O-H, CH alifatik (CHsp2 dan CHsp3), C=C, dan C-O. Senyawa kedua (2): berupa serbuk berwarna putih dan positif terhadap pereaksi Wagner dan Dragendorff. Hasil identifikasi dengan FTIR menunjukkan adanya gugus fungsi N-H sekunder, C-H alifatik (-CH2- dan -CH3), C=C, dan C-N. Berdasarkan data tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa senyawa pertama termasuk golongan terpenoid dan senyawa kedua adalah golongan alkaloid. Kata Kunci: Pedada, Sonneratia caseolaris, terpenoid, alkaloid

Abstract

Abstract. This research and development study aims to investigate the energy values of biscuits made of tempe purée ad sardines flour (sardinella). The experiment was conducted in the Laboratory of Home Economics Department (PKK) in Engineering Faculty of Universitas Negeri Makassar. The used data collection technique is documentation from proximate analysis. The used data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The process of making biscuits using tempe purée and sardines flour starts with weighing all the ingredients, mixing, weighing the dough for 1 biscuit, moulding the dough, placing in the oven and baking, remove from the oven and cooling, then packing the biscuits. The results showed that the nutritional values based on the proximate test of the biscuit formula with the substitution of tempe purée and sardines flour showed that the calorie value increased to 7.8 kcal, fat value increased to 1.72 grams, and calcium value increased to 5.59 grams. Keywords: Biscuit, Sardines Flour, Tempe Purée

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to determine the ratio of external and internal temperatures and the humidity of the electric egg incubator. This research was designed in three stages. The first stage is the manufacture of an egg incubator, followed by the testing and analysis stage. Based on the data from the measurement and analysis results, it was found that the temperature and humidity in the incubator greatly influenced the quality of the hatching of native chicken eggs. This study used an experimental method and was carried out twice. The first stage of testing and measurement data obtained an average external temperature of 28.5°C, internal 38.2°C, and the humidity of the air in the hatchery room was 56.0%. In contrast, the second stage of testing and measurement obtained data on an average outside temperature of 28.42°C, inside 38,0°C, and humidity in the hatchery room 56.0%. It can be concluded that the ratio of outside and inside temperatures in the incubator must be balanced until the 21st day of hatching. In this case, if the outside temperature rises, the temperature inside the incubator must decrease, with the same relative magnitude. Likewise, the humidity inside must have relatively the same ratio to obtain a perfect hatching process, which is between 50% - 60%.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pendarahan otak merupakan salah satu penyakit yang sangat berbahaya karena otak merupakan salah satu organ paling vital bagi manusia. Dalam penanganannya, pendarahan otak dapat di ketahui melalui CT Scan kepala yang dilakukan di rumah sakit. Namun pemeriksaan melalui CT Scan tidak dapat mengetahui atau mendiagnosis letak atau area pendarahan otak yang terjadi, sehingga dibutuhkan suatu teknologi yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut agar penanganan terkait pendarahan otak dapat dilakukan dengan cepat, tepat dan efisien. Pada penelitian ini, dibuat sebuah pengolahan citra digital untuk mendeteksi area atau letak pendarahan otak pada citra CT Scan menggunakan metode kmeans clustering. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari proses segmentasi menggunakan k-means untuk memisahkan objek pendarahan dan background, kemudian proses deteksi menggunakan region props untuk memberikan label objek pada hasil segmentasi pendarahan otak sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba program dengan 20 data uji citra diperoleh rata-rata akurasi yaitu sebesar 90%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa proses deteksi area pendarahan otak yang diusulkan memiliki akurasi yang tinggi, sehingga dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat dan proses yang lebih cepat.Keywords: CT Scan Pendarahan Otak, Algoritma K-Means Clustering, Pendarahan Otak

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of binder concentration on the ability of porous ceramics as TiO2 support catalyst. The porous ceramic synthesis used was the gelcasting method using natural clay as matrix, cassava starch as binder and CMC as dispersant. The concentration of cassava starch binder used were 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%. The methods used in catalyst supporting are adsorption method and sol gel coating method. Analysis of TiO2 catalyst content in porous ceramics using XRF instrument. The results obtained showed that the concentration of cassava starch affects the ability of porous ceramics as TiO2 catalyst support. The largest percentage of TiO2 catalyst with adsorption method was achieved at a binder concentration of 8% with a catalyst percentage of 38.9% while with sol gel coating method was achieved at a binder concentration of 4% with a catalyst percentage of 20.11%. Keywords: Binder, Cassava Starch, Porous Ceramic, Gelcasting, Support Catalysts

Abstract

Abstract. The study designed a seaweed water temperature detection device based on atmega 328 microcontrollers connected with sensors. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D development model.  The research site was conducted on seaweed cultivation land located around campus II of Cokroaminoto Palopo University.  Development of Atmega 328-based seaweed temperature detection tool through several stages, namely 1) defining / define, 2) design / design, 3) Development / develop, 4) Spread / disseminate.  The results showed that the Atmega 328-based temperature detection device had worked well.  Based on the results of validation by two experts related to the feasibility of atmega 328-based temperature measuring instrument obtained the result that the temperature measuring instrument is in the category is very good to use. This is evident from quantitative data and validator questionnaire stuffing and is supported by constructive comments and suggestions from each expert validator. The conclusion of validation results that the measuring instrument is worth testing in the field or at the research site.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  potensi Citra Sentinel-1a menggunakan metode klasifikasi maximum likelihood dan metode klasifikasi support vector machine dalam mengindentifikasi genangan banjir  serta memban-dingkan ketelitian dalam pemetaan genangan banjir  di sekitar kawasan Danau Tempe. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut telah digunakan data citra sentinel-1A dengan akuisisi 3 Maret 2018 (sebelum banjir) dan 26 Mei 2018 (pada saat banjir). Data tersebut diambil, diolah, dan dianalisis di Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional (LAPAN) kemudian mengecek dan mencocokkan kembali  data di lapangan. Data yang diperoleh diolah melaui tahap pengolahan awal interpretasi citra sentinel adalah Preprocessing data Sentinel-1A dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SNAP 7.0.  Selanjutnya menggabungkan citra pre-flood dan post-flood menggunakan stack tools di software SNAP untuk menyatukan kedua citra tersebut menjadi satu citra. Citra hasil stacking selanjutnya dikomposit ke RGB, selanjutnya digunakan dua metode klasifikasi terbimbing yaitu maximum likelihood dan support vector machine. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah metode Maximum Likelihood dan Support Vector Machine (SVM) berpotensi mengidentifikasi genangan banjir dengan    nilai akurasi pemetaan genangan banjir pada metode  Support Vector Machine (SVM) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan metode Maximum Likelihood (MLC) dengan nilai akurasi metode SVM sebesar 50% dan  metode MLC sebesar 42.3%. Kata Kunci: Banjir, Citra Sentinel-1A, MLC, SVM

Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan nilai kelelahan otot atlet futsal saat berikan jus buah semangka dan saat tidak diberikan jus buah semangka sebelum beraktivitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre experiment dengan rancangan one group pre post  test. Subjek penelitian adalah 10 orang atlet laki-laki, hari pertama melakukan permainan futsal tanpa pemberian jus semangka, lalu diukur kadar asam laktatnya, kemudian di hari yang berbeda 10 orang atlet yang sama diberi konsumsi jus semangka sebelum aktivitas dan setelah aktivitas dilakukan pengukuran kembali kadar asam laktatnya. Pemberian jus semangka masing-masing sebanyak 500 ml dengan kandungan sitrulin setara 1,17 ml. Jus semangka diberikan 60 menit sebelum aktivitas fisik dilakukan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kadar asam laktat atlet setelah diberi jus semangka sebelum beraktivitas lebih rendah daripada ketika tidak diberi jus semangka sebelum beraktivitas dengan nilai P = 0.041(p < 0.05 ) yang bermakna signifikan. Keywords: L-Citrulline, Kelelahan Otot, Atlet
