Abstract

Sumberejo Village, which is included in the Trucuk District area, has 10 RTs. In Sumberejo Village, the program to prevent infectious diseases, especially TB, has not been running well for village teenagers. Based on information from health cadres, this program is not yet optimal in this village, apart from the fact that the distance is too far between residence and location, because the quality of knowledge, behavioral attitudes and health environment among teenagers is still lacking. This can trigger teenagers' ignorance about infectious diseases. The most common infectious disease currently occurring is tuberculosis. Adolescents must have action in terms of knowledge, causes, prevention and at least know how to deal with it, so that they have adequate capacity to respond to problems that occur in the surrounding environment. There are several methods commonly used to prevent disease transmission, including optimizing education using different media, namely snake & ledeers simulations. This activity was carried out in 10 families in Sumberejo Village. This activity was carried out over 6 meetings or visits, starting with an assessment, creating a PoA, preparing interventions and carrying out implementation and evaluation. Abstract

Stunting in children is a serious public health problem, which is influenced by various factors, including lack of nutritional intake in pregnant women. The supplementary feeding program (PMT) is one strategy to prevent stunting in children. In this program, we collaborate with Pertamina EP and ISTek ICsada Bojonegtoro. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the supplementary feeding program for pregnant women in Rahayu Village, Soko District, Tuban Regency, in an effort to prevent stunting. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study design. Data were collected through interviews with pregnant women who received PMT. The results of the study showed that after the PMT program was implemented, the nutritional intake of pregnant women had increased, however, there were still obstacles in terms of monitoring the sustainability of consumption and family involvement. This Pregnant Women Class was attended by 20-30 Pregnant Women Participants from 3 Villages (Rahayu Village, Bulurejo Village, Kebonagong Village). This study suggests that the program of pregnant women's classes with the provision of PMT should continue to run every month, in order to further optimize stunting prevention in 2025.

Abstract

Maternal health is a priority in the public health system in Indonesia, but major challenges remain, especially in remote areas with limited access to health facilities. The maternal mortality rate (MMR) is still high, caused by delays in medical treatment, lack of understanding of pregnant women about the importance of examinations, and lack of supervision during pregnancy. Information technology (IT), especially mobile applications and wearable devices, can help improve maternal health monitoring. This article aims to address these issues by utilizing technology, especially Android applications such as Diary Bunda and Pregnancy +, to support independent maternal health monitoring. The methods used include counseling and training for pregnant women in Pagerwesi Village, Trucuk District, Bojonegoro Regency. The results of the implementation of the activities showed a significant increase in pregnant women's knowledge about the role of IT in health monitoring, as well as increased awareness of the importance of using applications to monitor pregnancy conditions. This program has made a major contribution to improving the quality of maternal health and accelerating early detection of pregnancy complications. For the sustainability of this program, a more inclusive approach and increased digital literacy among pregnant women, especially in remote areas, are needed so that the benefits of information technology can be felt evenly.

Abstract

One recent phenomenon is the rise in online gambling practices disguised as online games, particularly those targeting teenagers. In these games, activities that appear to be ordinary play actually involve betting systems, purchasing items with real money, and even cashable prizes, thus containing elements of gambling. Easy access, a variety of engaging games, and the promise of financial gain have drawn many people to online gambling activities, which have serious negative impacts on both individual lives and society as a whole. In Pagerwesi Village, where the majority of the population are families with varying economic and educational backgrounds, supervision of adolescents' digital activities tends to be weak. Many parents don't understand the risks of unsupervised device use, giving their children excessive freedom to access various types of digital games. Therefore, education and outreach regarding the dangers of online gambling hidden within online games are necessary for both adolescents and parents, so they develop digital literacy and awareness of the potential risks. This community service program aims to provide comprehensive education to adolescents and parents in Pagerwesi Village regarding forms of online gambling disguised as games, their negative impacts, and prevention and monitoring strategies that can be implemented independently within the family and school environment. The results of the activity indicate increased awareness among adolescents and the community regarding the importance of understanding the dangers of online gambling disguised as online games for youth in Pagerwesi Village after the education program. For the program to continue, a more inclusive approach and increased digital literacy among the community are needed.

Abstract

Puberty is a crucial transitional phase marked by biological, psychological, and social changes, yet it is often considered taboo to discuss, especially in rural areas. This situation results in a low understanding of the changes experienced by elementary and junior high school children, as well as limited communication between children, parents, and the school environment. This Community Service Program aims to improve children's knowledge, attitudes, and readiness to face puberty through a door-to-door personal education approach supported by child-friendly digital media. The activity, titled SAHABAT PUBER (Great Facilities for Children to Learn About Puberty Based on Digital), was carried out in Pagerwesi Village, Trucuk District, Bojonegoro Regency, targeting 30 children aged 9–15 years. The methods used included individual and small group education, the use of animated videos, interactive infographics, simple quizzes, and active parental involvement in the educational process. Evaluation was carried out through pre- and post-tests to measure knowledge gains. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in children's understanding of puberty, changes in attitudes to be more positive and confident, and increased openness of communication between children and parents. This program has proven effective as a contextual, inclusive, and sustainable model of reproductive health education, and has the potential to be replicated in other regions with similar characteristics.
