Abstract

This research looks at a number of persons who have communication problems due to various diseases. Children with autism are one of them. Because children with autism have three basic disorders: communication, social interaction, and behavior, their communication and social interaction will undoubtedly differ from those of typical children. This research will look into instructional communication for children with autism in the classroom at Rumah Autis Depok. Rumah Autis is a social institution created to fill the gap between the demand for therapeutic locations and schools for children with autism and special needs who come from low-income households. The ethnography of communication approach was used in this research because ethnography of communication focuses on communication processes that involve language and culture. The findings of this research indicated that the communication utilized by children with autism, particularly instructional communication in the classroom, is quite unique and distinct. Teachers must speak firmly but not loudly or repeatedly. Therefore, the students easily understand. Children with autism are easily distracted, and thus, the teacher does not allow wearing eye-catching clothing and headscarves in class. The research encourages communication ethnographers to reflect on fieldwork issues and gives a framework for doing so, particularly when it comes to teaching children with autism

Abstract

Indonesia is the country with the second highest earthquake intensity in the world because Indonesia is passed by the confluence of 3 tectonic plates, namely: the Indo-Australian Plate, the Eurasian Plate, and the Pacific Plate. Earthquakes occur due to the movement of tectonic plates that move freely and interact with each other. The impact of the earthquake includes: Tsunami, collapsed buildings, fires, rock collapses, and ground cracks. The purpose of writing this study is to determine the intensity of earthquakes that occur on the island of Java using the K-Means Clustering method. The earthquake data used in this study uses magnitude, depth, and geographical location parameters obtained from existing data. The K-Means Clustering method is used to group earthquake data into several clusters based on their seismic characteristics. The result of this study is to identify seismic zones with similar earthquake intensity. From the results of the cluster obtained, it was used to make data visualization of areas with high earthquake intensity using GeoMap

Abstract

In the current digital era, protecting information and being alert to the risk of data leaks is very important, especially for confidential data. Efforts to maintain the confidentiality of this information can use appropriate technology to prevent potential security threats. Using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) can play a role in reducing the risk of phishing attacks by utilizing technology-based methods that involve social engineering activities and implementing spear phishing experiments via email content. This is useful for identifying security weaknesses that must be fixed. This research includes the application of OSINT, social engineering tools, and email content. Experiments involving OSINT and phishing attacks are depicted using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) to show the flow of attacks carried out. Furthermore, the phishing attack is used as a basis for designing technology-based mitigation. This mitigation involves two technologies, namely email filters on email servers and two-factor authentication (2FA) for websites that are targets of phishing attacks. The addition of the two-factor authentication feature can be done because the target website has input in the form of an account and password text box.
