Abstract

The congestion conditions that occur on the UMY campus land and the route to the campus that has high density and congestion in the morning and evening, encourage the need for a study related to the reasons why students choose the mode of transportation used and the form of travel patterns that are carried out every day. The purpose of this study is to describe the demographic characteristics and characteristics of students' trips to college. The research method used was quantitative, with a cross-sectional design and purposive sampling techniques, and involved S1 and S2 students from the Faculty of Engineering. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations, and secondary sources, then analyzed using statistics. Based on the research results, most UMY students are 19-23 years old, male, earn above UMP, and have a Class C driver's license. Private cars are used stably over short-to-medium distances and dominate the high-cost category. Trans Jogja buses are popular for medium distances (8-14 km) among students on a budget. Online transportation is chosen for short-to-medium trips with higher costs. This study concludes that students prioritize flexibility, travel time efficiency, and affordability when selecting transportation modes. The policy implications show the need to improve public transportation access, provide campus shuttle services, and parking solutions to optimize student mobility and reduce congestion. Further research is suggested to explore policy frameworks for sustainable transportation in the campus environment.

Abstract

Street Parking is one of the factors that causes a decrease in traffic performance, especially in commercial areas of small cities, so it is necessary to organize it so traffic performance can remain by the planning. The purpose of this study was to find out what the impact of on-street parking traffic is on-road performance and to provide recommendations in the form of parking location arrangements. The calculation method used to analyze road performance is the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2023) while parking utilizing the technique of the Director General of Land Transportation (1996). The results of the study showed that the presence of on-street parking at the study location resulted in road performance becoming Level Of Service (LOS) D and off-street parking resulted in road performance becoming Level Of Service (LOS) C. If on-street parking and off-street parking are not moved, the Level Of Service (LOS) value will be E and F. And this study is to provide recommendations for moving parking locations around traditional markets. In conclusion, parking rearrangements and relocation of parking locations can improve road performance and reduce congestion, with implications for more efficient transportation planning in small towns, especially around commercial areas and traditional markets.

Abstract

The amount of runoff water flow needs to be calculated based on rainfall data in the region. This research aims to analyze rainfall data to obtain the amount of runoff discharge in the Gegesik irrigation area. In this study using a quantitative approach. The research begins with conducting field surveys and collecting data from related agencies. The method used in analyzing rainfall data uses the Thiessen polygon method to obtain regional rainfall and the NFR method to obtain irrigation water requirements. Based on the analysis of rainfall data using the Thiessen polygon method, it can be seen that the average value of rainfall area in 10 years is 42.32 mm. So it can be known that the need for irrigation water with the NFR method occurs in November, which is 12.67 mm/day. After analyzing these results, it can be seen that the existing discharge is 0.77 m3 / s, the flood discharge that occurs is 1.24 m3 / s and the runoff discharge is 0.47 m3 / s. After the embankment elevation of 1 m, it can be seen that the discharge is 0.999 m3 / s, it can be concluded that the discharge capacity after making the embankment can accommodate the runoff discharge. So to reduce water runoff into rice fields from the research that has been done, it can be suggested to change the dimensions of irrigation with the initial height of the embankment of 0.84 m to 1 m and the need for dredging because of the large amount of sediment that settles in irrigation channels that can cause water to run over into the fields.

Abstract

This study critically examines the potential for religious commodification in Bola.com sports media. sports media that actually display sports-related news are interspersed with Islamic content, the author suspects that there has been a commodification of Islam, through the online mass media Bola.com. Using a qualitative method with a netnography approach, the author has seriously analyzed several Bola.com publications during the month of Ramadan 2022, from this vulnerable time there are as many as 39 Islamic content that have been published by Bola.com on websites related to Islam. The results of the Bola.com research as an online media engaged in sports news, articles related to Islamic religious content are inseparable from the political economy motives of media and forms of media innovation for sustainability and profit, the commodification of religion in the form of content as a product in bola.com part of the media business strategy, content is an important part of the media as a selling product to get a profit for media owners. The posting of Islamic content on Bola.com also provides information that makes it easier for its readers, most of whom are Muslims, to get information related to Islam. Most of the results of this study Bola.com readers give a response that there is no problem with religious content published by Bola.com as long as the source is clear, but it is not appropriate because Bola.com is an online media of sports news which is basically only sports news and should still provide information related to sports without interfering with religious articles.

Abstract

The global demand for organic food has steadily increased over the past two decades, driven by growing awareness of health, environmental sustainability, and ethical production. This research examines the integration of bibliometric methodologies with the PRISMA model to identify key research trends in the field of organic food studies. The PRISMA model ensures methodological rigor by systematically mapping relevant search strings and keywords, which narrows down the vast number of articles to those directly addressing organic food and its associated dimensions. A bibliometric approach is then employed to analyze journal performance, co-authorship patterns, co-citation networks, and thematic clusters in organic food research. Results reveal a growing interest in organic food studies, with sustainability, health benefits, certification processes, and global market trends emerging as dominant themes. Notably, key clusters include discussions on alternative agriculture, the implications of climate change, and consumer behavior related to health and environmental consciousness. Thematic mapping highlights "sustainable development" and "certification standards" as key themes driving the field forward. In contrast, niche themes such as "non-timber forest products" indicate potential for future exploration and development. This research underscores the significance of bibliometric methodologies in ensuring objectivity and reliability in evaluating academic contributions. By identifying research gaps and dominant trends, the study provides a roadmap for future investigations in organic food research, highlighting the value of integrating bibliometric analyses with systematic review frameworks, such as PRISMA. This approach enhances the precision and depth of research in this rapidly evolving domain.

Abstract

Swabakar is an event where coal can burn on its own. The purpose of the PT Bukit Asam Tbk Laboratory is to analyze the influence of wind speed and grain size differences and determine the value of transition temperature and the normality test of time and temperature data of coal samples. The research method used is to measure wind speed using an anemometer and measure the coal temperature before and after the swab. It can be seen from the results of the discussion that coal with a grain size of 13 mm experiences a faster swab process than coal with a grain size of 50 mm. The results showed that coal with a grain size of 13 mm experienced a faster swab than a size of 50 mm. The order of transition temperature values based on the grain size of 13 mm was MT-46 < BB-50 < AL-55, while at 50 mm the same results were found. This shows that MT-46 coal is more susceptible to swabbing than other types. Normality testing of time and temperature data shows that all data are distributed normally, so the validity of the research results can be accounted for. This study concludes that the smaller the size of the coal grains, the faster the oxidation process leads to spontaneous combustion. Wind speed also plays a role in accelerating the spread of oxygen into the coal pile, which increases the risk of swabbing. The implications of this study are important for the coal mining industry to consider the factors of grain size and wind speed in stockpile management to reduce the risk of waste and maintain the quality of coal.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the increasingly competitive culinary business landscape in the digital era, where digital marketing strategies, menu variations, and customer service play a crucial role in maintaining customer loyalty. This research aims to test and analyze the influence of digital marketing, menu diversity, and service quality on customer loyalty among "Mie Mbah Joyo" consumers, who have a population of 64. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling formula to determine a sample of 44 respondents. The results of the study indicate that these variables have a simultaneous influence. However, only two variables, digital marketing, and menu diversity, significantly influence customer loyalty. Of all the significant variables, the menu diversity variable has the greatest influence or is the most dominant on customer loyalty, with a value of 0.478. This study concludes that digital marketing strategies and attractive menu variations are more effective in increasing customer loyalty than service quality factors. The implications of this research highlight the importance of innovation in digital marketing and menu development to enhance the competitiveness of culinary businesses.
