Abstract

Stock price volatility is an important indicator for investors in assessing market risk, and it can be influenced by various internal and external factors. Previous studies on the effects of corporate social responsibility (CSR), debt to equity ratio (DER), and asset growth on stock price volatility have produced inconsistent findings, particularly when firm size is considered as a moderating variable. This study aims to analyze the influence of CSR, DER, and asset growth on stock price volatility, with firm size as a moderating variable, in construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A quantitative approach was employed using secondary data from annual reports and financial statements of 15 construction companies for the 2018–2022 period. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with interaction terms to test the moderating effect. The results indicate that CSR and asset growth have a positive but insignificant effect on stock price volatility, while DER has a positive and significant effect. Firm size does not moderate the relationship between CSR and asset growth with stock price volatility but moderates and weakens the influence of DER. These findings suggest that, in the construction sector, leverage is a stronger driver of stock price volatility than CSR or asset growth, and that larger firms can mitigate the risk impact of high DER. The implications of this study highlight the need for effective debt management, strategic CSR implementation, and optimal asset utilization to reduce market risk and enhance investor confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media marketing on brand equity and consumer behavior of ABS mineral water in Kendari. The research uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The sample consists of 164 respondents who are ABS mineral water consumers and active social media users in Kendari City. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires using a Likert scale. The results show that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on consumer behavior (path coefficient 0.626, p-value 0.00 < 0.05) and brand equity (path coefficient 0.721, p-value 0.00 < 0.05). Brand equity has a positive but limited significant effect on consumer behavior (path coefficient 0.152, p-value 0.050). However, brand equity does not significantly mediate the relationship between social media marketing and consumer behavior (path coefficient 0.110, p-value 0.056 > 0.05). The study concludes that social media marketing is more effective in directly influencing consumer behavior rather than through brand equity mediation in the context of ABS mineral water in Kendari.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of transparency and accountability in the implementation of the Social Family's Hope Program (PKH) in Tukmudal Village, Cirebon Regency, using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach developed by Kaplan and Norton. This approach was chosen because it provides a comprehensive overview of program performance, not only from a financial perspective but also from the perspectives of customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, field observations, and document studies. Data validity was tested using source triangulation. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the PKH program has been transparent and accountable, with targeted distribution of assistance funds and active participation from village officials, social workers, and the community. However, the long-term effectiveness of the program still needs to be strengthened through integration with economic empowerment programs. Thus, the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard can serve as an effective evaluation tool to improve the governance of social assistance programs, particularly in ensuring the sustainability of benefits for recipient families.

Abstract

The explosion of digital data has given birth to the era of big data, which presents great opportunities as well as significant challenges in knowledge extraction. Traditional data mining processes often face obstacles in terms of accuracy and efficiency when faced with massive data volume, variety, and speed. This study aims to propose and evaluate a hybrid model based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the performance of the data mining process on large-scale data sets. The proposed model integrates the power of Random Forest's algorithm in handling structured data and resistance to overfitting, with the ability of Neural Networks to model complex non-linear relationships. The research uses a case study on customer churn data from the e-commerce industry which contains 1.5 million records, with comprehensive data mining process stages, ranging from data preprocessing, feature engineering, to model implementation. The results of the evaluation showed that the hybrid model achieved an accuracy of 94.7% and an AUC (Area Under the Curve) value of 0.97, significantly outperforming the Random Forest (91.2% accuracy, 0.93 AUC) and Artificial Neural Network (92.5% accuracy, 0.95 AUC) models. Although hybrid models require slightly higher computational times, the substantial increase in accuracy provides a strong justification for their use in critical business scenarios. This study provides empirical evidence that the hybrid AI approach is an effective and promising strategy to address the challenges of big data analysis, particularly in critical business scenarios where predictive accuracy is a top priority.

Abstract

School libraries serve as fundamental pillars in the educational ecosystem, providing essential resources and services that support both teaching and learning processes across all academic levels. However, the persistent reliance on manual management systems continues to present significant challenges, including inefficiencies in data processing, increased susceptibility to human error, reduced accuracy in record-keeping, and substantial time consumption in routine administrative tasks. This community service research aims to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive web-based library management system to address the operational challenges faced by SMPN 57 Bandung, specifically targeting improvements in book cataloging, borrowing procedures, return processes, and overall administrative efficiency. The methodology employed a systematic waterfall development approach, incorporating comprehensive needs analysis, user-centered design principles, iterative testing protocols, and stakeholder engagement throughout the development lifecycle. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database management. This system includes features such as book information, borrowing data, returning, and an admin dashboard. The implementation results demonstrate significant improvements in operational efficiency, with transaction processing time reduced from an average of 5 minutes to less than 1 minute per transaction, elimination of data duplication errors, and enhanced user satisfaction among both library staff and students. These findings have broader implications for digital transformation in educational institutions, particularly in developing cost-effective solutions for resource management challenges commonly faced by Indonesian schools.

Abstract

Early detection of developmental anomalies in children is crucial for timely intervention, which can significantly enhance long-term developmental outcomes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based detection tool and parental involvement in identifying and managing developmental disorders in children aged 2 to 6 years. A longitudinal research design was employed, involving 300 children exhibiting early signs of developmental disorders and 150 children in a control group. Data were collected through behavioral observation, AI-based analysis of video and audio interactions, and interviews with parents and educators. The findings revealed that the AI tool demonstrated high sensitivity in detecting motor, language, and autism-related disorders. Children who received early interventions showed significant improvements, particularly in motor skills, language development, and social interaction. Parental involvement in the intervention process further accelerated these improvements. This study highlights the potential of AI to enhance early detection and intervention, especially in resource-limited areas, and underscores the importance of engaging parents in the developmental process of their children. These findings contribute to the understanding of how AI can be integrated into early childhood care programs to improve outcomes for children with developmental challenges.
