Abstract

Air Traffic Controller (ATC) is a professional HR that provides services and controls air traffic to prevent planes from getting too close to one another, preventing collisions between aircraft and aircraft with obstacles in their surroundings during operation. The purpose of this study is to determine the ideal number of Air Traffic Controller (ATC) personnel in the Makassar Branch LPPNPI. The research method used is quantitative to assess the ideal number of Air Traffic Controller personnel to support the security, convenience and smoothness of air traffic services both to the ATC and air traffic service users based on KP 287 in 2015, and KP 218 in 2017. The results of this study by knowing the amount of ATC needs can improve work comfort and safety and smooth flight traffic in all units in the Makassar aviation traffic control center, in addition as a foundation for further research.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the objectives of: (1) identifying factors that influence the development of integrated tourism (2) obtaining information on tourism destination management models to achieve tourism development that can increase Regional Income (PAD) and the community economy, and (3) obtaining information on strategies and concepts. The research locations were Bau-Bau City, North Konawe, Bombana, and Kolaka Regency. The analysis methods used were Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis and SWOT analysis. The conclusion of the results of this study shows are as follows: (1) Facilities and infrastructure in tourist areas currently only consist of several types. The existing facilities and infrastructure do not meet tourism quality standards due to lack of attention from the local government; (2) The Tourism Office faces several challenges in developing the tourism sector. This is because tourism is not considered a primary or leading sector in these areas; (3) The development of the tourism sector cannot be separated from the progress of information technology which is increasingly spreading in various regions in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The suggestion from the results of this study is that the Southeast Sulawesi government should hold/collect levies for each district that has tourist attractions to increase PAD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja, kompetensi, integritas dan kerjasama tim terhadap kinerja Personel Polres Kota Kendari. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian Personel Polres Kota Kendari yang berjumlah 89 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Disiplin kerja, kompetensi, integritas dan kerjasama tim berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja personel Polres Kota Kendari. (2) Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja personel Polres Kota Kendari. (3) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja personel Polres Kota Kendari. (4) Integritas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja personel Polres Kota Kendari. (5) Kerjasama tim berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja personel Polres Kota Kendari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Evaluasi Pembinaan SDM Polda Sultra (Studi Pada Anggota Polri Yang Bermasalah). Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber untuk mengecek keabsahan data penelitian. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga komponen yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi pembinaan anggota Polri yang bermasalah pada Poda Sultra sudah cukup baik, hal ini dilihat dari dimensi pembinaan rohani dan mental sudah efektif, dimensi pembinaan kesamaptaan jasmani sudah efektif namun untuk dimensi pembinaan administrasi belum efektif.

Abstract

This research activity will be carried out as an effort to assist the Wakatobi Regency government in solving economic problems based on efforts to increase the output of economic commodities that are categorized as basic and increase the output of regional leading economic sectors so that they are able to contribute more to the acquisition of the Gross Domestic Product (GRDP) of the Wakatobi Regency area. This study aims to obtain and analyze: The results of the identification of economic commodities that fall into the base category to be developed in the Wakatobi Regency area. The results of the identification of leading economic sectors that fall into the basic category to be developed in the Wakatobi Regency area. The results of the development of basic and leading economic sectors in accelerating economic growth in Wakatobi Regency. This research uses Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) analysis as well as regression analysis with a simple linear regression model. This research is expected to show that the development of basic economic commodities and regional leading economic sectors can accelerate the growth rate of GRDP in the process of regional economic development in Wakatobi Regency. The results showed that: (1). The results of the identification of economic commodities that fall into the basic category to be developed in the Wakatobi Regency area are: Plantation crop commodities, food crop commodities, fruit crop commodities, vegetable crop commodities, vegetable crop commodities harvested at once, large livestock meat commodities, livestock meat commodities, poultry meat commodities, marine fisheries commodities, aquaculture commodities. (2) Identification of economic sectors from the leading economic sectors that fall into the basic category to be developed in the Wakatobi Regency area are the agricultural, livestock, forestry and fisheries economic sectors; construction sector; wholesale and retail trade sector; car and motorcycle repair; real estate sector; government administration, defense and social security sector and other service sectors. (3) The development of basic and leading regional economic sectors can accelerate economic growth in Wakatobi Regency as evidenced by the contribution of basic and leading regional economies that have a positive and significant effect on increasing regional economic growth in Wakatobi Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the effect of: (1) dimensions of human resource management on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (2) work tasks on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (3) quality on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (4) quantity on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (5) timeliness on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (6) cost effectiveness on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office. This research design is explanatory research. The population of this study were 31 employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office and were also used as respondents in this study. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis and inferential statistics, namely SPSS. The results of the study stated that: (1) The dimensions of human resource management (work tasks, quality, quantity, timeliness and cost effectiveness) have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (2) Work tasks have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (3) Quality has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (4) Quantity has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (5) Timeliness has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office; (6) Employee effectiveness has a positive and insignificant effect on the performance of employees of the North Konawe Regency Education and Culture Office.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan dan budaya kerja terhadap motivasi dan kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas II Kendari. Adapun penentuan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode sensus yaitu jumlah sampel diambil dari keseluruhan jumlah populasi sebanyak 69 pegawai. Adapun teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes in various sectors, including public services. The implementation of AI in the government sector has the potential to increase efficiency, transparency, and speed of services to the public. However, the application of AI also raises various ethical challenges, such as personal data protection, potential algorithmic bias, and accountability in decision-making. This study aims to analyze the role of artificial intelligence in advancing public services and identify ethical opportunities and challenges that arise in the implementation process. The research method used is a qualitative approach, which involves reviewing various sources, such as previous research results, academic studies, and relevant policy documents. The collected data was analyzed systematically to identify key patterns and ethical implications related to the application of AI in the public sector. The results of the study show that AI has the potential to increase the efficiency of public services, but challenges related to privacy, transparency, and accountability are still major obstacles. The readiness of infrastructure and human resources are key factors in implementing AI in government bureaucracy. Therefore, strict regulations, cross-sector collaboration, and ongoing supervision are needed to ensure the ethical and equitable implementation of AI.

Abstract

The service industry heavily relies on the quality of service provided by employees, with Emotional Quotient (EQ) playing a crucial role in enhancing individual performance and organizational effectiveness. While EI is widely recognized as a key factor in improving workplace interactions and customer satisfaction, many organizations still prioritize technical skills over emotional and interpersonal development. This study examines the role of EQ in the service industry, focusing on its impact on both individual and organizational performance. It explores EQ dimensions, challenges in its development, and strategies for enhancing human resource quality to foster a harmonious and productive work environment. A qualitative descriptive approach is employed, utilizing in-depth interviews with human resource managers, supervisors, customer service employees, academics, and industrial psychologists to analyze the relationship between EQ and employee performance. The findings reveal that EQ not only enhances employees' ability to manage stress and build interpersonal relationships but also plays a strategic role in improving leadership effectiveness and customer service quality. This study underscores the importance of integrating EQ into human resource management policies to cultivate a more adaptive, productive, and sustainable work environment in the service industry.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Supportive Leadership and Self-Awareness on Teacher Performance, with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as a mediating factor. The main focus is to understand the contribution of leadership and self-awareness in improving teacher performance, as well as explore the role of Cultural Quotient as a moderation of supportive leadership towards organizational citizenship behavior and self-awareness of organizational citizenship behavior. This study uses the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to analyze the relationship between Supportive Leadership, Self-Awareness, OCB, and Teacher Performance. Data was collected from 211 teachers through a structured questionnaire. PLS was selected to analyze complex relationships and assess the direct and indirect effects of these variables.  The results showed that Supportive Leadership and Self-Awareness had a positive influence on OCB, which in turn improved Teacher Performance. Although Supportive Leadership does not have a direct impact on Teacher Performance, its influence is seen through the increase in OCB. Self-awareness has a direct and indirect positive effect on teacher performance. Cultural Quotient strengthens the influence of Supportive Leadership on OCB. This study concludes that supportive leadership and increased self-awareness are important strategies to improve teacher performance.
