Abstract

The rapid increase in the use of technology, especially finance (fintech) in recent years has changed the way we conduct financial transactions with digital payment systems. However, the acceptance and adoption of this technology are still a concern for researchers and practitioners in this field. This study aims to evaluate the use of fintech in the context of digital payments by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method version 2 where the TAM model will be used to measure and analyze the factors that influence user acceptance of the use of fintech in digital payments. Through this research, it is hoped that a better understanding can be obtained of the factors that influence user acceptance of fintech in digital payments, especially for the benefit of further development. The approach used in this research is quantitative by using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Respondents for this study were selected from groups of users of digital payment applications such as OVO and Gopay.

Abstract

Film is a mass communication medium that combines audio, visuals, and narration to convey stories, and information, and serves as a medium of entertainment and education for the audience. One such film that provides both entertainment and historical education is A Taxi Driver, which falls under the genres of drama, history, and politics. This film is based on the true story of a taxi driver who inadvertently became involved in the Gwangju uprising of 1980 after helping a German journalist cover the events in Gwangju. The purpose of this research is to understand the representation of journalistic professionalism in the film A Taxi Driver according to the Code of Ethics of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) using a descriptive qualitative research method with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The results of this study identify several scenes in the film A Taxi Driver that illustrate the articles of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) Code of Ethics through various actions of Peter, who plays the journalist. Among them: Article 1 "Respect for Truth" is reflected when Peter visits Gwangju to validate information from Reporter Lee. Article 2 "Freedom of the Press" is evident when Peter attempts to record events at the shooting site. Article 3 "Fair Methods to Obtain Information" is shown by his bravery in recording amid the riots. Article 8 "Transparency" is seen in Peter's promise to publish news about the chaos in Gwangju once he returns to Japan. Article 12 "Solidarity" highlights by his efforts to save Kim's life, compensate for the damage to Kim's taxi, and his desire to reunite with Kim to repay his kindness. Article 15 "Humanity" is demonstrated through Peter's actions of recording the bodies of Gu Jae-sik and the victims of military violence, as well as helping to evacuate the shooting victims.

Abstract

Coffee pulp is the outer layer of coffee pulp which is one type of waste from the coffee processing process that increases every year without maximum utilization. Coffee pulp contains cellulose (63%) which can be utilized in the manufacture of semi-finished products in the form of liquid sugar through the fermentation method. Phenol in coffee pulp causes a sour and astringent taste in processed products, so a fermentation process is needed to degrade phenol compounds during aerobic fermentation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the length of fermentation of coffee pulp on the phenol content of liquid sugar produced and to analyze the effect of the concentration of liquid sugar fermented from coffee pulp on the organoleptic characteristics of candy in the market. The test of phenol content using the Folin Ciocalteu method and the test of reducing sugar using the Nelson Somogyi method showed that the longer the fermentation process took place, the lower the levels of total phenol and reducing sugar in the juice and coffee pulp sugar produced. Sensory testing with the ranking test on 30 panellists showed that the variation of adding 20% coffee pulp fermented liquid sugar concentration was overall most liked by panellists because it was close to candy products in general with the highest sucrose concentration compared to other candy formulas.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of Telkomedika Telkom University Clinic services by developing a mobile application that is tailored to the personality type of patients with conscientiousness. This Mobile Application is designed to fulfill the patient's need for service information through the service information feature and streamline the queuing process through the online reservation feature. Through the use of the DISC personality type approach, this study focuses on the preferences and characteristics of patients to increase satisfaction. Users or patients with this conscientious personality type tend to be meticulous, systematic, and structured. Therefore, a structured interface design and also an easy-to-understand task flow will help users in using the application efficiently. The results of the study show the importance of understanding user preferences in designing applications. Usability Testing on the Telmed 2.0 application prototype resulted in a Single Ease Question (SEQ) score of 6.88, indicating ease of use. In addition, User Acceptance Testing showed that all features worked well, with a score of 91.5 on the System Usability Scale (SUS), indicating an excellent level of ease of use of the application.
