Abstract

The era of digitalization where the majority of people prefer to stay at home and are reluctant to do activities is a problem for manual economic movements but provides benefits from the possibility of maximizing the digital economy. One thing that can still be improved is related to the sale of services, the tendency for online transactions to be more focused on transactions related to physical goods but with the opportunity to see and carry out transactions related to services, this can be done to gain an advantage and related improvements with business opportunities. Obstacles that tend to be found are related to trust because the service process requires someone to come to a location to carry out tasks, this is a challenge for the provision of AHS-Clean applications that provide shoe washing services. This research employs a qualitative approach, with case studies on several leading shoe companies that have implemented digital applications. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, documentation analysis, and direct observation of the business processes involved. The findings indicate that the implementation of digital applications in various operational areas of the shoe business, including digital marketing, e-commerce, and inventory management, has resulted in a positive impact on sales and operational efficiency. However, the primary challenges encountered pertain to the integration of new technologies with existing systems and the necessity to train employees to adapt to these digital changes.

This is because South Papua Province is a new province. this research aims to analyze the implementation, obstacles, and efforts in applying Ministerial Regulation No. 6 of 2022 for state civil servants at the service in question. The research method we use a qualitative descriptive approach was used, with a Likert Scale method applied to measure respondent tendencies through questionnaires. Data was collected from 5 leaders, 10 task implementers, and 135 community representatives across 4 sub-districts. Primary data came from interviews and questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained from documents. The results show that key dimensions, including resource availability, facilities, performance, SOP clarity, and effectiveness, did not meet performance standards, with scores ranging from 33-66%. However, dimensions such as knowledge, budget, skills, and innovation were within acceptable standards. Based on these findings, the study recommends transitioning from manual to digital services to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Further research and collaboration between government and universities are also recommended to support community service efforts.

Abstract

The disparity in purchasing power and investment in the property sector between Indonesia and neighboring countries has attracted attention in recent years. Various aspects, both macroeconomics and socio-demographics, play a role in creating the dynamics of the property market in each country. This research explores how these factors - including inflation, interest rates, national incomes, and public policies - contribute to purchasing power parity and investment patterns in property. Through the systematic literature review (SLR) approach with 12 articles reviewed. The findings show that Indonesia faces challenges of limited access to credit, unbalanced income growth, while neighboring countries such as Singapore and Malaysia followed by Thailand and Vietnam are able to encourage stronger investment with more stable and investment-friendly economic policies. Hence, the results of this study suggest that Indonesia should adopt some best practices from neighboring countries to increase purchasing power parity and investment in the property sector in a sustainable manner.

Mostcat Cafe is the first cafe in Batam that integrates the concept of direct interaction with cats. Adopting the "cat cafe" model popular in Taiwan since 1998, this cafe offers a relaxing experience while enjoying food and drinks, as well as the opportunity to interact with various breeds of cats. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by Mostcat Cafe, including the Marketing Mix elements: product, price, promotion, and location. The results showed that the addition of a play area with cats increased customer loyalty and frequency of visits, and the price set was in line with the experience provided. Mostcat Cafe succeeded in creating a solution for cat owners and providing a space for cat lovers to gather, thus strengthening the cafe's position in the thematic culinary industry in Batam. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the Additional Tax Levy According to a Certain Percentage (Opsen) on the increase in Regional Original Revenue (PAD) and its effectiveness in supporting regional financial planning. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive and causal approach, involving selected regions that implement the tax opsen policy. The results showed that the implementation of tax opsen significantly increased PAD, with the contribution varying depending on the economic characteristics of each region. In addition, this study also found that tax opsens positively contributed to the stability of local financial planning. Regions that implemented tax opsen had lower PAD variability (12%) and less dependence on central transfers (25%) compared to regions without tax opsen. These findings suggest that tax opsen not only increases revenue, but also reduces local dependence on central transfers, allowing local governments to allocate resources more effectively to development programs. This research is expected to serve as a reference in the development of a more independent and sustainable fiscal policy at the local level.
