Abstract

Occupational fatigue is a common issue in various industries, particularly in the construction sector, which is characterized by high occupational risks. This study aims to identify the risk factors contributing to occupational fatigue among construction workers and propose strategies to mitigate these risks. The research employs a systematic literature review method following PRISMA guidelines. The literature search was conducted using Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect with keywords such as “Occupational Fatigue,” “Work Fatigue,” “Construction Worker,” “Risk Factor,” and “Construction,” covering publications from 2014 to 2024. Articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure relevance. The review of 12 selected articles identified several key risk factors associated with occupational fatigue, including job complexity, work stress, psychological health conditions, age, tenure, work climate, workload, and unsafe working conditions. Additionally, a negative work climate, excessive workload, and hazardous work environments were found to be major contributors to workplace fatigue. The findings indicate that addressing these risk factors is essential for improving worker safety and well-being. Implementing targeted interventions, such as workload management, stress reduction programs, and improvements in occupational health and safety standards, can significantly reduce fatigue levels among construction workers. These measures can also enhance productivity and overall job satisfaction in the construction industry.

Abstract

Historical buildings are cultural heritages that require preservation while adapting to modern demands. The Museum Bahari in Jakarta faces challenges in revitalizing its historical architectural elements while integrating adaptive technologies. This research examines the application of smart building systems in revitalizing the museum with minimal intervention to maintain historical integrity. A descriptive qualitative method is used, involving condition analysis, identification of smart technologies, and strategy development. Data collection includes observation, literature review, and case study analysis. Findings indicate that technologies such as humidity sensors, adaptive lighting, and environmental monitoring can enhance building performance and visitor experience without compromising heritage values. This study recommends placing devices in non-structural areas, integrating energy management with conservation needs, and using real-time monitoring systems. These strategies align with heritage conservation principles. The study concludes that smart building technology with minimal intervention offers a sustainable solution for revitalizing historic buildings like the Museum Bahari while enhancing functionality and relevance in the modern era.

Abstract

Remu Market in Sorong faces challenges in improving transaction efficiency and easing access for consumers. The preference for fast, secure, and practical payment methods, especially in the midst of a pandemic, highlights the importance of digital payment systems. This study aims to analyze the effect of QR Code-based digital payment systems, with a focus on perceived benefits, convenience, and security, on increasing sales at Remu Market. Descriptive quantitative research method was used, with primary data collection through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. The results showed that the three perceptions of benefits, convenience, and security have a positive effect on the intention to use QR Code payments. The regression model shows significant contributions from each perception, with ease of use providing the greatest impact. These findings suggest that the implementation of a QR Code-based digital payment system can increase sales and transaction efficiency at Remu Market. The model explains 99.3% of the variation in intention to use, indicating a strong positive relationship between perceptions and intention to use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Framing Analysis of Reporting on Electric Transportation Subsidies in Indonesia during 2023 by Tirto ID. EV becoming more discussed in today’s digital age, and some online in-depth news outlet is picking this discourse as part of participating in voicing the accurate news, which includes Tirto ID. With framing analysis, we can see how good, phrased news is still lacking in geographic source value despite the good narration in contributing to their media opinion. The topic itself is still warm material to be discussed for their upcoming policy. Electric transportation policies vary significantly between different countries as governments strive to reduce carbon emissions, promote energy efficiency, and transition to more sustainable modes of transportation. These policies encompass a range of measures, including incentives for electric vehicle (EV) adoption, infrastructure development, emissions regulations, and research funding.

Abstract

Various kinds of research on audit quality have been conducted and audit fees are one of the factors that affect the high and low quality of audits. In this correlation method meta-analysis study research aims to examine the relationship between audit fees and audit quality. In this study, the author conducted a review involving 37 study journals related to audit fees and audit quality in the last 5 years that have been filtered with certain eligibility criteria. The results of this study showed a correlation of 0.259 which was included in the low category and z value = 5.581; p < .001 ; 95% CI [0.168; 0.350] which means that there is a significant positive correlation between audit fees and overall audit quality from the 37 studies in the meta-analysis. So that the relationship between audit fees and audit quality is significant positive but is in the low category. These results indicate that audit fees are less directly correlated with audit quality because they have a small effect size. This indicates that there are other variables that have a greater correlation value than the audit fee. And the results of the publication bias test stated that there was no publication bias problem in the meta-analysis study.
