Abstract

Family tourism in university students’ lives is increasingly shaped by digitalization, social media self-representation, and changing family relationships influenced by mobile lifestyles and technology. Although family travel is closely connected to social media use, students’ perspectives on how travel experiences become memories remain underexplored. This study examines the meaning of family tourism for university students and the role of social media in shaping, reinforcing, and reframing travel memories. Using an exploratory qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured online focus group discussions with 24 university students. The data were transcribed and analyzed using the Miles–Huberman–Saldaña framework with NVivo. Findings indicate that students perceive family tourism as meaningful moments of togetherness that strengthen emotional bonds and create lasting memories through shared interactions and experiences. Social media influences travel experiences before, during, and after trips, functioning as both a planning tool and a digital archive of memories. Overall, family tourism provides an important space for strengthening family relationships and memory formation, while social media enriches and shapes how these experiences are remembered and interpreted.

Abstract

This research explores the influence of digital masculinity pressure on cyberbullying behavior among males from Generation Z and Alpha in Indonesia. It does so by combining the concepts of hegemonic masculinity, social comparison, masculinity-related stress, and online disinhibition. Digital platforms are increasingly showcasing hyper-masculine ideals through algorithmic visibility, influencer culture, and competitive online engagements, which leads to increased psychological stress among young males. By applying a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), information was gathered from 478 male participants on prominent platforms including TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, and online gaming spaces. The findings indicate that pressure related to digital masculinity greatly increases stress associated with masculinity, and that social comparison further amplifies this impact. Masculinity stress was identified as the most significant factor predicting cyberbullying. This suggests that boys who feel insufficient compared to digital standards of masculinity are more inclined to participate in mockery, exclusion, harassment, or aggressive humor as a way to compensate. The phenomenon of online disinhibition plays a notable role in cyberbullying, illustrating how a sense of anonymity and diminished responsibility encourage impulsive acts of aggression. The research finds that cyberbullying among Indonesian boys is influenced by psychological factors and motivated by the desire to gain attention in the digital environment. The results emphasize the importance of digital literacy, training for emotional resilience, and interventions at the platform level to reduce online aggression influenced by masculinity, as digital environments increasingly impact the development of adolescent identities.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the public sector drives the adoption of Digital Human Resource Management (Digital HRM) as a strategic tool to improve organizational efficiency and public service quality. However, existing studies remain scattered and fail to fully capture the interrelationships between driving factors, barriers, and organizational outcomes, particularly in border regions facing infrastructure and resource constraints. This study conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) to examine Digital HRM's role in influencing public sector organizational outcomes and to identify its implementation drivers and barriers. From a total of 320 articles identified in the initial stage, a screening process was conducted, reducing the list to 60 articles; ultimately, 30 empirical studies meeting the inclusion criteria were analyzed in greater depth. Study quality was evaluated using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT), and data synthesis was conducted via deep thematic analysis.Findings indicate that Digital HRM adoption is shaped by technological, organizational, human, and institutional factors, with perceived usefulness, organizational readiness, and leadership support being the most significant drivers. Conversely, resistance to change, infrastructure limitations, and digital skills gaps serve as major barriers. Implementation successfully enhances operational efficiency, service quality, employee performance, and decision-making quality, often mediated by employee engagement and knowledge sharing. In border regions, limited connectivity and resources are critical factors determining implementation effectiveness. This study contributes a comprehensive synthesis of Digital HRM dynamics in the public sector and broadens theoretical perspectives by integrating the border region context, offering a solid foundation for formulating tailored future policies.

Abstract

Safety climate and turnover intention have become critical issues in organizational research due to their significant impact on employee well-being, operational effectiveness, and workforce sustainability. These issues are increasingly relevant in border areas, where workers face complex working conditions, including cross-border security threats, illegal activities, infrastructure limitations, and high psychological stress. The main objective of this study is to review and synthesize the literature on the issue of safety climate and turnover intention in border areas. There is a lack of research that focuses on border regions in particular, since most previous studies have focused on more conventional sectors like construction, hotels, and manufacturing, and have separated the impacts of safety climate on turnover intention. This study employs SLR models search reputable databases throughout the globe for relevant articles. The review focuses on studies addressing safety climate, leadership, organizational support, burnout, psychological well-being, and turnover intention in high-risk work environments. The results indicate that a positive safety climate significantly contributes to reducing burnout, emotional exhaustion, and turnover intention, while simultaneously enhancing employee well-being, organizational commitment, and safe work behavior. Leadership, organizational support, and digital transformation were also identified as key factors influencing workers’ perceptions of workplace safety. Furthermore, the border area environment exacerbates work-related stress due to geopolitical risks, security pressures, and technological challenges. This study concludes that strengthening the safety climate through adaptive leadership, organizational support, and digital safety systems is crucial for reducing turnover intention and supporting workforce sustainability in border areas.

Abstract

Developing individuals with independent personal characteristics has become one of the primary goals of education in contemporary Indonesia. Numerous studies have demonstrated that daily activity skill contributes positively to both academic achievement and logical thinking abilities. The objective of fostering daily activity skills is not only directed toward students in general but also toward students with special needs, commonly referred to as Children with Special Needs (CWSN). Through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, the Indonesian government encourages the development of independent individuals among all students in both mainstream and special education settings. This study aims to examine how teachers in special schools (SLB) develop independent character among students with special needs, particularly students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Autism). The focus on students with ASD is motivated by the continuously increasing prevalence of autism spectrum disorders worldwide, including in Indonesia. This research employed a qualitative approach and was conducted at a special school in Deli Serdang Regency. The findings indicate that teachers adapted and further developed the basic independence skills framework proposed by James W. Partington and Michael Mueller, tailoring its implementation to the individual characteristics and needs of their students. Conclusion: The development of daily living skills for students with autism must consider the unique characteristics of each individual, particularly those in phase A. Basic communication skills can be integrated with other daily living skills activities, and the learning process is more effective when implemented through direct practice and gradual prompting techniques.
