Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran IPS berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di Madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest melibatkan 60 siswa kelas XI yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang menerima pembelajaran IPS berbasis PBL dan kelompok kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran IPS konvensional. Hasil penelitian ini pembelajaran IPS berbasis PBL lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional. Ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan skor yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen. Selain itu, siswa dan guru menunjukkan persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran IPS berbasis PBL. Siswa merasa metode ini membantu mereka dalam mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan mengembangkan kreativitas. Guru juga menilai bahwa pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS dan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS di sekolah, beberapa saran diajukan, termasuk penerapan luas pembelajaran berbasis PBL, pengembangan materi pembelajaran yang relevan, integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, serta penelitian lanjutan. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the strategy of the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) Gresik in improving the understanding of Moderate Islam in the Detention Center Class II B Gresik. The focus of this research is on the aspects of strategy, process and results. The method uses phenomenological approaches, with observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results Showed that MUI Gresik is through direct and interactive learning, which is framed in Informal Education, in the form of At-Taubah Islamic Boarding School. The program of MUI at the Detention Center Class II B Gresik has 4 programs, namely: Routine activities; Monthly activities; Annual activities; Incidental activities. By using strategies directly, interactively, empirically and independently; The increase in understanding and intellectual ability of residents, cognitive strategies, verbal information, as well as motoric skills and affective attitudes, both in the fields of the Qur'an, Akidah, Fiqh and Counseling Guidance. Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to discuss the implementation of understanding Arabic cultural literacy in the formation of the personality of grade VIII students at MTs Nasyi'in Sidoarjo. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which involves interviews, observations, and documentary studies. The sample in this study is a grade VII student of MTs Nasyi'in. The results of the study show that factors such as family environment, school, and community play an important role in the formation of students' personalities. Through learning activities involving moral values, students show an attitude of tolerance, manners, and help. Moral education applied in schools not only aims to increase students' knowledge, but also to shape their character to be in accordance with Islamic values. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between families, schools, and communities in creating an environment that supports the development of positive personalities in students. It is suggested that the next researcher may be able to develop a moral-based education curriculum sourced from Arab culture with appropriate methods. Abstract

Abstract: Inclusive da'wah communication has become an urgent necessity in multicultural societies to ensure that the Islamic message of rahmatan lil 'alamin (a mercy to all creation) is universally embraced. This study aims to explore the patterns of inclusive da'wah communication through the perspective of modern da'wah management, focusing on adaptive strategies that address the challenges of cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research examines the implementation of inclusive communication strategies within da'wah communities in multicultural regions of Indonesia. The findings reveal that inclusive da'wah communication requires three key elements: 1) Cultural Empathy, the ability of preachers (da’i) to understand and appreciate the local values of the community. 2) Cross-Cultural Collaboration to involves synergy between local communities and religious leaders to deliver dakwah messages contextually, and 3) Utilization of Digital Technology, serving as a medium to extend the reach of da'wah while preserving the essence of Islamic values. Furthermore, the study highlights that data-driven da'wah management approaches significantly aid in designing targeted and relevant da'wah programs tailored to community needs. In conclusion, inclusive da'wah communication not only enhances the effectiveness of da'wah in multicultural societies but also serves as a model for fostering social harmony and strengthening national identity. This research provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the advancement of modern da'wah management in the globalization era. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe and interpret the multicultural education values in Sinau Bareng sessions with Cak Nun and Kiai Kanjeng, as well as the process of instilling these values to foster religious moderation. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and audiovisual documentation analysis. The data analysis utilized a descriptive method, involving data collection, organization, explanation, and interpretation. The findings indicate that the multicultural education values embodying religious moderation in Sinau Bareng include: (1) tolerance, (2) equality, (3) democracy, (4) justice, (5) harmony, (6) mutual understanding, (7) mutual assistance, and (8) deliberation. These values have a significant positive impact on daily life within the Majelis Maiyah community and society at large. However, as this study employs a qualitative case study approach, its findings are limited in generalizability. The results are specific to the context of Sinau Bareng with Cak Nun and Kiai Kanjeng and may not be directly applicable to other situations or groups. Abstract

Abstract: In this modern era, gold investment has become a popular choice in Indonesia, as shown by the Katadata Insight Center survey which stated that 58.5% of respondents chose gold as their main form of investment. In line with technological developments and ease of transactions, cashless gold buying and selling is becoming increasingly common, including in the form of sharia products offered by financial institutions such as Bank Syariah Indonesia and Pegadaian Syariah. However, this transaction caused controversy from an Islamic legal perspective, considering that gold is a usurious commodity that must be traded in cash. This research uses a qualitative literature study method with secondary data from literature and the MUI website. Stages include data collection, fatwa analysis, and drawing up conclusions. The focus of this research is to examine the concept of DSN MUI fatwa no. 77/DSN-MUI/V/2010 concerning non-cash buying and selling of gold and analyzing the legal basis based on 'urf. This fatwa was born based on the principle of legal istinbath which takes into account the Al-Qur'an, hadith, ushul fiqh rules, and relevant fiqh rules, especially those related to the concept of 'urf (tradition). However, this fatwa is still a matter of debate among ulama because of the potential for usury, speculation and gharar in non-cash gold buying and selling transactions. In this way, it is hoped that it can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the legal validity of these transactions in the context of sharia economics in Indonesia. Abstract: The form of muamalah business is very varied as well as affiliate programs. Shopee affiliate is a program that aims to increase the promotion of a number of stores in the Shopee marketplace. By promoting a number of links or product links from stores on Shopee on a number of applications and social media. However, in practice, it is widely found that the selling price of products can change. The unilateral price change resulted in shopee affiliates not knowing for sure the commission they would get. If the affiliate commission is equated with wages in Ijarah, then it makes the commission punished invalid because the wage conditions in ijarah must be clear and known in advance by both parties. The Ju'alah contract is a non-binding contract, so it can be canceled. Meanwhile, the scholars of Shafi'iyah and Hanabilah are of the opinion that it is permissible for ja'il to increase or decrease wages, because Ju'alah is a non-binding contract, so it is permissible to increase or decrease wages. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to examine the values of character education contained in the book "Ayyuhal Walad" by Imam Al-Ghazali, as well as its relevance to the film "Negeri 5 Menara" directed by Affandi Abdul Rahman. The book "Ayyuhal Walad" is a work that emphasizes the importance of morals, ethics, and ethics in education. Values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and love of knowledge are the main focuses that can shape an individual's character. On the other hand, the film "Negeri 5 Menara" depicts the journey of a group of young people who are trying to pursue their dreams in the midst of life's challenges, reflecting the same spirit and values. Through comparative analysis, this study found that the values of character education in "Ayyuhal Walad" are in line with the theme raised in "The Land of 5 Towers". This research divides character education in the book "Ayyuhal Walad" into four parts, namely: (1) character education in becoming the best servant, (2) character education in pursuing knowledge, (3) character education in worship, and (4) character education in maintaining behavior. The four classifications of character education above are found to be relevant in the film Negeri 5 Menara in four different scenes. Keywords: Ayyuhal Walad; Negeri 5 Menara; Character education.

Abstract

Radikalisme menjadi salah satu tantangan serius yang dihadapi oleh generasi muda, terutama di era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi informasi. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk pemahaman keagamaan yang moderat, toleran, dan berorientasi pada perdamaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran PAI dalam mencegah penyebaran paham radikal di kalangan remaja, dengan fokus pada metode pembelajaran, kurikulum, dan pendekatan yang digunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis data sekunder dari berbagai sumber terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PAI yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi, dialog antaragama, dan pemahaman kontekstual terhadap teks keagamaan dapat menjadi benteng pertahanan terhadap radikalisme. Selain itu, peran guru sebagai teladan dan fasilitator pembelajaran juga menjadi kunci penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam yang rahmatan lil ‘alamin. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa PAI tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai transfer pengetahuan keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis dalam membentuk karakter remaja yang inklusif dan anti-radikalisme. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya penguatan kurikulum PAI yang berorientasi pada moderasi beragama serta peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Abstract

This study discusses about Majlis dzikir and Sholawat as a basis for the development of Islamic education in the community, with a focus on IPNU and IPPNU youth in Bambang Turi Village, Lamongan. The approach used is qualitative research through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that Majlis dzikir and Sholawat not only function as a forum for ritual worship, but also as a means of character and spiritual education for adolescents. The participation of teenagers in this activity has a positive impact on their understanding of Islamic teachings, strengthens moral values, and increases awareness of the importance of togetherness in social life. In addition, this council is also a space for moral development and improvement of social skills through interaction with religious leaders and fellow community members. The role of Majlis dzikir and Sholawat in the development of Islamic education is further strengthened by the guidance of scholars and educators who convey Islamic values systematically and applicatively. Thus, this council contributes to shaping the religious character of adolescents and strengthening their Islamic identity in the midst of the challenges of globalization.
