Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan kelompok ibu sosialita di panceng, Kabupaten Gresik, melalui pelatihan keterampilan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal. Kelompok ibu sosialita di desa ini aktif menggunakan media sosial, namun penggunaan tersebut belum optimal untuk kegiatan kewirausahaan. Program pengabdian ini dirancang menggunakan model Community-Based Research (CBR) yang menitikberatkan pada partisipasi aktif ibu-ibu sosialita dalam seluruh proses, mulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan, hingga evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis CBR berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan ibu sosialita dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk pemasaran produk lokal, seperti kerajinan tangan dan olahan makanan tradisional. Para ibu kini mampu membuat konten promosi yang menarik dan memanfaatkan platform digital, seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan WhatsApp Business, untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas. Meskipun terdapat tantangan, seperti keterbatasan akses bahan baku dan modal usaha, kolaborasi antaranggota kelompok dan dukungan dari pihak eksternal mampu membantu mengatasinya. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga dan perekonomian desa, serta memberikan model yang dapat diterapkan di desa-desa lain dengan potensi serupa.

Abstract

Setiap individu muda yang mempunyai sisi beriman kepada Tuhan yang maha esa dan menjalankan semua perintah Allah serta menjauhi segala larangan-Nya pasti memiliki nilai tanggung jawab di dalam diri remaja. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter remaja yang bertanggung jawab. Membantu remaja memahami konsep kepemimpinan dan keterampilan. Memperdalam pemahaman remaja terhadap nilai-nilai agama mereka. Meningkatkan kepedulian remaja terhadap situasi lingkungan sekitar. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pelayanan dengan cara mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, membuat program perencanaan, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan makna dan membantu para remaja memahami konsep kepemimpinan, memberikan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk menjadi pemimpin yang efektif dalam komunitas mereka. Pemahaman mendalam tentang nilai-nilai agama menghasilkan remaja yang berlandaskan moral yang kuat untuk berpegang teguh dalam kehidupan mereka. Meningkatkan kepedulian remaja terhadap situasi lingkungan dapat membantu mereka memahami dan bertindak dalam perlindungan dan pemeliharaan lingkungan sekitar mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran (TPQ) dalam menggunakan media poster peta konsep makharijul huruf guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Al-Quran di Surabaya Timur. Menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), penelitian ini melibatkan guru-guru TPQ dalam setiap tahapan, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media poster peta konsep mampu meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Sebanyak 85% guru merasa lebih percaya diri dan kreatif dalam mengajar, dibandingkan sebelumnya yang hanya 40% menggunakan media visual. Selain itu, penggunaan media ini juga efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman santri terhadap makharijul huruf, dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca Al-Quran sebesar 20%. Media poster peta konsep memberikan visualisasi yang jelas dan sistematis, memudahkan santri dalam memahami konsep tajwid dan meningkatkan partisipasi aktif mereka dalam kegiatan kelas. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan PAR dan penggunaan media pembelajaran kreatif dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran Al-Quran yang lebih interaktif, menarik, dan bermakna di lingkungan TPQ

Abstract

Introducing English to children aged 0-12 years as a foreign language is very important considering that they are in the "Golden Period", a time when their brains quickly absorb the language they have acquired. This is useful for preparing them to face global competition considering that English is an international language. Community service in Segoromadu village, Gresik district aims to teach vocabulary (names of animals found in the surrounding environment) using the learning media "Vocabulary Cards" to 10 children aged 6-8 years in Segoromadu. Activity methods include demonstrations and assistance to children for 6-8 year. In this activity, they were taught various kinds of vocabulary about animals and fruit in the surrounding environment through games using the learning media "Vocabulary Cards". The results of this community service activity show that the students were very enthusiastic about participating in the learning process, they felt happy and their vocabulary about animals and fruit in the surrounding environment increased.

Abstract

TOEFL Training and Tests were held as a contribution to the "Seru Library" activities at the District Library and Archives Office. Gresik, where this activity is based on the fact that we want to introduce TOEFL to high school students of the same level. "Perpus Seru" is an activity held by the Gresik Regency Library and Archives Service where the event presented is by bringing in volunteer resource persons who want to share their knowledge with the public. Class XII of Senior High School students is the target of this activity. The students are able to gain some advantages from the literacy class because TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) will be used as one of the graduation requirements from university. The methods of this community service activity are lectures, discussions and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exercises. After participating in this activity, literacy class participants are expected to: 1) know about TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); 2) be able to understand various questions in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); 3) be able to understand various tips and tricks for taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); and 4) be able to do TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).

Abstract

This study aims to improve vocabulary mastery by using the snowball throwing technique on seventh-grade students at MTs. Mambaul Ulum Lamongan in the 2021/2022 academic year. Considering that many students find it difficult to master vocabulary, this study focuses on the use of the snowball throwing technique, which can help students improve their vocabulary mastery. The research design is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects are 21 seventh-grade students at MTs. Mambaul Ulum Lamongan during the 2018/2019 academic year. The results of this study indicate that in Cycle I, only 48% (10 students from the class) were able to achieve the success criteria, while 11 or approximately 52% of students did not meet the success criteria. Unlike Cycle I, the average score in Cycle II was quite satisfactory, with scores greater than or equal to 76, increasing to 76.19% (16 students in the class) who were able to meet the success criteria, and 5 or approximately 24% of students who did not meet the success criteria. Based on the results of student observations and post-tests, the improvement was quite significant. The application of the snowball throwing technique clearly helped students in achieving vocabulary. Finally, the author suggests that teachers apply the snowball throwing technique. Considering that the snowball throwing technique is a technique for solving problems in vocabulary mastery. By using various techniques in teaching English, especially in vocabulary mastery, students will enjoy learning more and automatically improve their vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

Limited access to creative economy skills training remains a major challenge for children living in orphanages. The lack of practical skill provision places them at risk of facing difficulties in achieving economic independence in the future. One promising opportunity in the creative economy sector is macramé crafts, which are highly demanded in the market due to their aesthetic value and functional product variations. This activity aimed to enhance creative economy skills through macramé craft training, which can be further developed into marketable products. The program provided benefits such as fostering creativity, motivation, and entrepreneurial skills among participants. The implementation method consisted of four stages: preparation, socialization, practice, and evaluation. The activity took place at Al Muhajirin Orphanage during April–May 2025, involving 15 participants who attended four training sessions. The results showed that all participants successfully produced a macramé product and experienced significant skill improvement. Prior to the training, 100% of participants had no experience in making macramé. After the training, 53.3% demonstrated independent ability in producing macramé, while 46.7% were able to complete it with minimal assistance, indicating that all participants had moved beyond the “unable” category. These achievements indicate that the training was effective in providing a practical foundation for creative economy skills.

Abstract

Mudung Village is a lowland area in kepohbaru district, Bojonegoro regency. The majority of the population work as farmers, apart from growing rice and tobacco, many banana trees are planted next to house and in rice dields but the fruit is only used for sale. In Mudung Villange, quite a lot of people are enterpreneurs as MSME producers and also as grocery store traders. One of the assets in Mudung Villange, which is rearely used, is the gedebog banana stem. This is a tree that contains lots of nutrients ranging from vitamin A, B and C which are good for the body, and there is a need for outreach to MSME so that they are more skilled in product marketing. The method used in this assistance is AsedBased Community Development (ABCD). Which is to build public awareness to be aware of the assets owned by the community itself. It is important to active social change by raising awareness of the community itself by knowning their assets. In the asset-bassed or ABCD approach, several strategies are used, including:discovery, dream, design, devine, destiny. The result of the strategy used in this research is the growing awareness of the people of Mudung hamlet regarding the banana tree assets they own, and apart from that, the community is also starting to utilize and process banana gedebog into processed products such as banana gedebog chips, namely various flavours of banana gedebog chips and know how to use them. Abstract

Sidomukti Village is one of the villages in Kepohbaru District, Bojonegoro Regency, which has many Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In their development, MSMEs are still experiencing licensing problems such as the absence of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and Halal Certificates for KKN Group 07 Students of the Attanwir Institute, in this case collaborating with Sidomukt Village: and the Bojonegoro Ministry of Religion Halal Product Instructor to provide assistance in making NIB and Halal Certification through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. This asset assistance is carried out using the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach with several stages including Inculturation Discovery, Dream, Define, Design, and Destiny. The steps taken to develop existing potential in the village community, namely observation, interviews, data collection on MSMEs, socialization and mentoring of MSMEs, evaluation and community creation. The results and assistance of this are that some MSME actors in Sidomukti village have NIB and halal certification. This assistance shows that socialization and assistance in making business legality can be the right solution to advance MSMEs in Sidomuktı village

Abstract

Kalisari Village Baureno, has great potential for the development of calligraphy art, both in terms of human resources and student interest. Supporting the management of calligraphy-based extracurricular activities is essential in this context. Using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method, this approach focuses on empowering the existing assets in the village, The outcomes of this service are as follows: 1) The guidance on Calligraphy Extracurricular Management in Educational Institutions in Kalisari Village, consists of three main activities: Developing Calligraphy Extracurricular Management, Calligraphy Workshops, and Branding to enhance the image of the Educational Institution through calligraphy extracurricular branding, which can attract the local community and boost trust in the institution, 2) The impact of these changes aligns with the expected outputs, including improved student skills and creativity, more efficient extracurricular management, adaptation to technological and globalization changes, a structured extracurricular program plan, capacity building for teachers and mentors, and a system for monitoring and evaluating extracurricular activities, 3) Monitoring results show that the support for calligraphy extracurricular management has achieved 85.02%, significantly enhancing the development of calligraphy extracurricular management in educational institutions in Kalisari Village. Reflective results indicate that the most significant change experienced by most respondents is the increased involvement of stakeholders in managing extracurricular activities, particularly in calligraphy, leading to synergy among various assets for greater potential.
